1. I work in London too mate, so 7pm straight from the station is good for me. I''ll PM the final details to all on this thread plus a couple of others I know....
2.
Hi Chelmsford Yella, Great idea, but next few weeks I will be a dad for the first time, due date the 20th July. I will not be about for it but I did post on here about Sky games etc and getting a crowd of us together for those games. Keep me in mind for other meets and PM me your number or email address and I will catch up with you in the season. Ian D
Great news Ian - we''ll have one for you mate. I''ll stay in touch. All,I''m looking at Friday 22nd at The Wheatsheaf on the corner of New Street and Victoria Road. Hopefully this is a good enough central point for many of us to catch the games through the season. How does that sound?NeilPS I can''t do Wigan due to hols but hope to get to a few at least home and away.... is anyone doing Palace, Southend or Billericay?
3. If anyone wants to get together in Chelmsford in the next few weeks for beers (maybe a curry) and Premier League chat, let me know and I''ll arrange. Cheers Neil
4. Glad to see this thread too...Massive City fan here in Springfield who doesn''t get to so many games anymore. I was in the Tulip for the Pompey game with a few other lads and even the landlord is City too!Would love to meet up with you guys wherever in Chelmsford you''re watching. I''ve just joined the FB group.OTBC Neil
5. I manage the MoD''s photographic archive at www.defenceimagedatabase.mod.uk There are some fantastic images to be seen. If any of the ex or current service guys want to use any of these great pictures for personal or work use, drop me a line via the contact details page.
6. 13 years in the Senior Service til 1998 - served on HMS Bristol, Ark Royal, Invincible, Westminster, Southampton & Coventry. Great times. Can vouch for Gus and the F2C lads - beer, City and dits. It doesn''t get much better.
