1. Agreed, Holt is great for us but equally we''re great for him. I think it just works for him here.
2. I think people genuinely rate Cully as an excellent coach, good tactically and what not. He''d enhance what we''ve got should he stay, sticking two fingers up to Lambert in the process would be a mere bonus!
3. My gut feeling is there''s ambiguity in what this ''clause'' was about, a difference in opinion between board and Lambert - hence the debate.
4. Valid point actually, to be honest I''m with you, I wouldn''t shed a tear if it goes dramatically and horribly wrong. But just going to make sure I focus on Hughton and the new era!
5. I don''t get the bitterness, I''m not impressed with how he left but don''t we remember how pathetic Colchester fans were after he left them? Do we want to be like that? Or do we want to get right behind Chrissy H?!
6.

*But at the end of it all, it is conjecture, we''ll find out what''s what in due course and anyone who claims to know more is almost certainly talking crap.
Hopefully it''ll be sorted out as quick as possible and both clubs can move on.Anyone have an idea how long it takes these tribunals to set up?
When we took Lambert from Colchester in August 2009, it wasn''t sorted until mid May.
7. I don''t think it matters what Villa have had to do in the past, the fact of the matter is we''re looking after our own interests here. We don''t have to do anything to help them out. We can be as awkward as we like, though I firmly believe that Culverhouse and Karsa want to stay.
8. I think we can speculate over Lambert''s contract all we want, what''s done is done. It''ll go to tribunal and we''ll all have to accept whatever happens there.
9. I''ve heard the same about Lambert, I guess you don''t want your manager to be your player''s best friend. I mean look at Terry Connor at Wolves, training got easier apparently and they called him TC. But if what you''re saying is on the money, not doubting you at all, then I''m a little unimpressed. Ah well, now Lambert is NCFC history!
10.
Are they doing buses for any of the away games?
For Celtic only at the moment as far as I know.
11. McNally said there will be buses, so there''s a start!
12. McNally just confirmed there will be coaches laid on!
13. To be fair that red card was a joke, first never a yellow in a million years! But they''re not helping themselves performance wise.
14. Training camp in Austria before the Berlin game.
15. City''s pre-season fixtures are as follows*: Saturday, July 21 - Hertha Berlin - venue and kick-off to be confirmed. Wednesday, July 25 (7.45pm) Celtic (A) Saturday, July 28 (3pm) Peterborough United (A) Tuesday, July 31 (7.45pm) Ajax (H) Friday, August 3 (7.45pm) MK Dons (A) Saturday, August 11 (3pm) Borussia Monchengladbach (H)
16. I''m bewildered to why it''s taking place in Poland/Ukraine. Surely UEFA couldn''t have been stupid enough to be ignorant to what happens out there. It''s got the feeling of a car crash all over it at the moment, certainly doesn''t bode well.
17. That was a weird one Peter Grant, we were pretty decent early on but then it just went to pot. Suppose it was the new manager effect, but the 5-0 away at Stoke in his 3rd game probably hinted we may struggle. Ah well, seems like a long time ago doesn''t it?! Clarke has had experience at top-ish clubs, Chelsea with Mourinho, West Ham - relegation fight and Liverpool. Remains to be seen if he can do it, West Brom is a reasonably well run club so we''ll see!
18. By ''them'' I meant Villa, just realised how unclear that sounded!
19. Either way we get the best of both worlds. We''ve got a talented coaching staff behind us if they stay, I''m sure they can work it out. If not, Villa pay us compo. We don''t owe them anything, they''re our employees and we can be as awkward as we like! :P
20. He''s not our manager anymore, does it really matter? Yes he did well for us, No I''m not impressed with how he left. But let''s look forward to a new season now. I won''t shed a tear if things go terribly wrong for him, but we''ve got a new chapter beginning.
