1. Easy to slate the decision with slow motion replays - I was at the game and in real time, real speed it looked to me like Sainz kicked out at Howson. Admittedly we were at the other end so not the clearest view but Beckham 98 came to mind straight away. Immediately thought he was in trouble and the reaction of our players seemed to confirm what happened. Ultimately it's a very soft red but I doubt it will be overturned as the replay can still be interpreted the way the referee did at the time.
2. I remember Sol Campbell getting destroyed by West Ham on telly and he had a bit of a breakdown afterwards
3. I was deeply uncomfortable with the idea of an app on my phone allowing the government access to my movements. I'd reluctantly decided to download it for the greater good as it would be hugely important in contact tracing. Presumably they will say that any data gathered would be for the sole purpose of contact tracing and would not be sold etc. However given how the government have outright lied to us and twisted previous rules to their favour the past few days I have changed my mind and can no longer trust them so will not be downloading it despite its obvious importance. If Cummings is sacked and a very public apology made by PM and the cabinet I might reconsider.
4. I'd imagine any such challenge would have to come from within the Championship. In particular I'd expect 3rd place Fulham, who still have to play both Leeds and West Brom, would have something to say about the top 2 being promoted on PPG. We could maybe argue it given the FA have set a precedent already in non-league by finishing the season on PPG and stating promotion and relegation cannot happen in these circumstances. Additionally, it will be interesting to see what the EFL decide to do with relegation from league 2. This is the most comparable situation and if they decide not to relegate Stevenage out of the league on PPG they cannot expect promotion to the Premier League on PPG either.
5. He is spot on about the Championship having to finish for promotion to happen. I've seen so much on social media saying "promote Leeds and West Brom" as if they are as far clear at the top as Liverpool are. They are 7/6 points clear with 9 games left to play and both still have to play 3rd place Fulham. It is nowhere near decided!
6. Away membership scheme. Furloughed non-playing staff without discussing a pay cut/deferral with the players. Will definitely be asking for a refund for any missed/cancelled games.
7. Can't believe the response of most people here to this. I think it's completely unethical for the club to be using this scheme. I know they are allowed to use the scheme but asking for the government to pay 80% of wages for non-playing staff whilst the club (as far as we know) continues to pay the players thousands of pounds in full is disgraceful. Should ask the players to take a temporary pay cut/deferral and use that money to pay non-playing staff. I know in Premier League terms we are skint but compared to the rest of the football league we are well off.
8. Sorry but that argument is rubbish. The Premier League has capped away ticket prices at £30 for a few seasons now. The fans would have had that saving anyway so it is still an extra £50
9. -----------------Ruddy-------------------- Whits---Martin---Bassong---Olsson ------------------Tettey-------------------- --------Howson----------Dorrans------ ---------------Hoolahan------------------ ---------Jerome--------Hooper--------- Johnson has looked a bit tired to me past few games, not surprising given his recent superhuman efforts
10.
Don''t even get me started. Go to the MLS, NFL, NBA or any north american teams site and the range and quality is superb. We have always been shortsighted with our store, as are most english teams. No question the club could get a great deal more money in if this area had the foresight to work with those who provide to the US sports and have a range here in the UK and NCFC
agreed, check it all out. think every club in the country will be miles behind though

12.
The Season Ticket Waiting List is basicly for everyone who didn''t want one when we we''re only in League 1, and are now jumping on the bandwagon. I know at least 4 people who are on the list so they can see ''their team and some other big teams''.
Or for those of us who have been at uni for 4 years and are moving back to the fine city in the summer
13.
LOL Gayest song in football ???
They also have this beauty...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgS1RFk1cU8
14. Too many to mention, but "lawro" is probably the worst Favourite is Desailly, shame he''s at ITV for this world cup and not the beeb
15. find it quite hard to argue with that team tbh...
16. 1 every time I''d watch Norwich in any division, England winning a world cup is a once in a lifetime thing, imagine the celebrations!
17. This whole thing is just pathetic... Don''t agree with what Cowling said but what was the Norwich fan doing sending that e-mail in the first place?
18. I was at the Palace Wednesday match (mate a massive Wednesdayite with a spare ticket) and I''d like to say a few things: 1. The majority of palace fans did just want to celebrate with their players, however 4 or 5 ran all the way infront of the stand I was in waving scarfs and flags at the wednesdayites. 2. Despite a row of stewards and a row of riot police infront of the palace fans, they didn''t seem to make much of an effort stop any of them run on the pitch I''m not trying to condone what the wednesday fans who went on the pitch did, as it was disgraceful. However, there was no sign of any trouble until the palace fans went onto the pitch. It doesn''t take much common sense that celebrating infront of 32000 upset fans is not the best idea.
19. Wes just ahead of Holt and Forster for me. So much poorer without him in the side
20. Well I quite rate him, great to come off the bench, pace gives defenders something else to think about. Done well in the games I''ve seen him in, Walsall, did brilliantly (and made a mug of Rose) to set up our third against Stockport, good for him!
21. Always quite liked him, but as people said very frustrating. Unless I''m imagining things didnt he score a cracking header against west brom from the edge of the box a few years back ?
22. I shall be going, only half an hour or so on the train from manchester, can''t wait! Think we''ll do well to get anything from the game though
23. Surprised we were first tbh, Leeds Huddersfield was obviously the biggest game in the league yesterday and a bit more action lol
24. quite liked boundaary park and it was as cold as everyone said it would be, esp in the concourse. Get atmosphere like you said too
25. Pretty confident, if we negotiate March pretty much unscathed (still in the top 2) then I''ll be very confident of promotion
