  1. Hmmm, in an ideal world that formation would kill most teams I think. The trouble is, I still think that this leaves us very narrow defensively and also to some extent going forward. I thought this showed up against Swansea away. Our full backs were exposed and our attack was very central going forward. Friday it worked vs Forest because we went wider with Hoolahan and also surman drifting out there too. So, I think we''d need to keep 2 up top for sure. Just my thoughts.
  2. The fact is says we brought him from Swansea should be enough to put people off the accuracy of this article.
  3. Know what you mean! Must''ve had some injuries that day! Either that or the team of the week can''t handle a 5-3-2 formation?
  4. If you have a copy of Monday''s sun, you will see, it definitely is! Also, he doesn''t seem to be listed on Rochester Rhino''s Roster any more!
  5. Can someone post the pic, can;t get on twitter at work!
  6. Anyone know what the current Grant Holt one is being sung re: hat-trick vs Ipswich? I can''t quite make it out!
  7. To me this can be taken one of two ways. a) There''s nothing to add to the club statement as it says everything needed, club have refused permission, move on. OR! b) Nothing to add because if he does then it will effect his negotiations with Burnley. The only worrying thing with all this is this is what happened when we got him in the First place. We were in a worse position than Colchester at the time and many could''ve seen it as a backward step! We approached, got rebuffed, he quit Colchester and we got him. Money talks at the end of the day.
  8. Any chance the Edworthy pic that accompanies the story can be changed for an actual picture of him rather than one of Jim Brennan!?
  9. Yeah, hopefully he may stay longer if needed.
  10. Apologies if this is old, but i''ve only just read this! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/3165670.stm
