1.  I don''t know which is worse, this thread or yet another irrelevant attention seeking thread from the Wizard above...
 2.
...and what do you know about the English Defence League? What you have read in your mummys Daily mail no doubt!
Had he read it in his mummy''s Daily Mail, I''m sure The EDL would have been portrayed in quite a positive light!
 3.
Thats the St Pauli song that some are trying to get to catch on brendo.
The St Pauli song is awesome, when St Pauli do it. It just seems very tired when we do it, and indeed when any other team does it -  especially as the majority don''t know the words so it just becomes a dirge.
 4.

WE ARE THE MOST LOYALIST SUPPORTERS AROUND,
Does Ian Paisley know?
Love it!
 5. Have you lot all been getting forum tips from WACCOE? Canary in Bed, is it really unreasonable to be thinking that we could sustain the form that we have been in and finish the season in the top 6? Please try to respond with a modicum of decency...
 6.
I disagree, Lambert has got the best out of every single player since he''s been at Carrow Road and I would have liked to have seen him get the best out of Jon Otsemobor, as I think he could have been as good as Ashley Cole with the right manager and coaching staff.
You mek me larf

 8.
The Leeds game attracted a fair bit of interest. Rather like what is more enjoyable, New Years Eve or Xmas day To me Leeds was New Years Eve and the binners will be Xmas Day Of course everyone wants to get one over the binners - but as they slide further and further into debt it just doesn''t seem the same any more bit like having Xmas day with last years turkey, to be honest
Lol. You have some Ipswich issues, Not OCD but OID!!!
 9.

Says who? They forecasts i have seen say no/very little snow... (i look at accuweather, and in my previous experience they are more accurate than met office/BBC (BBC use Met office don''t they?)
All the major, local and Sky News say so, weather warnings the lot mate.
Not according to BBC Wiz http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/24 Anglia said last night that it might miss Norfolk altogether.
BBC Weather is horrendously inaccurate. XC Weather is usually the most accurate source for us joe public, according to some pilots I know. Says that it''ll be well above freezing, midday on Sunday.http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/norwich
 10.

Point is tho if Lambert gets a touchline ban 2moro then the results of that one game by Oliver will continue to punish us and could potentially have an impact on the game on Sunday. And Oliver gets no punishment whatsoever.
Lambert didn''t have to abuse Oliver in the tunnel. If he gets a touchline ban, which he probably deserves for berating the referee, it is no-one else''s fault but his own.Blaming Oliver for losing us two points- fair enough. Blaming him for us potentially losing Holt- also fair enough. Blaming him for Lambert''s lack of restraint- no, that is Lambert''s fault.
Spot on.
 11. I am going to ask a really stupid question, here goes: when someone is sent to the stands, is it stipulated as to how far from the dug-out the offender has to sit? I mean could Lambert sit in Row A, to one side of the dug-out, or is it more about his direct involement in giving instructions etc...?
 12.

Bryan Gunn will always be a legend to me. Not just for his keeping skills but also the bravery of the man (ie playing just days after his daughter passed away, not a dry eye in the barclay when he came out) and that he is a genuinely nice chap off the field. To say he is a leech is just laughable, he just wanted to manage the club he loved, who would''nt. Ok it ended sour but there is no question about the man himself. Wiz, i read your comments and respect your views but in this thread i think you have been very narrow minded and a bit of a prick.
Thats fine KC, but what else peed me of about Leechy, was how he pi*sed on Lamberts promotion success by claiming on Sky that it would havev happened anyway under his leadership.   How damn arrogant was that?
He did''nt actually say that he waould have got promoted though, did he Wiz? The game in question to which I believe that you are referring was the the Leeds v City game which was in the New Year. He was indirectly asked whether he felt that he would have turned Norwich around from the position he left us in to which he felt that he could have matched the league position that City were in at the time. Norwich were not even top at that point...
 13.

Too many to list mate.
Please, indulge us. [:)]
Unfortunately I don''t think his Cystal Ball can print spreadsheets, Morty!
 14.

Holt doesn''t have to right to avoid criticism, and today he deserved a lot. Yes, he worked hard but he didn''t win a single header that I can remember and didn''t threaten goal. Add to that an inability to hold the ball up and you pretty much have the perfect storm as far as a targetman having a stiker is concerned. His distribution was also significantly worse than usual, particularly in the second half, and this ridiculous obsession with not jumping for balls and then claiming a free kick is becoming really annoying, as is the number of times that a good move breaks down as his trudge back from an offside decision has been too slow yet again. Martin''s introduction suddenly posed questions for Burnley that hadn''t been there all afternoon, as he worked across the line and started to use his body strength to get in front of the centre back and stop him getting a clear jump at the ball. However, the outstanding striker on display was Patterson, whose movement and finishing were excellent. He could have been ours.....
Totally agree with Beausant and poor management from Lambert to pick him to sum it up briefly his performance over the last three home games "A SACK OF SH*T#!" - 3/10..........
Some of us were saying this 3 weeks ago [:)]
You certainly were CA. [Y] What annoys me is how Norwich fans think he is/was unable to recieve criticism. What makes him any better than Martin? Or Jackson? Yeah, he was sick last season but he''s been under par this season imo, so why protect him? He''s not been bad by any means, but nowhere near where he could be. If it was someone else playing like he has been he would have been shot down a while ago. Of course I am happy with his goals this season, as he has won us two games away from home for us (obviously other players played well that day). I would like to also add that I think mainly our crossing has been awful. There were a few good balls in yesterday from Korey, and Russell Martin, but not many at all. McNamee''s crossing was awful if I''m honest. So if we got some good balls into the box, Holt might do better I think. [y] [:S]
Yeah, blud, too tru... I hear yu. He was well sick, innit. Maybe our bredda has some beef from his b!tch and he''s got his mind on other tings, yu get me?! Brendo have you been getting elocution lessions from Anthony McNamee?
 15. He might have all the attributes that you have mentioned but passing is not one of them, I think he''d leave an irreplaceable hole in the defence if he were to be deployed further forward.
 16.

Have we actually had any strikers of any note that we have owned, not loaned during the Grant-Roeder regimes?
Purleeze!! You can''t have forgotten Jamie Cureton already............. ..........can you? [:$]
Aagh! Wiz''s Jizz Bag.. Good god, no, had''nt forgotten him but that does''nt stop me from trying...
 17.
Not sure about Grant Holt being out of his depth at Championship level. But if we think that it shows that our expectations have already reached unrealistic levels. Last time we were in the Championship the closest we had to a target man was sticking Darel Russell up there. Now he was out of his depth as a target man in the Championship. We have since been relegated and we are now back, stronger than we were, and with the best range of strikers we have had since Worthy was manager. Rome wasn''t built in a day!
Its amazing, the recovery of the human mind after such trauma; to think that one could forget Darrel Russell playing up front, as a striker. All the money spent on therapy has now been wasted now that you have reminded me again! God we were aweful then and, as you have stated we have come out of it much the better. Have we actually had any strikers of any note that we have owned, not loaned during the Grant-Roeder regimes?
 18. Yeah, I agree felt like a victory in the sense that I thought that Burnley were going to get away with it. They consistantly wasted time for the larger part of the second half and only received one card for it. I though that the ref was terrible... Retribution for timewasting - cheating northen monkeys!
 19.
if no holty....play jackson and johnson [y]
The same Oli Johnson who has shown us so much promise, that he has made about 10 appearances since he joined us a year ago, with no Championship experience? Yeah, good shout...
 20.
Just a bit of fun, but here is my take on who are our best options for each position and their current level: GK 1) Ruddy - low championship 2) Rudd - league 1 3) Steer - league 2 RB 1) Russell Martin - championship 2) George Francomb - league 2 LB 1) Drury - championship 2) Smith - low championship 3) Lappin - league 1 CB 1) Barnett - high championship 2) Ward - high championship 3) Nelson - low championship 4) Whitbread - high league 1 5) Askou - league 1 Wide midfield 1) Hoolahan - high championship 2) Surman - high championship 3) McNamee - championship 4) Lappin - high league 1 5) Daley - low league 1 6) Dawkin - league 2 Central midfield 1) Crofts - high championship 2) Smith - championship 3) Surman - championship 4) Lappin - low championship 5) Fox - low championship 6) Hughes - high league 1 7) Adeyemi - league 1 8) Gill - league 1 9) OTJ - league 1 Attacking midfield 1) Hoolahan - high championship 2) Surman - high champtionship 3) McNamee - high league 1 Target men 1) Holt - championship Centre forwards 1) Jackson - high championship 2) Martin - low championship 3) McDonald - league 1 4) Johnson - league 1 Based on this, in order to maintain momentum in this league over the course of a season I''d say we need: -a big strong striker -cover at RB -a keeper -Barnett I dont think we can afford to play any non-championship standard players if we are to mount a serious bid for promotion. What do you lot think?
You have''nt made up your mind on Lappin then?
 21.
If I remember correctly a couple of Norwich Fans were given a banning order for homophobic abuse just for chanting "Does you''re boyfriend know you''re here" to the Brighton Fans.
I used to sit next to them at the front of Block E of the Barclay. I moved to the back and they to Block A, it was part of their condition to stop them from being banned. It was the most riddiculous and over zealous policing I''ve ever heard of, the Judge also took it that way. After a good while of having the whole of the away section singing "Town full of inbreds, you''re just a town full of inbreds." The lads stood up and sung "Town full of faggots/rentboys, you''re just a town full of Rentboys". The judge accepted that their chanting was not homophobic per se, it was just in the spirit of Football banter.
 22. I don''t buy a lot of this; I don''t believe that we have massively over achieved. We are at the end of October and we are 1/4 of the way through the season, enough games have elapsed to show that we are genuine top 10 contenders, if not top 6. I agree with Nutty about the formation leading to tiredness for certain players due to what they are asked to do. That, will worry me slightly when the pitches deteriorate throughout winter. Don''t like to single out individual players, but will anyway!Stephen Smith was rather poor and certainly did not improve as the game went on...
 23. Agreed; did''nt Peter Grant hit out at the city fans in a similar vein 2 or 3 games after he joined? He blamed us for the defeat, for not "carrying the team over the line", I think it was against Hull. I thought his days were numbered then - shame it happened to be 365+ days later....!
 24. Yes, that would be me! Looked up hypocrisy, yet? No, how about ''gang mentality''? No, oh well ran back to you little clique, I am sure someone there is more erudite than you - maybe they can help you with your next response...
 25.

From page 2 of this thread... ''Carlos Kickaballs'' was the rather derogatory term used by Alan Sugar some years ago when he was chairman of Spurs to describe the somewhat mercenary type of foreign player he felt pressured into financing for his team to be competitive. Read this (and this is 8 years ago): http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/2302221.stm Bly doesn''t help himself - he''s always obscure, and he''s about 6 months early with this thread, but there is a discussion to be had if you can look further than it''s that mad idiot again...
bang on Sir! i think you''ve got to read between the "mad" lines from BBB but there is some interesting comments to be found... ...much more interesting than the one line cheap slurs from Morty and his bell-end pals.
Yawn. I have shi t more interesting things than you pal.
you''ve had enough practice on here pal... ...you should try stepping away from the pc for a bit - its a big world out there fella! go on, grow a pair and go outside...and stay away from this site for a day or 2, you''ll give quite a few people a good rest.
Oh and while we''re on the subject, do you realise just how pathetic it is that because we disagreed on something gawd knows when, that you feel the need to having your lame little digs on every occasion? You keep digging and I''ll keep calling you a co ck, thats how its going to work, you let me know when you get bored of it.
I''ve just never liked bullies...I should learn to ignore/forgive them but I can''t. You''re a bully. ...and a bell-end obviously.
Wow, how E-hard are you? If you want to meet up next time you''re up in Norwich for a match let me know. [:)]
I am getting an overwhelming sense of Deja vu here Morty...!! You obviously have disagreed with a number of people on here. That''s fine, its a forum people will have alternative views but for Christ''s sake stop being so overwhelmingly paranoid, fella. It''s not all about YOU. "We''ve disagreed before and now you hate me and continue to have a pop at me, waaah, waaah" I appreciate that there is a little ''touche'' element to this statement but it appears to me that you very much need to learn the definition of hypocrisy.
