That was 'sharp' getting in so quickly.

I'm not sure relegation will see them sink without trace, if anything it might rekindle their mojo as it were. I'd be happier to see them survive, and struggle against relegation every year, increasing the debt, while their support diminishes further. Death by a thousand cuts, if you like.

A point I made earlier ICF, you put it much better than I could and with the stats to back it up, it's as I said, we're better away and have nothing to fear from Albion or Leeds.

The messages at the end show what 1p5wich fans thought of him. Laughably, Evans states that it gives him an opportunity to work more closely to the people involved in the everyday running of the Club.... but you don't know anything about football.

Time to end the league cup?
splendidrush replied to Darth Canary1's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Not sure I agree with that Vw, beating 1p5wich over 2 legs, my idea of heaven. -

Time to end the league cup?
splendidrush replied to Darth Canary1's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
...not good for football though is it. What happened to competition? Disrespectful as well, I remember the All Blacks beating someone 97-0 or something a few years ago. They stopped scoring before it got to 100. Man C could have played exhibition football after they were 5 up still qualified comfortably and allowed Burton some self respect. -
...oh, don't worry, Lambert is quite capable of seeing this through without our help.

Do you think Godfrey is going to get a little p'd off being a stop gap for everyone else in the Team. Given his apparent talent, when do you think it's likely that he'll get a regular starting spot?

9-0. Nobody wants to see that. -
Yeah, I'd hate to have Leed's problems.

... but what if Spurs or a.n.other come in for Aarons? Would he be back in favour?

The football authorities seem reluctant to bring this individual into line, of course doing nothing sends a message to others that they can go rogue without penalties.

Like the fella Remy the other day, linked, but not linked.

1p5wich are in the market for our cast-offs, and if Pilkington won't go he'd be ideal.

1.85 points for away games is more impressive than 1.92 at home, if we're going to average 2 points per game I would suggest that we need to improve our home form.

'Personal reasons ' like they're a sh*te Club that's only heading one way. That's my personal opinion. -

The Lambert Diaries Part 3.
splendidrush replied to TIL 1010's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Tim Cahill bought a Bugatti Veyron whilst at Everton.... I mean, where in Liverpool, would it be safe to park such a car? -
Can't argue with that ldc, I think he was immense for us in our promotion season under Lambert, the first season in the Premiership exposed him to more work against better strikers and he clearly struggled. Not a criticism, just an observation.

O/T Stoke sack Gary Rowett
splendidrush replied to Icecream Snow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
...liked that Fenway, I think Stoke and their fans have that air of entitlement that comes from being a Premier League team last season and with Rowett spending big, would expect to be in the playoffs at least. Apparently his football isn't great to watch either. -
I feel we're a better away side than at home, I'd be happier if Leitner was available but I think we can get a result at both Albion and Leeds.
