The championship next year
Standard replied to InLambertWeTrust!'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think it''s as hard to pick the bottom 3 as it is the top 6. The summer is going to be long and exciting, bring on mid June and the new fixtures! -

Leeds target Canary Targets!!

I think the only way this will happen is if Leeds offer Newcastle more money. If it''s down to FF surely he''d come back -
Should we sing this at City games.
Standard replied to norfolkchance1's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I first heard this a few years ago at a York City game where their "ultra" fans got it going, I''ve liked it since and will be trying it out preseason! We love you, we love you, we love you, and that is why we follow, we follow, we follow, ''cos we support the city, the city, the city and that''s the way it should be, it should be, it should be ooohooohooohooohh I love it, the Jorivk reds are mental but have some great chants -
He just kept the ball moving, can''t remember him giving the ball away. That''s fine it''s what defensive midfielders do (I know he isn''t one but he was playing there yesterday) the main area for improvement would be the physical side of his game, he didn''t get stuck in enough, if he is to continue to play in this role that will need improvement. Exeter fans maintain he was a coup and is fantastic on the wing, but he is unlikely to dispose Wes ,Mcnamee, King of Spain so needs to alter his game

Remembering the Bradford City fire - 25 years on
Standard replied to canary cherub 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I did warn on the first message that it showed the fire and didn''t know it was restricted as it was on Youtube. Those who moan about the plastic stadia we now visit should remember the price that was paid. 1 cigarette, 4 minutes, 56 dead -
Are you trying to suggest that people who blaspheme are worthy of death? as in Matthew 26:66

The "NHS" as they like to call themselves were there (or at least rocked up after about 15 minutes) though I saw no police bringing them in. I was at the back of the terrace, just in front of the "toilet block" and the infamous "red-square" (the only place people were allowed to smoke) and there was definitely a mix of Nodge and Brizzle being moved about. Couldn''t see any of the fight or bust up or whatever due to angles.

There are 2 versions to the song, both were sung yesterday And so is my greenhouse or in the case of stadia without a roof It''s got a roof and some windows
-
Some definitely were Nodge as they came and stood at the back of the terrace
-
I think there was some of both. I was at the back of the terrace and the first group who were kicked out were giving us abuse, flicking the vs and generally being childish, all the rest that were brought out were moved into our stand. Seemed to be that there were nodge fans in the home end, the locals weren''t receptive which lead to some of them being removed and the City lot being moved. It was a far shout from Watford or Crewe when we last celebrated a promotion where the home fans didn''t bat an eyelid
