It must be the Messiah

More chance of it being Mustafa.. As in you Mustafa a serious think before posting more nonsense like this. -
It's almost a year since...
AndyCanary replied to Michael Starr's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t think so. Chris Martin is a decent but Hughton had a habit of taking decent strikers and erasing their ability to score. Korey wouldn''t have got in front of Fer and Tettey and wasn''t previously getting in front of Howson and Johnson. The others weren''t BPL standard. -

The great Norwich manager mystery

CanaryAndy writes at the PinkUn message board and thinks that this is a very TLDR post. -
McNally's one week deadline.

It''s a good point OP but I think DM probably wanted to reassure and appease the fans that the matter was underway and of high importance. I don''t doubt for a second that should something change even within the last minutes and a better candidate should become available that DM would have no hesitation in delaying the process. -
How many of you care about Ipswich?
AndyCanary replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I used to care about them a lot more.. I don''t at all now.. Whether it''s because I''ve matured or because we''ve distanced ourselves from them in terms of the level of club we are I don''t know. I pity their fans who spend all their time following us. -
Wasn''t there some shenanigans after Lambert left where we were holding Karsa and Culverhouse to ransom with Villa? I''m pretty sure he wouldn''t have been a content contract hostage..

Anyone who has played Football Manager knows that the squad can not only help with recommendations but also it improved their morale :D

What has this forum got right?
AndyCanary replied to AndyCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think most people thought that passed early March the board were very unlikely to make a managerial change. So it was a surprise. At least for me. -
Players I want to see the back of:
AndyCanary replied to Thecanaryfan's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Elmander. Johnson will be good in the Champ. RVW is too much of a sunken cost to cut our losses at this point. Martin is a good RB at champ level. I''d like to see Bassong gone. Following your willy name thing ''Bassdong''. -

I don''t think the forum were the first to reveal that fella''s bellend''ism. I remember seeing a guy come on saying the Hughton would not be manager at the end of the season. -
I was wondering to myself what things have been correctly predicted/revealed on this forum? There is obviously lots of opinion, speculation and so called insider revelations. They are of course the ingredients of a successful fan forum. What instances stick out for you?

Great post, thoroughly enjoyed it and would read again.

I think if Norwich was further North then it would be a possibility. I don''t think the board will think of Grant as fondly as we do. After all the contract nonsense.

Pressure and performance
AndyCanary replied to GrantsMoustache's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Good post. I think RVW is a really good guy and it shows in his personality. At the start of the season against Hull there was a point where he chested the ball to pass in front of goal instead of shooting. I got the impression then he was concerned about how he was going to be perceived if he didn''t score.. Hooper on the other hand I don''t get the same impression with. I don''t think he was as affected as RVW, but it just goes to show that he was given little opportunity thanks to the tactics. -

Malky is 1 to 2 on.. As in you put £2 on and get £3 back not 2 to 1 on which would be £1 on and £3 back :) Means he''s more likely to be coming here. -

I remember posting on this forum a few years ago and getting totally fed up at people starting duplicate posts.. I gave up ranting at people about it but I always remember Morty getting similarly annoyed. Nice to see you still fighting that losing battle Morty sir :) -
I am sure he''s eligable if they wanted to play him, however, that''s incredibly unlikely considering he''s probably been off on his jollies already and hasn''t been a part of the Wigan setup for months. I doubt whatever happens there will be much chance of him scoring against us next season :)
-
Glad he gave something back. He is a credit to this club. He may not be our best player but at least he''s consistent and committed.

David Mcnally has my confidence vote

Do you think he would have been our manager this season if we''d finished 17th last season? -

I doubt that any one could have predicted that our striker signings would have failed the way they did. You could argue that we should have brought in at least one tried and tested Premier League striker, a Shane Long, Peter Crouch esque'' player. Imagine the wrath the board would be under if we tried to bring in Hooper and RVW and were seen to have not spent the cash in failing to do so... It''s clear where the blame lies for this season and that is with Hughton - Norwich in the Premier League must be one of the 50 best jobs in club football in the world. Hughton isn''t even in the top 500 managers.
