1. Tottenham,  lived there pretty much most of my life! so it''s to be expected, they''ll always be my no1 team.
 2. mid table or slightly higher is a realistic and good first season back in the championship.  Of course though, it''s all guess work.  No one will know until play starts and the fixtures slowly take their course.
 3.

Unfortunately football is a greed sport.  Fans expect the best (they have a right, they pay their yearly/weekly ticket prices etc) footballers expect to be paid stupid wages per week which might take some of us quite a few years to earn the same amount, but it''s always the manager or chairman/women who get it in the neck the most.At the end of the day Portsmouth/Hull have showed what over spending does with no contingency planWould you put 11 million into a club if you were rich, but not elite style rich? I know I wouldnt, as you won''t get it back.  But they are "expected" to hense the greed. Whilst we are human we will make judgmental errors, simple as that really. But to answer your question, yes you have someone better in charge than Ipswich do, a richer chairman doesn''t always mean a better one, unless all your care about is risking your clubs future in the long runNorwich are not going to be the only team with premiership ambition, every club will have it, one will make a club, one will break a club however. Also, off topic (sorry)  I''ve noticed different club supporters come on here, I''m one of them, I''m a Tottenham girly, but i''ve noticed one of two Ipswich/Colchester/Leeds fans come on here with no real mean to chat or discuss, but instead to just make stupid constant digs, howcome they are not banned?  You''d think in this day and age socialising and getting along is something we''d all grasp.
How dare you come on here and call yourself a spurs fans, yet show no arrogance? ..
We ain''t all bad you know [:P]

 6.
What are peoples thoughts on this guy. Wasat United, left for Preston then moved to Burnley. Always seems to score a few goals a season and is always available. Never had any major injuries. There is an interesting article on him on the SKYSPORTS website Think he may be a good signing for us, and hes available on a free
quote me if im wrong, but didnt Lambert say he would not sign anyone 30 years old or older this season? (sure i heard it somewhere) so wouldnt happen anyway
 7. not sure if its a tough situation for Doherty, because if it was to due to wages that he left (pure assumption) id think a league one side might struggle to afford him also? and if a league one side does sign him (heard someine mention Charlton), then that just raises more questionsHe will probably end up with another championship team I think
 8.

im sure people said that about blackpool last season before that season started, i really wouldnt go by form guide from the previous season. There is a big gap between championship and league one. It will be a very tough league and i cant imagine any easy fixtures for you guys, Peterborough found that out the hard way! 3-0 is a bit optimistic i personally think, more likely a draw or a hard earned 2-1 win is much more realistic
Are you implying Malky Mackay is of the same calibre as Ian Holloway? Granted, Ian played his part in getting Leicester relegated, but after being the 5th manager in however many months at Leicester in the same season, they were bound for it. Sometimes an evironment plays a big part in how a manager does, and in Holloway''s case it''s clear the likes of Plymouth and Blackpool suit him. What has Malky done to imply that he has a well built side that will challenge the higher echelons of the Championship next season? And from what i can gather they haven''t uncovered the next "Charlie Adam"? The circumstances in either case are completely unique to their own situation. You trying to draw a correlation between the two on the mere basis that "not much was was expected of them" is pretty daft in all honesty. It''s also worth noting that not long ago Blackpool were a side that only just edged they''re way into the Championship via the play-offs in League One, perhaps dispelling this bloody notion of a "big gap" (*yawn* to that). I made a comment on 606 relevant to this topic, and in trying to avoid writing about it for the hundredth time, i''ll just quote myself...
I feel it is worth noting that, whatever you may have thought about the football played, League One last year was more than probably the hardest the third tier of English football has ever been. The teams in us, Charlton, Leeds, Sothampton, alongside the likes of Millwall, Swindon, Huddersfield, and Colchester, were of a significantly higher quality than to that of the season before (and arguably every season before that). And the runaway winners that year in Leicester, who won by a very similar margin to us with considerably easier competition managed to reach the play-offs in the Championship. It''s not the biggest step up from what we saw in League One, or atleast a manageable one, i truly believe that. Undoubtedly worse promoted teams from League One in the mould of Bristol City, Swansea, Blackpool, and Nottingham Forest have in time managed to transpose their League One form into the Championship. If they can, we can. And, for what i''ve seen of the Championship last season, i''m not convinced it''s ''that'' good. The football was unimaginitive, very one-dimensional, and the defending was abhorrently awful at times. And to be fair, when you look at the teams, it''s clear that it''s only going to get worse next season. And what i know for sure is that in the season we got relegated, the standard of football Norwich played was utter garbage in comparison to what we play now. And i believe it''s rather telling that in that entire season we never lost to more than a 2 goal deficit in the League. Mediocrity permeates every aspect of the Championship now, and it''s there to be taken advantage of. And with Paul Lambert at the helm, i''m confident we can do just that. And what is more is that history concerning title winning teams in League One can verify it.I''m a firm believer that organisation, spirit, and momentum are far more important factors than any individual talent will ever be in League football. And right now Lambert seems to ATLEAST be getting the formerly mentioned trio right at the moment.

"Are you implying Malky Mackay is of the same calibre as Ian Holloway?"    Errr no....??  When did I say that?  I didn''t even mention managers?? How about READING what i actually wrote, instead of looking for something that isnt there.I said  "im sure people said that about blackpool last season before that season started, i really wouldnt go by form guide from the previous season. There is a big gap between championship and league one. You trying to draw a correlation between the two on the mere basis that "not much was was expected of them" is pretty daft in all honesty."  where the hell did that come from??? Can you not say stuff on this forum without someone taking it completely out of context?Rant over, won''t waste my energy typing a reply if it happens again.

 10. yup, and in other pointless stuff  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1288161/CHARLES-SALE-Ipswich-owner-Marcus-Evans-FIFA-ticket-probe.html
 11. Happy birthday, im sure your hangovers gone by now?
 12. Not sure if it''s worth noting, this guy does actually come across as a really nice guy, if it''s not to do with CUFCBut, he has proved why you should not mix business with pleasure sometimes. In affect, he''s just like a normal fan, who says things like a normal fan might to something like that when he''s had his favourite team slagged off, I''ve honestly heard worse!  the only problem is he''s in the spotlight in terms of stature, so he should of known to just read it, and either reply sensibly or just delete.I think it will affect his creditabilty but it should be layed to rest, he''s aplogised, move on..........
 13.

Ah well, sounds ok as defensive mids go. R.e. motivations: He comes to Leeds for the money or stays with you through loyalty. Nice little niche you''ve got yourselves there :-).
Now if that was a spurs fan he would say "He comes to us for ..how great we are and everyone wants to play for spurs or he....comes to us because everyone loves spurs" Spurs fans are the most arrogant s.o.b people you would ever meet!..Hate em
Ahem...... I resent that comment young man :PYou cannot tarnish all spurs supporters with the same brush, thats just ridiculous
 14. Every single defender makes mistakes unfortunately, thats part of being Human, from non-league right upto champions league gamesThere wont be a single Norwich defender who won''t make mistakes.  if I were you i''d worry about games in hand and also take satisfaction that your top of the league.   Doherty would walk into any team in this current league. The whole opinion of he wont cut it next season when you go up is currently irrelevant, your playing league one at the moment, not championship football. When you go up, will be as when Lambert shapes the team for the championship, and only he knows who can cut it, until then just enjoy walking away with the league your in
 15. Surely if your polite and not causing trouble on here then thats all that matters.I''m not a Leeds fan btw, and Norwich isn''t my first choice team either  (although it is my 2nd fav team) Just wondered if all people who arnt from Norwich etc are tarnished this way? I''ve always said nice things about NorwichA fair few Leeds fans should be disgraced with themselves today though, it makes you wonder if these same individuals do that at all away games? I didn''t go but i witnessed some of the trouble before Kick Off
