  1. 1. Disappointed with his appointment originally, but he has done alright so far, can''t really judge him until the end of October, but initial signs are good, think the appointment of Gary Holt has helped. The style of football we are playing now make Saterday afternoons enjoyable again. 2. We got good money for Snodgrass and Fer. Snodders worked his socks of for us, but we became one dimensional, everything going through him, also bit of a moaner which had a negative affect on the team as a whole. Leroy looked good to start with but struggled 2nd half of the season, a lot of step overs not much else. Unlike Man Utd our manager has bought players in which ensure we have cover and competition in all positions. Managing to keep Tettey, Ruddy, Redmond, Wes and Olsen is probably more important than the purchasing of the new players. Have not done the maths but pretty sure we made more than we spent. 3. Lewis Grabban has done more in 5 games than the rest of our strike force has done in 2 years, excellent work ethic, knows where the goal is and actually runs off the ball. A bargain at 3 million, who could make the step up to the premiership. 4. Bradley Johnson, has given 100% every game he has played for Norwich, not the most talented but pre-season has learned to pass and shoot, always seems better when Tettey in the team. Got on a free transfer 4 years ago and is one of the unsung heroes that NCFC fans take for granted (me included). 5. Pilks excellent when Lambert was the manager but Hughton and Buper never got the best out of him. I dont think he has got over that bad injury at Huddersfield, as never fully commits to a tackle. However excellent on his day and his header against Man Utd will live long in my memory. 6. Youth looks good with the Murphy''s being the main hopes. Watched L''pool U21''s play Norwich U21''s last year and the Liverpool pundits said that Josh Murphy best player on the pitch by a country mile (even though L''pool won 4 - 1) 7. The bluebirds playing in red shirts is something that irritates me. Yet another bum deal for supporters. Anyway about your players Kenwyn Jones always gives us a hard time and surprises me that he doesn''t score more, Marshall was excellent for you last season, but was pretty quick to leave Norwich when we went to league 1, however the one I would have at city is John Brayford, saw him play for Sheff Utd last season looks a good left back, pacey, good crosser of the ball who can also tackle 8. Ruddy, Turner, Tettey, Grabban and another 7. We deserved to beat you home and away last season, so about time yours and Marshalls luck ran out, 3 - 1 Norwich
  2. John Ruddy 7.5 brilliant in the air, good shot stopper, improving all the time, needs to command his area more and quicker with decision making  Declan Rudd  7 Never gives you anything to worry about, is going to be a special keeper, fingers crossedLeon Barnett 8 Wins most things in the air, covers the ground well and rarely gets beat man for man, could improve distribution Elliott Ward  7.5 Comfortable in the air most of the time, surprisingly subtle touch for a big man, is prone to the odd mistakeMichael Nelson  7.5 Gets better every time he plays, will score more goals than any of our centre backs, pace may be an issue but as hard as nailsZak Whitbread 7 Competent defender, comfortable on the ball, more to come provided he stays fit Jens Berthel Askou 5.5 Not sure if he will get many chances, but has not let us down when called upon, solid no thrills, needs gamesAdam Drury  8 Best left back in league 1 last year and championship this year so far,  makes very few mistakes, a credit to the gameSteven Smith  5 Did ok in the two games i saw him in, looked short of match practice and then injured again. Russell Martin 9 Excellent half season, thought he had a below par game for him on Saterday, he marked bellamy out the game & scored,   David Fox 7 Looks like he is settling in, keeps play moving, rarely gives the ball away and a cracking shot,  lacks height defensivelyAndrew Crofts  7.5 Has been excellent so far, wins a lot of tackles, gets in great positions & scores, 1st touch sometimes poor, hope he doesn''t tireKorey Smith 6.5 Still finding his feet in this league, but will get better, Landsbury arrival might hinder his development Matt Gill 5 Struggling to make the team, but is a team player and apparantly a good influence in dressing room,   Owain Tudur-Jones  N/A have not seen him play this seasonSimon Lappin  7 Another team player who sweats blood for the cause, deserves his new contract and an important player for us due to his versatilityAnthony McNamee  6 Not seen him play well from a start, but as a sub is quick, worries tired defenders and gets some decent crosses inHenri Lansbury  6.5 Impressive in patches, not sure if he is 100% match fit, will improve if he stays the seasonWes Hoolahan  8.5 An absolute pleasure to watch, always available, makes things happen, best signing so far this season , wes till 2014Andrew Surman  6 Unfair score, because have seen 9''s sporadically, will improve no end once fit, will take a while for team to get on his wavelength Grant Holt  9.5 Probably the catalyst for this team, a brave, hard working  & inspirational attacker, though somewhat theatrical at timesChris Martin  7 Not as prolific as last year, but works hard and is getting chances, needs a few goals to kickstart his seasonSimeon Jackson  6.5 Still think he will come good, works hard, good touch, would like to see him play off holty or wilbrahamsAaron Wilbraham 6 Did not understand the signing till last 20 against Cardiff, holds up play well and unsettles defenders, might even score a few Oli Johnson 5 No impact this season, hope he does well at Yeovil, i wont forget how important he was last year for us
  3. Saw him play a few times and he looked a decent player, hope he does well
  4. Coachmakers is about 1/2 mile from the ground, but best one on a day like today is the kings head on Norwich road, about a mile away from aldiss park going towards dereham, good beer, food and a massive beer garden
  5. Got mine this morning, my surname begins with T, so not sure what order they are being sent out.
  6. Thanks for the reminder, I thought it was youth players put looking on the Dereham website, it is a side selected from 1st team squad prior to the tour of Germany, looks like I will be getting a ticket a bit erlier than usual for this one
  7. Watched game on friday with kenny reeves playing for england v republic on sky and noticed on the saterday he came off the bench and scored derehams third against needham market. Hope things go well for him in the future sounds like he is putting the effort in
  8. You can use the local train station, which is Liverpool Central about 1/4 mile from Lime Street. We are going from Rock Ferry to Central, last trains about midnight so no need to rush. However best bet for you is to go to merseyrail.org & use their journey planner. Either from Birkenhead or Rock Ferry, the latter is a bit nearer. If you use central station, come out of station, turn right, then left and Lime street about 200 yards on your right. can''t miss it, hope this helps, by the way trains on this line about every 15 mins, so no problem if you miss one, hope this helps
