1. Very pain free for me also. Waited 4 minutes in the que, registered my Grandad'' ST on my account, picked the exact seats we wanted and then easily upgraded my Grandad''s ticket to Adult before paying. I received my confirmation email at 6:20.
2. Russell Martin. A true leader both on and off the pitch.
3.
Bump.............................anything?
Someone asked McNally if the signing of Camp meant that Ruddy was on his way out; McNally replied with "no". The fact he acknowledged the question without being dismissive of Lee Camp suggests there probably is something in this rumour, may be wrong though.
4. I may be wrong but thought Forest offered him a new contract but negotiations broke down. The impression I got was that he was unhappy about being denied a move to the Premier League, then Forest became a club on the decline. Their once popular player and then captain Luke Chambers spoke out about how things weren''t right at Forest and was then soon sold to Ipswich. So it seems like Camp wasn''t the only player to fall out with the club.
5. From what I can remember, Camp was very highly rated at Forest but I believe things turned a bit sour after he was denied a move to Swansea during the summer after their promotion. Forest then had a poor season and his attitude started to have an impact on his performances, so my Forest supprting mate told me. If he can rediscover his good form, then Camp on a free isn''t a bad bit of business. Therefore, If we are to believe that we''re in the market for yet another keeper now that Ruddy is injured, I wouldn''t necessarily question Camp''s ability but more so the club''s confidence in Bunn.
6. Probably just trying to wind up the Swansea fans again
7. I wouldn''t worry about hearing the goal music....[;)]
8. Not really bothered about our away kits as we don''t have much  need for one but really liked last year''s away kit, not so keen on this one  -  looks a bit like a training kit.
9.
Has news filtered though on colour / style of the new kit yet? Slightly inpatient as it only got shown at 5 but news travels quick (supposedly)! Canaries.co.uk is not loading up on my laptop where I was expecting to find it. Guess it''s due to the website update
Same here + Twitter also seems to be down.
10. Has there been any pre-season pictures - was just wondering if Tierney is able to train yet?
11.
Some good points there alysha and well made as usual.
Thanks Bury Yellow, likewise [:)]
12.
I understand your points Aylsha but the thing is it is an assumption as to what went on with the initial negotiations ( whilst Lambo was till with us). Reading between the lines I feel McNally got heated, maybe because of Holts idiot agent and insinuated that Holt had only decent year left and he wasn''t that important to the squad. If something like that was said most of us could imagine how the big man would have reacted :-) No doubt we will never know exactly what happened and it is not a great idea to assume like Jas, Baldyboy and a minority on this board. Whatever Holt does next year, and he will have a job to replicate his achievements, what is guaranteed in his fantastic work rate and support for his fellow players.
You''re right, my opinion is only based on assuming that the info. we have been made aware of is true - Holt wanted a 3rd year, McNally tweeted about the order of negotiations and Holt''s agent said Holt did eventually get offered the contract around the time of Drury''s testimonial but it was too late because of some things that had been said etc. To be fair I think there was probably right and wrong on both sides; I agree that is very likely that McNally may have got heated and wrongly made Holt feel unvalued. It also seems that Holt and his agent jumped the gun with regards to contract negotiations, something I deem unrespectful to the club and fellow players, which I presume Holt has alluded to in a recent interview -  "I do appreciate where the club was coming from in terms of the process we''ve gone through to get to this point."   With regards to being in a minority, it doesn''t bother me. I''ve been consistent on what I''ve thought on this whole situation in that I didn''t agree with how the whole thing has been handled with the tweets etc. (I know the counter argument that people liked to be informed of Holt''s views etc.) but that I hoped it could be resolved and I''m now glad it has been. I''m of the opinion that Holt will continue to give his all for the club as he always has done, but I do believe that if he has a poor season people will no doubt talk about what happened this summer. When Holt handed in the request, I can''t remember who exactly but there were a good number of people talking badly of him, now there are very few being so open about their views, but I bet they will be as soon as he isn''t playing quite as well. I won''t be one to start criticising him, I know he will give his all, I''m just saying I don''t think he has helped himself.
13. I think Holt will keep the captaincy but if not it''s hard saying without knowing who will be a regular starter. I''d like R.Martin maybe with Howson or Ruddy as vice.
14. I''m not totally disagreeing with you Jas, but I believe GH will always give his best, and he (and his agent) did not handle it at all well, not thinking it through imo. What GH has done has made a rod for his own back, in as much as that when (not if) things do not go for him (all strikers go through these phases, through no fault of their own) then he is setting himself up for criticism from some quarters, which will be a great shame, as he has earned the ''Legend'' status here. I will be cheering his goals next season (that one was for Nutty!) as it is my team that is scoring (I would cheer if anybody scores for us), but on a ''human'' basis, my relationship with Grant has been bruised (and I am suprised he did not mention that in the press conference yesterday!) BTW, in the press conference, his body language was a very uncomfortable (must have itched/scratched all his body parts that we could see , a dozen times each!), and you could tell he just wanted to get it over with.   I did post my own view but I think this sums up my thoughts better [:)]
15. I have to agree with Jas. I don''t begrudge Holt the contract, but the club has a process whereby they deal with players who are currently out of contract first, with those who are in contract having to wait for negotiations and rightly so. I know his agent fuelled a lot of this but I won''t forget Holt publicly confirming on Twitter that he still wanted to leave the day after Lambert left; a real kick in the teeth - we knew he had handed in a transfer request, there was no need for him to go public about it again during a hard time for the club and its supporters. Don''t get me wrong, I''m grateful for what Holt has done for this club, I''m glad this had been resolved and I''ll support him on the field 100% but I do feel that after his antics, if he has a poor season people won''t be so forgiving.
16. Me and my boyfriend will be going, looking forward to it! This reminds me though, I still haven''t recieved my tickets through the post.   Slightly off topic but are the first team playing a local friendly before they go abroad? I remember last year we played Gorleston, but haven''t heard anything about a similar fixture this year.
17.
Sounds like we have a player on our hands here although the article says he is a couple of months away with his injury, do you reckon fit in time for new season or not?
He posted on his Twitter a few days ago that he had been given the all clear to start pre-season training as normal [:)]
18. Someone said they spotted Peter Grant in the city earlier today [:S]
19. I would like to think that if an announcement about Holt is made, it is likely to be that he will be staying at the club. I can''t see them announcing in person that he will be leaving  as it puts the club in an awkward position directly infront of the media. I suspect that if he was to go, it would be announced on the official website first. Regardless, questions regarding Holt are likely to be asked so we may get some idea of where we are at.
20. Someone who works at Carra. (think he also posts on here too) "Anyone know why Delia, MWJ etc have turned up at Carrow Rd? Standard meeting or announcement imminent? If so, what? ncfc" Could this be our first signing?
21. Someone has said the same thing on Twitter but with a different source - a friend who works at Colney. I''m not saying that because of this I believe it, but hopefully there is something in it.
