No new players just new manager
NCFC for life 1993- posted a topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t think we need new players just a new manager! The players we bought were an upgrade on what we had yet are stuck in a woeful unadventurous system. -
Comparing a club to us I know fans don''t like but actually us and Southampton are very similar. Both added quality to our squads over the summer, not much difference in the way of quality of player I wouldn''t think?! Why are they playing so well then? What''s their tactics and where are we going so horribly wrong?

Snodgrass, PIlkington, Bennett all out. What better game to make your debut; home game, against Crystal Palace. Redmond and Murphy on the wings! Let''s ''av'' them! Come on city!

I am hoping for a good result and a good performance this weekend against Newcastle. However palace with Pulis will really be a lot more difficult. Anyone who thinks they are down already are brave for making that prediction. Pulls will have them playing for him and who knows what will happen post match on this board?! Anyway, OTBC and here''s too another unbeaten run which is the best in Europe, never mind Barcelona!

I''d be worried if some fans suddenly turn on Hughton again if things don''t go well over the next month. We can''t carry on being so woeful and then play much better it''s not good for the heart. Also we need a good run sooner rather than later. Haven''t we got a horrific end to the season fixture wise?!

Newcastle away Palace home ( with new manager) Liverpool away Although delighted with the final score yesterday the next 3 games I think are very big indeed. In my opinion we are not going to be guaranteed 3 points against palace especially with their new manager they will have in place. I think we may end up with 3 from 9. We will beat palace although it won''t be easy. Anyone else think different? 2 weeks wait for next game....

Hughtons coat. I love it so much I went to tescos and brought one 50% off at 11 quid. Not bad!

How on earth is it possible to go from beating man city 3-2 back end of last season to losing 7-0 this. Wrap your brain around that one!
-
On the 0-0 today it sounds like we played well and reading the message board here it seemed to suggest that the players missed a few chances. How much is Hughton to blame? Anyone willing to put percentages on where the blame lies for our form? For me maybe 70-30. The tactics and the managers choice of subs means him and his staff have to shoulder a lot of the blame for our form. The players have the ability just not being utilised!

Just read the pinkun pre match comments by Hughton. A lot of praising the opposition but not a lot or anything about us setting out to ''win the game'' or ''having a right good go'' as a certain lambert used to say. Now I''m not out to compare or criticise the manager after our recent good performances just wondered what people''s thoughts are on his praising the opposition a lot in interviews. Hoping for a good performance today and a few more shots on target!

I watched the game on sky sports today and thought the atmosphere in the ground was superb, it was a good performance. However I watched all the highlights after the game and thought that closing down of Chelsea players in general was missing especially for the first goal, it doesn''t matter how much class Chelsea have you have to get tight to players. Definetly a much better performance from previous weeks though. OTBC

If you were Norwich manager what would you ban? Passing back into your own half when your in the opponents final third? Players having ridiculous beards? Pilks and Johnson spring to mind!

Great win tonight. I for one was, like many was about to jump on the forum here and call for Hughtons sacking. It was good to see fight back from the team and hope its the start of some more positive performances. We need another 30 or so of them this season! Not 1 good performance every so often but consistently good performances.

Im thinking some fans on here want us to lose tomorrow,if we lose tomorrow night Hughton can''t stay in the job any longer surely and we may well get the sacking many of us including myself want. If we win though Hughton might say ''we have turned a corner'' and that might give him another week at least in the job. A win tomorrow would just paper over the cracks for a few days till we play stoke. It would be more of a shock if we beat Watford then them beating us!

I wish the manager and the players would stop using this ''we deserved more'' line after every game! Its getting boring and tedious. We haven''t deserved more because we have been so awful!

Fans not happy, howson not happy, ruddy not happy, RVW not happy, canary callers not happy. If there was no Hughton would we be happy again?
