  1. Does he want the sack I wonder? Because picking Onel again- and sticking a midfielder in at CB is just crazy
  2. It seems very odd to hear both Wagner and Adams put forward “squad is too old” as an excuse for the malaise. Both of them were literally part of the process that hired the old players less than a year ago. Then they even had the brass neck to explain we are saddled with them until they get sold or contracts run out….YOU agreed to those contracts only a few months ago!!! Talk about failing to accept responsibility. Doubtless they will blame Webber despite both being part of the process to sign
  3. I wonder if Delia slated the 20% to deflect heat onto herself and off Wagner?
  4. Nobody cycling UP ketts hill has enough breath left to argue as they do it! I used to tackle it every day on the way home from school - it was a killer but I had thighs like Thor ever after a few years!
  5. I’m afraid, I’m afraid David…my mind is going…daisy, daiseeee
  6. I said on his first day that he simply had to sack Wagner to maintain credibility as a “data man” - tbe longer this takes the weaker he looks. It doesn’t take brains to work out what needs doing at this stage, the tactics, results and substitutions speak for themselves
  7. Here is what I posted all the way back in April last year: Name one thing Wagner has done to merit being here next season and shaping our future at such a crucial time? He’s a nice chap, yes, but is he still a good coach? Aside from the Huddersfield rise- he’s been a failure since then. For me he has taken us backwards not forwards. This might be harsh as this rubbish squad seem incapable of playing for anyone. Nevertheless I think we should let him go at season end and have a total clean slate. Last ten matches I just don’t see what Wagner is doing tactically What changed? Nothing? How long does a board need to see the obvious? Why do we persist with a clearly failed manager?
  8. Some of us made the point repeatedly over the summer but got slapped down by clappers
  9. He spills everything. He has no presence or authority in the box. His fumbles cost us.
  10. I suspect he’s a dead man walking but they are hanging in until the Ipswich game - so he can take the flak for that
  11. Fans at game aren’t even that bothered any more. Just a shrug of shoulders from most. They are losing the fans fast
  12. We stopped playing once they scored, gave up pressing, passing and tackling. Never known a Norwich team who melt so easily
  13. At the ground and the difference in body language before and after is crazy. They don’t want the ball and are hanging back like scared rabbits now
  14. The QPR win was deceptive. Don’t get hopes up just because we beat the worst team in the division. Even against them we gave the ball away sloppily so many times it was alarming - a better team would have easily beaten us.
  15. Did you actually watch the game. We huffed and puffed and just edged a game against one the most plodding and toothless sides to come to Carrow road in years. I saw very little quality to suggest a renaissance is incoming and I do worry about a packed schedule with such an aged first xi (in terms of elite sport)
  16. Yes- this summer hasn’t helped us. Three year contract for Duffy looks awful business. I fear we might end up with another season like Roeder’s when we can’t afford signings and have to go for substandard loans. I do fear that relegation in next two seasons is a real possibility unless we hit on a couple of gems coming through from the youth ranks
  17. With games coming thick and fast until Christmas the age of our team, coupled with the quality of our wider squad, has to be a concern.8/11 players today were over 30 - and that was the oldest average age team since 1980. I think this has been a factor in our demise. Few players are hungry to prove themselves, most on final pay check seasons. How did we go from such young and hungry team to this so quickly? It doesn’t bode well for future either with so little resale value. Knapper has very little to work with
  18. Farke’s first season we had talented players finding their feet in English football. Young and hungry too. Whereas now we have a team of old cloggers enjoying a last summer - I just don’t think the hunger is there
  19. Because he isn’t saying - we are like Carlisle- he is saying the situation in Carlisle, a different club to us, shows that takeovers can happen quickly. It’s not hard to understand - why do you seek to add extra meaning?
  20. Lakey’s point isn’t about success on the field. He’s pointing out that takeovers can be done speedily and cleanly for the sake of a fresh start and that Carlisle’s makes clear how pointlessly drawn out and messy ours has been. Point made and certainly worthy of reflection
  21. We will win and this will create a false impression all is well - putting off the inevitable until it’s too late…again
  22. Don’t grumble - after all we have the excellent PP to play at LB now!!
