1. Not Heskey i dont think he will be competeing in the top goalscores at the club if he came i feel a new CB is a priority Wes Morgan (Forest) Ian Evatt (B''pool)Jack Hobbs (Leicster)James thomkins (west ham united)We need a cover right back who will provide competition as wellSam Ricketts (Bolton)A new left back (adam is gettin old unfortunatley)Steven Hammel (Motherwell)MacNamee replacementBennet (Brighton)StrikerDanny Graham (watford)Carlton cole (west ham)Gary Hooper (Celtic)Shane long (reading)Welliton (spartak moscow) (Very unrealistic)
2. I knew this would be brought up but is it relevant dose it matter what people think of us and its his job to judge the situation we were in and anyone outside Norwich would consider us to go down
3. The Doc got way to much stick from some Norwich supporters what was very unfair and i wish him luck at charlton but unforutunatley powell has turned out to be a very inafective manager there
4.
You can clearly see what the thread is about- don''t read it if you aren''t interested in the topic. Instead of moaning and a repeat of threads you''re just repeating the moaning in multiple threads. It''d be good to look further afield, but it''s a gamble. As said before, it didn''t work last time, but Worthy only looked for big names really, not Premiership quality, or ones for the future. Some of the best signings are the cheap ones who peform above expectations (Can''t think of many off top of my head). However I''d expect Lambert (IF PROMOTED) to sign players from England or with proven class in English leagues previously. We aren''t like United, where we can gamble on players- eg:- The twins, Macheda, etc etc. They don''t always come off, but to them £3/4 million is nothing, but for Norwich, any player brought in for anything over £500k will be expected to play first team football and challenge for positions. We just don''t have the luxury of being able to gamble on unproven talent at the highest level.
I have to agree with you there look at the players who PL has brought into our club this season are mainly brought for around £400k at the most. Besides looking at his signings since he has been here he hasent decided to gamble on a premier league player (maybe surman) he has looked down the divisions and you will have to look at the costs to send our scouts over euorpe and the other continents in the world and as you pointed out we havent got these reasources yet
5. Lambert wont go to everton1. I dont see Moyes leaving where will he go they say probably aston villa but yet they still need to decide on Houlier and his future2. there is a rason why Beckford and Distan have been their big buy players as they are dirt poor Lamberts got both a board and supporters who back him 100% and everton may be a bigger club but Moyes wants out as there''s no money at everton I don''t see any employed manager possibly replaceing him
6. Billy Davies wins it for me a few forest suppoters i know blame their unsucsessful attempt in the playoffs last season down the the board not supporting him and he has done so through the entier campaing this season. it is funny considering they have spent between £ 7-10 million over the last two seasons
7. The bookies have got alot of bets on cardiff so the odds will be a closer ratio incase if they finish second
8. they have a 30,000 seater stadium and they average around 19,000 people what is pathetic support for a club with premiership ambitions their attendances were odd in the Carling cup competition as well they managed to get 10,000 to see west brom but sold out against Arsenal. if we or a club of simular size or stature played premier league clubs then it would be a sellout. It shows that there support is weak and they cant use the excuses like there is a bigger club near our area (yet) or why should i be watching an underachiving team. it just emthisizes Norwich are a bigger club and have alot more potential then them simpliy becuase we still sold out when were in the bottom 3 and in a lower standard of football. it shows alot about your club when Wigan Athletic can average a better attendance than you
9. Ipswich 0-5 Norwich we will take revenge on that nightmare day at portman road unforutunatley there will be no scum there to watch it and IpswichCrazy will make another dumb video about Norwich
10. John Carew could be shipped out from villa some everton players will have to be sold but we will probably have to "break the bank" so to say to get some and im thinking of Hugo rodallega or N''Zogbia if wigan get relegated but will cost a fair slice of the bugetAs a potentialy good player (up front) Dale Jennings of tranmere under 20 years and dose look a decent talaent (but he wont leave cheaply)
11. He is a very odd pundit to say the least but i think it is funny how he changes his mind over 2 weeks saying Norwich are favorites and changes his mind to cardiff reading the league table and using it as the way the season is going to shape at the end is stupid
12. Jose Baxter from Everton he is fairly decent for a striker
13. There is a long way to go we shouldent worry yet Forests games in hand are yet to be played
14. Trust Lambert so stop being pecimistic and get on we would have killed to be anywhere near the playoffs at the start of the season
15. Apparently the A-League are considering a ban from playing football in that division as the guy he took out has got partial tears in multiple ligaments and will miss the end of the season
16.

We would be able to get Fraser Forster for about a £1m.
But we don''t need him.
I agree Ruddy is doing fine a Macnamee Replacement would be more into our intrests
17. John Ruddy 8.1 looks solid as a number 1 he had a slow start but looks like a great shotstopper come the midpoint of the seasonDeclan Rudd N/A lack of games so cant be ratedLeon Barnett 7.9 has been one of the best players this season but halted playing games after the portsmouth red cardElliott Ward 7.5 He as made a few mistakes but has found his feet in the teamMichael Nelson 7 Hasent had a fair share of games but has done wellZak Whitbread 6.9 Again, he hasent played enougth by injury but has looked solid Jens Berthel Askou 6.0 I feel he has struggled so far yet to make the step upAdam Drury 7.7 Allways consistant, Decent going forward and has finaly scored a goal. A great season for the left backSteven Smith N\A I have never seen him playRussell Martin 8.4 Has overexeded my expectations, I seriously thought he would struggle but has been one of our best players David Fox 7.4 Rarely made any starts at the start of the season but after the game at Derby County he has started more games and looks like a good playerAndrew Crofts 8.1 He has had quite a season. winning the balls and isnt affraid to make strong challanges. Crofts has a great ability and it is debatable he has been our best player this season  Korey Smith 7.5 Korey has some great potential (we all know that) he has tried hard but it hasent worked out for him Matt Gill N\A He looked decent in a few games last season but is unlikley to make any more apperances (starting) this seasonOwain Tudur-Jones N\A he wasent great last season and it may sound harsh but i think is is a drain on the wage billSimon Lappin 7.7 The king of Spain has been valuable cover at left back this season has made a few mistakes but has been fairly decent out of positionAnthony McNamee 5.9 he had a great time coming of the bench earlier this season but he has been poor recentlyHenri Lansbury 7.1 Good, young and a talanted footballer. It is a shame he has been injured Wes Hoolahan 8.6 Wesley looked to have his career in doubt here for an odd reason but has singed a new deal and he has deserved it Hoolahan has had another fantastic seasonAndrew Surman 7.5 Of what i have seen of Surman he lookes to be one of our best players. He has a great creative ability but like Lansbury injury has hinderd his Norwich career Grant Holt 9.5 (My Player of the season) For the people who have questioned Grant Holt this season should be ridiculed. He has been one of our key figures this season on how he wins set peices in key areas and he is our top goalscorer. If scoring 3 against Ips***** this season isnt good enougth what is then.Chris Martin 7.9 Has looked fairly decent. He hasent scored so many goals but i feel he can get some real form (in terms of goals) soonSimeon Jackson 7.1 Jackson hasent played so many games and hasent got many goals to his £1Mill Price tag. apart from that i think he has more potential than what he is showing (simular to C.Martin)Aaron Wilbraham 6.5 Aaron has looked okay in the few apperances I have seen him in. thought he was unluckey to score against Cardiff this weekend with that chance he had (not the goal)Oli JohnsonN\A hasent played enougth
18. I belive we are more than capabile of getting promoted as I feel this squad has shown alot of potential to do much better than what we expected. If you compare the infastructure of this club to Blackpool (no dissrespect to Blackpool) we have a much bigger club and look how well they are doing. As for staying up I feel we will survive there as well and why, the board will have a different attitude to "just enjoy this season and hope for the best" and will go in there thinking to become an established top flight club. In a sentance: yes we can go up!
19.
The recent football manager games have been very good, but tough to succeed with City. After a few seasons of struggling in the Championship, I decided to cheat my way into the Prem. To do this, when the manager of Norwich (or who ever you want to be) Simply click on the fm button in the top right corner, click ''add manager'' and take control of a rich club (man City, Chelsea etc) and buy a player from the Ncfc team you never play ( I usually sell McNamee for 80m to Man City!) then retire from the rich club, and your budgets are a lot healthier for Norwich, almost guaranteeing yourself the title with a few signings! Or just adjust the Budgets on the editor to give yourself a few hundred million pounds to spend!
There is an actual tool what can help without effecting any other clubs (unless you want to) it is called fm real time editor when you install this tool you can alter contracts, finances, players atributes or just basicly anything. try this tool it may seeme complicated at first but you will get the swing (it helped on fm 2008 a hell lot)http://fmcenter.co.uk/archives/19
20. no nothing has yet been confirmed. we will have to wait till the end to the week i recon
21. The thing is if Jackson decided he wanted to leave the club for the fact he wants to find first team football who would buy him. He would have to drop down a league and I think he will be unwilling to do so. I feel he has more potential than he has shown but critising him is slightly harsh as he has made breif apperances and if he is compared to the two regular forwards. I think he will pick up his game as he will have to understand he is not the key striker he was last season and give Lambert a desicion headache by picking the team. on another note this applies to both Jackson and Martin, I hope they score to boost their confidence infront of goal
22. I belive That Martin should posses more of the CAM role as other posters have said. when he played against QPR he realy did impress me with the way he linked up with the rest of the team and how he was everywhere on the pitch winning balls of the oposition and creating chances in their box. Chris is a much more creative striker than any of what we have and since Hoolahan plays in this position this could limit his chances and the only solution is to play Holt on his own or drop Hoolahan and stick Jackson up with Holt with Martin behind him. I dont think Jackson is capabile of first team football and whatever he has got im yet to be impressed and would be unlikley to favor him over Martin or Hoolahan.I think Jackson is a weaker player than Cody McDonald as were told how fast Jackson is but I feel Cody is faster. But, it is unlikley McDonald will stay on because his contract is up at the end of the season and the question is will Lambert renew his contract. duno. as for Oli Johnson i am seriously doubting that he has a future at the club as it stands and I hope im worng. But a loan move to Yeovil will give him an oppertunity to improve his game as a starting 11 player and could help him prove his worth to us.
23. Well nobody should get into pre judgement before he gets a few matches under his belt. Saying he is only a lague 1 quality player is wrong considering the squad we have is maily built out of lower league players but have made the grade. my only concern is the fact he is a left back as we have three players who can play there and the only reason i can see this as a good sining is if Lambert indends him to be a long term replacement for Adam Dury who is the best left back we have. Dury will be 34 at the start of next season and Marc Tierney will be 26
