  1. Wow, that looks nasty, more to the point it looks avoidable, he actually looks down to see where Oli is.
  2. I'm thinking that the atmosphere might help us. This could go either way but I've got everything crossed.
  3. I think Oli could improve Reading, they only need someone who can score goals and they seem best placed to clock up some points. 1p5wich are woeful, even their own fans don't feel confident about their chances.
  4. Just watched highlights of your home game with Hull, as a Season Ticket holder, no doubt you were there. If I were being polite I'd say you were bang average, that's not saying you will or won't win, just that, like every other Team in this League, have an off day and you're there for the taking.
  5. It is a new post, and the first two mention a 'missed opportunity ' which I think means they're not too happy.
  6. The difference between the two sides at the moment is your 3-0 win at CR, so, while your record against the top six may be better, we are more consistent against the other 17. We've only got Boro to play after Saturday, every point you accumulate from those top six sides helps us achieve a top two finish.
  7. Don't know much about him but apparently he's a Goalkeeper at U-19s on a six month contract. Training with the first Team and he'll probably be English 😉 The reason I mentioned this is because we've nicked him from 1p5wich, I've no idea if he's any good or if we'll extend his contract going forward but they're not too happy on TWTD which in my book makes this a very good day.
  8. As one of our coaches said recently, if your youth and reserve Teams are winning, you're doing something wrong. The idea is to increase their development, step them up a year, send them out on loan to get gametime, see how they respond in a different environment. No point sitting in the reserves every week, waiting for a chance that may never come. Look at 1p5wich, top in their reserve League, yet their first Team is a shower of sh*te. Better for those kids to be getting games now in preparation for next season but they'll probably be sold at a pittance while more journeymen and freebies arrive. As for Power? Great start, keep it going.
  9. It's incredible, with the internet available to all, you'd think they would have discovered Norwich by now. I often wonder, if they're reluctant to talk about us because we're not Man U or Liverpool, or they've got a spare page to fill and we'll do as a last resort. There's no secret to what's going on here, we've been playing well for months, sorry for the rant but it annoys me that the media jump on board after it becomes apparent that we might have to be taken seriously. The comments about 'Farke life ' are just one step above dredging up the 'let's be having you ' quip they normally find room for.... rant over.
  10. I'm more of a Slipknot man myself.
  11. I did say 'from memory ' because it was an article I read at the time, it wasn't something I made up. It must also be pointed out that if you're going to call yourself Observant, there are some criteria that goes with it.... he probably won't be back 😉
  12. I think Bill was calling Bielsa a genius. 😁
  13. I'm wondering, if the players who got them to the top suddenly start getting replaced, whether it'll unsettle them. Of course the ones coming back have to get up to speed, form may be an issue, at this stage of the season consistency will be key.
  14. I'm not sure it will be us, but I'm convinced Leeds will fall away. It's just a question of when.
  15. Not really sure what you were expecting, DF said at the start of the month that while they were looking, he was quite happy to go with what he has. We've brought in potentially, a left sided player to 'help' should Lewis get injured with a view to next season. Several youngsters have also been signed adding potential down the line. Added to the fact that we don't have any money and the desire not to introduce an unknown quantity into the dressing room, I'm wondering what, or who you were hoping for.
  16. So over the entire season you topped us by 3,400. We have a 27,000 seat Stadium, your final home attendance was around 35,000,which means up until the final game we were around 4,500 up. No delusion here, just basic maths. Oh, and welcome to the site, unfortunately it did'nt take long for you to fall into the nasty habits prevalent on other sites you may be familiar with.
  17. Brought in to replace Harvey Barnes, big shoes to fill.
  18. From memory, I believe we had the best average attendance in League 1 that season.... up until the final game when 35,000 of them showed up to watch their Team finish a distant second. Glory boys personified. Still, they'd be an ideal fit for the Premiership.
  19. ...does that mean he has to wear a bullseye on his back and there'll be snipers in the crowd?
