1. I am a so called "ruddy basher" but I have to admit he was quality yesterday! he stopped 3 certain goals with the pen and 2 shots that would have gone in. No keeper is that good every week so obviously he will make mistakes but as long as we get performances liked that reguarly I will be very happy and my previous veiws proved wrong.

  2.

heard it was 2 boys, didnt see what happened, too intrested in taking my shirt of and going crazy
Classy

Word from the rest of us,..... leave it on.
Nothing worse than British people taking thier shirts off when the sun comes out, so tacky.

    or live and let live...

  3. Well all the games that went to ballot super members were higher priority than season tickets so games such as Ipswich away I missed because people who only go to a handfull of games wanted to go. Like you say they do pay alot more for the home games compared to me but so they should.

haha congratulations [|-)] give that man a cookie! [:D]

But the DVD didn''t really show much action apart from goals either for or against us...therefore saves were not really included, apart from the Swansea penalty save.

Fair Point. It just didnt give me confidence in him for next season. He definately improved over the season but he has no presence in the box.

If a player goes 1 on 1 you just know they are going to score.

  5.
Holts a big loss it goes without saying, but its not as if we''re so desperate we''re having to shove a complete second string or youth player to replace him! While the system and style may need altering, I think it may be worth having Pacheco/Lansbury upfront (with the other on the right side of the diamond) alongside an out and out striker such as Vokes or Jackson, or even Chris Martin, then hopefully Wes slots back in at the tip of the diamond, they could all pretty much play anywhere you may as well pull them out of the hat! (not serious) We''re blessed with versatile players with strengths in technique passing and 100% work rate which will be utilised by Lambert and im confident that if anyones capable of getting the system to work without Holt (is even going to be out?) its Lambert whatever the situation come the end of the season, autos, playoff success or failure, (or even getting unlucky and missing out) this has been a season where everyones given 100% and a team to be proud of.
Totally agree our boys give 100% every time and even if we dont go up theyre still legends.

Perhaps if we had played the game with the same spirit when we were bottom, we may have not got relegated.

We are fast becoming whingers when refs and teams don''t play the game how we want it done, perhaps if we started taking more chances and looked at our own performances we wouldn''t have to point the finger at others!!

Don''t blame Preston, they have their own agenda, nobody will turn up and roll over. Our in ability to beat the lower type teams suggests we need to look closer to home, as too many games this season we have out played opposition only not to win. That my friends has been far too common this season, lets look at what we can change closer to home!!

Are you suggesting we should have resorted to cheating to stay up? I would rather be an honest team in league 1 thanks.

As I said in the OP we didnt play well enough to win so I am not pointing the finger on the matter of the points.

It was just so frustrating the level they brought the game down too.

  8. Norwich didnt play well enough to get the win and didnt deserve to get a win either but the way Preston made this possible was a disgrace to football.

Constant time wasting, faking injuries and making them last as long as possible, winding our players up trying to get somebody sent off to name a few things from the game.

Playing the ball into the corner to t ime waste is one thiing but what they did was out of order and wasnt football. Or wasnt what football should be.

  9. Holt wasnt good last night? he was voted man of the match and i completely agree. he ran his socks off and scored a goal what more can we expect?

On topic of Wilbraham I thought his hold up play was good he won a lot of headers but in front of goal he is atrocious!

  10. This is going well, as a new comer to the board I was expecting to get shot down.. But I just felt that having heard a few of our rivals signing a few good players were going to have to fight for every win and Im not dissapointed that we havn''t signed anybody as lambert did the right thing by not buying for the sake of it. the team we have can do it we just need the strikers to start banging a few in and we''re sorted :)

  11. In my opinion promotion now hinges on the 4 strikers we have available. If 1 or 2 of these can come into form and start scoring a few we will continue to push for automatic promotion. But if the goal drought continues and we keep relying on midfielders and defenders for the odd goal we''re going to struggle to keep in play off comtention by the end I think..

  12. I thought it was the wrong time to be bringing on someone whos been out for so long as he looked really nervous and was giving the ball away at a critical time in the game. He was warming up at 4-2 but they still put him on after it went to 4-3 which was a mistake in my opinion. but nevermind we still won :)

  13. I have worked for a company owned by the carter group and know many people who still do and I can tell you theyre the last people you want involved with the club theyll leave you in the lurch without thinking twice if it will save them some money. I know 4 people who worked for them until they were made redundant days before last xmas.. I was also made redundant by them a few years back. theyve got 0 management skills!
