Russell Martin
Snakepit Ric replied to lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Must say going forward Martin looks clueless , and certainly some of his crossing is dreadful. -
Must say his tactics today were spot on.,Even with not bringing on hooper I think the elmander substitution was the right one. the players look well up for it and could see how much it meant on the final whistle . Also great descion dropping garrido , think it will be olsons for the season now , Thought fer was immense as was tetty and Howson in the middle , Ricky worked hard think he just needs the rub of the green and he will be away. So Chris after all the recent abuse make sure you have a few well deserved beers tonight !!

All this hughton out crap. Look at tonight and Saturday it''s the strikers and midfielders * putting the ball in the net not hughton , The players need to look at themselves a lot this season so far , final product has not been good enough !!
* NOT
Good point cheers ! -

During a couple of our counter attacks in the first half he spun off his marker into space running toward goal, it only needed a waited through ball into that space for him to be clean through on goal, unfortunately our mid field, howson on the first occasion, fer on the second chose to play the ball wide to snodgrass, RVW needs early accurate balls into the channels not slow build up & a hopeful cross into a crowded area, this dilemma bears all the hall marks of Torres demise at Liverpool, his early form was brilliant but as tactics changed his chances became fewer & his confidence went, this is what will happen to Ricky if don''t change our tactics
Completely agree. We lack the ball playing midfielder that would transform RVW''s game.
Howson and Fer can play that ball though. But it just seems to me they aren''t allowed to express themselves due to the tactics.
What a load of crap this is ^^ tactics won''t allow them to play through balls to rvw . If he''s clear through in acres of course they would play it. It don''t matter what tactics they are playing

I''ve sat in there with my st for over 15 years now. It''s a great laugh with people who enjoy a sing song , get a few knob heads. But the majority are fine who would rather stand and sing than sit and be quiet like other areas. Each to their own though . , oh and I work , I have my own house , own clothes , and own teeth and have never burgled ;)

Snakepit Ric replied to ncfc2012's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Would of preferred someone with a better strike rate. Not exactly set the world a light with his record , But will give him a fair chance to prove us wrong !! -

Anyone read the pullout in the sun yesterday , pubs to go before a match, it said squares who show re runs of Norwich games , shows how much that journalist has been to Carrow road -

4 to 5 mill is worth a punt in my eyes. We got 2 back from holt and we need someone to fill his gap. -
VOTE! Whittaker or Martin?
Snakepit Ric replied to Hank shoots Skyler's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Whittaker , but would rather see someone else brought in the starting 11 in that position , -

Top six finish
Snakepit Ric replied to lake district canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Eleventh last season and the league looks less daunting than it did last Hull, Crystal Palace, Sunderland etc, second year of development under Hughton - and looking at the fixture list, aiming for the top six finish looks realistic. We will have to be well clear of bottom three by the last five or six games in any case - and if we are anywhere near the top six by then, we will be confident to push on - and with the fixtures we have at the end -we will have one heck of an end to the season.
I tell you what we can win the league , what with ferguson retiring it ours to take now ;) -
Electrician!! boring most of the time ,sometime''s half decent , although full of nerdy co-workers !!

ncfc you disgust me...
Snakepit Ric replied to lobstercatcher2's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m from lowestoft and now seeing wiz is makes me want to move. I may become a negative doom monger if I stay to long. Agree with the op this site is getting to depressing. Also after every match is predictable , we were awful , sack hughton , getting relegated bla bla bla. Remember the league 1 days people 14th in the premiership at the min !!
