Fan? ....Was told he was,but born in lancs...apparently he used to post on here and another site early 2002/3 with that name and pic...but as Gervais sidekick,didnt become known till 2007? ,it would seem strange a "fan" of his, used his name,pic that early?

In the 90''s no one really bothered about pre season matches unless a class act like Man U etc was coming here... And it was very difficult to find out the results anyway as most of the time local news never bothered... At work we used to have an old guy called condor,who went to every match including reserves,pre season and even watched training...We used to get our info from him if we were bothered..

Integrating new players that''s all! If we we win the next 3 it won''t mean a rats posterior until Augest the 17th 3pm. It was interesting what the spurs manager said about that comp ( ok after they were knocked out).... All I wanted from this was to improve our levels and introduce new players,what I didn''t want was unnecessary risks taken and incur injuries.. Then after being asked a follow up question.. No the player wasn''t at fault,it was the pitch! Really looking forward to seeing the best squad we have ever had,when everything is up and running..... ,

Lesbon are considerd a big club,is because of being in a ppoor league with not much competition! So therefore nearly always qualify for major euro tourns! That seems so unfair every team got 16 thou what ever division they were in! The article did go on to say the top teams in division one also got the lucrative money from playing in Europe, which was not divided. What I can gather,is all gate money in cups and league went into a pool and at the end of the season was shared out equally?! Sooooo wrong! if you got gates of 20,30 thou and another team got gates of 2,3 thou that would''ve ahem me off.

Does anyone how much £16 thou equates to today''s money? And interesting to learn that every team got the same share out! From champions to relegation of the lowest league.

To help solve an arguement,can anyone point me in the right direction,for that nationwide survey concerning clubs fanbase at that time,for all english and scottish clubs,which was based on attendences for the previous 20 years and included armchair and overseas fans who do not attend? I know we came 16th with a 160,000 odd base and higher than 1p5wich who was in the 20`s with just over 100thou.... Its a wolves mate of mine who reckons they were higher ,but i remember us beating them.. i looked into old prog form 70`s 80`s and we always seemed to have bigger support(and the skm)..but cannot find the right survey online?

At lunchtime..all agreed with what i said before yesterdays match..No one wants injuries,and when playing the teams who are interested in the cup ie league one/two,you run the risk as they go all out for it!! As i stated earlier,i predicted a 2 or 3 nil loss as our players,who are in his 1st team plans for the prem,are not gonna go in for 50/50`s,risking injury or make any lunges,risking hamstings etc.. The qpr manager said he wouldnt lose any sleep if his team lost and the wolves manager said lunchtime he is do not bothered he doesnt even know how many matches there are to the final! I cant believe some people on here dont understand the importance of 1) not getting bogged down with meaninless cupties which will stretch the squad the firther you go into it and 2) risking injuries etc Most footy savvy people get this!

I know loads of scousers through mums side of family,and as was stated on their message boards,most wanted to keep him and was earmarked for the future!...a match against spurs recently,he was the only reason they didnt get hammered!...
