1. Wouldn''t worry too much, your more than good enough to stay up as are we. We got well and truly seen to in the second half at Barnsley, even more annoying, frustrating and aggravating is that it was a Yorkshire derby, and the feeling after that kind of result is sickening, But we''re not good enough to go the entire season without a fair few losses, and we will lose badly again. But at the same time we will demolish teams too.Peaks and troughs, this is a strong league and I''m not expecting to win every game by no stretch and nor should Norwich. I''d be happy with a top 10 finish and beating Doncaster on Friday, I can''t bear another loss to another Yorkshire club.I don''t feel good [:(]
2.
I rang Norwich ticket office this morning and they were quoting about 650 away tickets sold.  I rang to check that tickets were being sold on the door on the night and they confirmed this, so I''m going now and given the large number of Norwich fans based in South Yorkshire I think 1,000 is achievable. As for Ilderton, its been a long time since I''ve been so angry I''ve been close to being kicked out of a pub but watched that match on Sky, and having only had 3 pints I still stood in front of the screen and ranted at him as he left the pitch.  I said something along the lines of "You''ll never ref another Norwich match again".  Shows how little I know - less than 5 months later and he is in charge again.  I''ll give him one bad decision only before I pile in!
Large number of Norwich fans based in South Yorkshire??? Your joking right? Never in my 26 years of trudging the valleys and peaks of my great county have I ever seen a Norwich fan with a Yorkshire accent lmao.....oh dear the comedy. And 650 tickets sold! Cmon you can do better than that. We''re taking 6,700+ fans to Barnsley, although it''s a Yorkshire derby and not that far I''m sure a club with Norwich''s stature can manage more than a poultry 650.
3. No it''s just you mate, the very first and probably only German Norwich fan...welcome from the resident Leeds fan, if a Leeds fan can survive on these boards then I''m sure a German can, you don''t need a sense of humour so it''s all good [:D]
4. God no don''t. Doncaster is the worst night out I''ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing, and I''ve been on some bad nights out. Last time I went I ended up in a bar which can only be described as chav heaven. The walls were decorated in bathroom style tiling and it was actually full of baseball cap wearing goblins drinking WKD.Later that night we went to grab a takeaway, I ordered a chicken kebab only to find each individual piece of chicken had an extra slab of fat attached to it. Lets just say it wasn''t the beer that made me sick. I then threw the kebab at my friend in a furious rage.If your gonna go anywhere in South Yorkshire then go for Barnsley, bars are decent and the flange ratio if like 4:1.
5. Ah, shows how much notice I take with other clubs results....basically, not a lot.Still, the point sticks, pre-season is about giving players who don''t usually play a chance and playing other formations etc. Results are second to team fitness. To say we''re imploding is a bit obsessive, saying that it is Leeds and people do get kinda obsessive for some reason.....weird.
6. Newcastle 0 - 6 StokeNorwich 2 - 1 NewcastleIsn''t this the same Newcastle that ran away with the Championship last season? Point being that pre-season means nowt. And Leeds imploding lol, Grayson will have told his players just what they needed to hear and it had the required response today with a 5-0 drubbing of Pool.Don''t get me wrong, when I heard we lost 4-0 to Bury I was a tad shocked, but then remembered that is was pre-season and old SG will sort them out. Never get ahead of yourself pre-season wise, you get beat 4-0 you win 5-0, that''s probabl not gonna happen much come the start of the season.Well done on the win too. [:)]
7.
The question is more around the boundaries of how you implement it.Goal-line technology only? - yes.  The cameras are already in place, it takes maybe 10 seconds to check.Blatter''s argument is that the sport would be unfair to the lower leagues, but cricket and tennis don''t employ Hawkeye/video replays at lower level professional games and nobody complains.  His second argument is that it would slow the game down, but that''s nonsense too if it is only used for goal-line checks as above.  Nobody wants it for throw-ins, corner vs goal kicks, penalties etc. - a goal is a massive game changer and that''s the limit of where it should be used.
Same with Rugby too, they don''t have it at lower leagues. That fat twat Blatter needs to shift his fat arse out of FIFA and let someone else do the job, someone who doesn''t think he''s some sort of President of a country.....I''d love to kick him in the sponge.
8. This is highly unlikely, there''s no chance we would pay that kind of wage, even on loan his wage would be that of half the squad.Besides, who needs Owen when you have Luciano Becchio!
9.
I see the video on your post Jonny is proof that you are yet another Leeds fan living in the past.It is time to move on and get a grip on the fact that you are not famous anymore and it is the year 2010.
lol, I''m not living in the past I''m celebrating it TIL. Surely you have fond memories of a couple of goals that you''ll never forget??Plus haven''t you heard the Leeds chant "We''re not famous anymore!", we know were not famous anymore, we like it that way.
10. Yeah who cares, what''s the crack...Jesus, you''d think some people have nothing better to do. [H]
11.

Domestic competition League titles First Division Winners (3) 1968–69, 1973–74, 1991–92 Second Division Winners (3) 1923–24, 1963–64, 1989–90 Cups FA Cup Winners (1) 1972 League Cup Winners (1) 1968 FA Charity Shield Winners (2) 1969, 1992 European competition Inter-Cities Fairs Cup/UEFA Cup Winners (3) 1968, 1971, 1973 European Cup/Champions League (1) 1975
Apart from the fact you missed out we were 3rd in prem...Thats the year you couldnt pass back to the keeper anymore to pick up and had to play footy for the 90 mins instead of dragging a 1.0 win out by constantlly back passing..You forgot to mention,Attempting to bribe wolves players to win title, constantly barracking the ref to get decisions you way and the bribes that didnt come to light as some players were not as honest as wolves players..Due to my ol man and bro having a collection of almost every shoot mag since its start in 69,and being passed onto me as they know i like to read up on the history of footy,Augest 74...A poll of professional players asked anonymously, which team they felt got more decisions favoured to them by the official,87% 87!!!!% said leeds utd..So bremner in his column said this has hurt our club and the boss has said we ill be fined from now on for arguing..Never won a title again until the last year of football division one 92,and again in shoots review of the year, though it praised leeds utds achievement coming up then taking title,it went onto say you also topped the committed fouls league and the style was very much in the watford/wimbledon mould with a touch of french flavour...SO DIRTY LEEDS AGAIN..This was the year before we almost won the 1st prem title, throwing away an 8 pt gap..But at least the pundits gave us pludits for our open style football and said it suited the new open football since the backpass was abolished...So if you are a yorkshire born fan, good on ya for supporting your local team, albeit a DIRTY SCUMMY one..If you are a Gloryhunting(thinking you are big enough to still make the prem, and win it one day)TRAITOR..then you are welcom to your SCUMMY CHEATING DIRTY TEAM
Ever heard of a paragraph??
12.
Quote "Just further evidence that not only the BBC, but the whole world of football, are interested in The Famous Leeds United" It''s true you became the laughing stock of the world and people tuned in to enjoy your steady decline from once being half decent. Who can forget the player going into demand £30''000 a week & never thinking he''d get it and coming out with £60''000 a week. Or the fact you couldn''t pay for your goldfish in the end! EVERYONE just laughs at you & you are a great example of that fantastic stupidity. THanks for the entertainment. Brilliant!
We haven''t finished yet [6]
13.
Probably the worst right back to ever play for England
Erm, didn''t Phil Neville play at right back once or twice?
14. I''m pretty sure if the team had a few Norwich players in you''d think twice before calling them wankers.England to win the world cup every time. It''s pretty inevitable that Leeds will climb back in to the premiership once again, it''s just a matter of time. But it''s not inevitable that England will win the world cup in my life time. For the country that invented the game to win the world cup and shut all those doubters and critics up would be a dream. Also I''d love to see the Blatter and Platinis face''s....god that would be nice.Again, and I''ve said this somewhere before, it''s just pathetic to criticise a whole country on a few hooligans and erm...dodgy made flags??? hmmBut if you want to live in your ''high and mighty'' bubble then so be it. If you somehow believe that your better than all other football fans by not supporting your national team, the country that gave football to the world, then ok that''s your prerogative. In some ways these people are refuse to get behind the national team sound like those who come to this country then openly criticise it. Yet they''d happily work, eat and live here.Get a grip, there are Norwich fans who are losers just like there are England fan who are the very same. Would you stop supporting Norwich because all of a sudden you''ve realised there''s a few bad eggs knocking about??? Unlikely.
15. We''ll see what he''s made of if he decides to come. Gotta get in the team first though [:)].If teams do go up when he leaves then we''ll offload him back to you in January then [;)]
16. Loved it, it was a great watch! It was either that or Graham Norton on BBC1....errr Football it is.
17. Well we are dirty Leeds. We could actually do with a few more ''defensively minded'' midfielders if you like. Would prefer McAthur though, if we get both then super. From the jist of the posts he sounds like a sound holding midfielder with a bit of a sting. Although you all seem pretty divided about the guy, would that division remain if he signed a new contract I wonder...
18. I don''t think it''s ''rusty'' as you guys call him. Were after Connoly from Derby, James McAthur and Billy Sharp. But I''m thinking it''s Connoly, could be wrong, will have to see this coming week. But if it is him I hope you don''t call him that due to his playing consistency [:)].
19. Just let it go man, just let it go.... [:)] bit obsessed maybe, just a tad mmm.N Power eh, hmm, you may be the last team to win the "this crap rots your teeth" league 1 title but we''ll be the first to win the N POWER!!!! Championship [:P]Personally I wish it had been sponsored by the Banana Republic but that''s just me.
20. Yeah June 17th, apologies, not entirely sure what month it is now to tell you the truth....
21. With the fixtures being released on July 17th I started contemplating, as I often do, what my ideal first match of the season would be...hmm I thought to myself.Ideally it would be at home, and I''m sure I''ll be there again like last season, and maybe it would be a local derby. BUT I thought, they''ll be plenty of those this season so do I really want that ''anguish'' feeling so early on, that kind of "God no! we can''t get beaten by Doncaster again or have Hull rub it in that early!" [:O]Don''t get me wrong, I have immense belief in my team, but there''s always a worrying doubt when playing in local derbys, rather leave that for later on in the season. So then I thought, well, it would be good to start with a team who will get the players going more than others and that''s gotta be Norwich right? The team that lorded it over us by winning the league prior. Makes sense, each team would be more that up for it and no one would want the other team to stamp their authority on the league so early on, would make for a brilliant match up. Good possibility it would be on TV too, First vs Second, what more could you want for an explosive start to the Championship season. [:)]
22. A stereotypical Leeds player then [:)]Sounds like another erm sound signing if you will. With the capture of Kasper and Paynter on frees, another one of what sounds like decent quality wouldn''t be a bad thing to bolster the midfield. From what I''ve heard he sounds like the kind of player Leeds fans like. That''s playing wise, don''t know what he''s like attitude wise,  we''ll see if he comes.
23. Oh yeah lol http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6173944,00.htmlFirst I''ve heard of it. Would be good to have big Rob back. Also, we''re gonna sign Kris Boyd [:P] [:)]
