  1. Might bumble over to Wales then
  2. The suspicion of a whiff has now turned into a definite noseful of a nasty blue cheese (pitiful thin veneer of yellow outside, rotten stinking blue underneath)
  3. Or you could take your own advice with your posts.* If you don’t get the self-conscious melodrama and bombast of ‘Ipswich-Norwich’ then i humbly contend you don’t get Norwich. Whatever it is, it’s not supposed to be the exercise in humility or promotion of advertising-friendly values that you’re after. *You may yet get a write-up in the Times
  4. I've got love for youIf you were drawn in the 80%, the 80%I've got hugs for youIf you were a pawn in the 80%, the 80%I'll do things for youIf you were torn in the 80%, the 80%I've got hugs for youIf you were born in the 80%Yeah
  5. The pure commercial mentality triumphing over support for the team- because I can afford the few hundred quid and 5 minutes’ effort to renew it each year, to hell with the casual hoipolloi and their youngsters who don’t have cash for a ST but might want to experience a league game seated together (when there’s a danger they might even give vocal support to the players)
  6. Kamara as backup 3rd striker; Idah loan to Pompey to get good/ gain confidence
  7. Or indeed Norwich, every promotion season this century.
  8. Big game takeaway: Ip***ch under pressure from us for most of the game, had to outfoul us
  9. BBC ‘ live’ reporting still says 0-0. Think I’ll bow out now with that memory
  10. How awful! that I’d not seen that beauty before
  11. “He says he just wants to spend more time with me, son. Feed the fish , could you?”
  12. Aside from the first few games that my late dad took me to which first got me ‘the bug’ - I, alongside a fixed core (plus an ever-changing looser band) of schoolmates, would go to early round cup games during the Division 1 doldrums of the mid- 90s, taking advantage of the quid tickets then offered via schools. It was great fun and being the cups, there was no guarantee of being served up disappointment in the shape of our usual league form - I remember several medium and high-scoring wins against lower league minnows, which at that age and experience/expectation/ego was the height of excitement. It boiled the pot and fed the habit until the time Norwich started to get competitive again, and I had enough cash and independence to follow the club as a student
  13. Correct, i won’t be the only one who’s read the “Sick of him now, where’s the money, the club’s languishing, he’s a jerk” type commentary and caught a whiff of familiarity
  14. <Sigh> If nobody else is saying it… It’s going to be a Long week
  15. And Smiffy as assistant. Our legacy to Wales
  16. We should have agreed a special clause where he took the reigns for the championship seasons & became assistant to A.N. other in the Prem
  17. Given you’ve posted a pic with your full name in the past, I’d be super careful about what other public exposures you confess to
  18. What we know about how this match could unfold: Farke brings potentially game-changing subs at 85’ far too late to make any difference the game Nevertheless Leeds prevail, final score 6-7 with a last minute winner at 103’ Er. That’s it.
