  1. Many thanks. Previous visits to the Emirates has been by train but have a problem this time with last train to Downham M hence the need for the coach.
  2. Hi - can anyone tell me how far a walk it is from the coaches car parking to the Emirates. I have a chest infection and struggling to walk far especially if an incline is involved. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  3. As a long suffering Scottish fan the best quote so far is "Its the hope that kills you" Best man for the job was the one who had the job. Best win ratio of any manager since the sixties who had more than 12 matches in charge.
  4. When I was abroad in February I used a website/App to listen to Radio Norfolk commentary of the Newcastle match. Can''t now remember the one it was - any ideas? Thanks.
  5. From a personal point of view I''m gutted I won''t see Porte, Thomas, Sagan and Cav on the Galibier next week. Counting the days 🚴
  6. Times report we are interested as out of contract. Thoughts?
  7. What a lovely gesture. He was in the dressing room when both my children had mascot days and he was a complete gentlemen with impeccable manners. Contrast Bradley Johnson who couldn''t be ar*** to take off his headphones.
  8. Since Ruddy came back in to the team he''s been celebrating every goal like it was the play-off final - even the seventh goal against Reading - and been much more vocal with his defenders. I thought he might make a decent shout for captain next season. No questioning his commitment for me. Being sold purely to free up his wages.
  9. What did the bloke say for Butler to cut him off and say "there''s no place for that on Canary Call" Wasn''t paying attention.
  10. BBC website- the impact James Maddison has made in his short time at Pittodrie is extremely impressive. The teenager tormented St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson throughout the night with a flurry of touches that at times were embarrassing for the Saints player. At 19 years of age his touch on the ball was immense and his game awareness was a delight to watch. His loan spell from Norwich City is until January, but Dons fans can be reassured boss Derek Mcinnes will be looking to extend that until the end of the season.
  11. Josh''s reaction to Jerome giving him earache about shooting rather than cutting back for a tap in - F@(£ off. Nothing like respecting the senior players 😂
  12. BBC Website. Must be freeing up wages for someone big?
  13. From the BBC Rumour Column - Norwich City boss Alex Neil has confirmed the club are closing in on the signing of Benfica forward Nelson Oliveira, 25, while deals for two other forwards - West Ham''s Enner Valencia, 26, and Anderlecht''s Stefano Okaka, 27 - are also possible. (HITC)
  14. Same here, two ticks, EDP logo but no messages. Thankfully I use the BBC service as well. No idea how to sort.
  15. I''ve gone on holiday with my season tickets which I meant to give to some friends to use while we were away. Will the ticket office print tickets for them to collect and use or any other suggestions welcome. Thanks. I
  16. Posted at 16:39 Lewis Grabban, what have you done! Clean through, lovely pass into his feet, one touch, set yourself, now finish - WIDE!
  17. If Grabban turns out to be the player we suspect and Afobe bombs like many before him then they won''t be much of an asset and maybe even a financial liability after relegation.
  18. Not quite the fairytale story Bournemouth is made out to be.
  19. At the time of last weeks game and to be fair was before our dealings this week but from July 2014 the relative spends of us and Bournemouth, Bournemouth 38 million Norwich - 13 million Difference 51 million Makes a difference having an owner with money to throw at the club.
  20. Having watched the 14/15 season review DVD at the weekend it struck me that there were many occasions even then when he could have been dropped. That form has simply continued to this season.
  21. BBC Gossip Column - Norwich City are targeting a loan move for Juventus'' Italy forward Simone Zaza, 24. (Tuttosport, via Gazetta World)
  22. To much to post full article "I GO into this office. I see this young, bald guy. Serious face. As weird as it sounds, I already kind of liked him.” A smile spreads as Sebastien Bassong recalls his first meeting with Alex Neil. “I like tough people,” Bassong explains. “And I’m an observer. I don’t know him; he doesn’t know me. We just look at each other. Straight in the eye. For a long time.” Neil spoke, “and the way he was talking, even if it was a bit . . . threatening . . . that’s what made me think, ‘I can get along with this guy.’ Because there’s no bull****.” This was January and Bassong was back from a loan at Watford, having left after a fallout with Neil Adams, the previous Norwich manager. But their new one said: “I don’t know what went on before and I don’t give a ****. You’re a good player. Do your job and you’ll play.’” Threatening? There was one more thing. “Before you go, Seb.” “Yes boss?” “If you **** around I’ll break your balls.” Bassong left, laughing gently to himself. “Ah, gosh, that was good, I thought. He’s a man,” the defender says. End of article At Norwich’s promotion party, while standing with his partner, Bassong suddenly saw his boss pointing and crossing the room towards him. Neil put an arm round his neck and drew him in. What he said was “mostly Scottish” but Bassong got the gist: well done. And then there was one more thing: “But remember. I’ll break your balls.” Speaks highly of Norwich as well.
