For once it is nice to get some business done at the start of the window. This then allows us time to move people out now and bring in others if required, rather than a last minute rush.

1-0 after Exeter build a wall of snow in thier goal for each half and place 11 men and 3 snow men behind the ball all game. Nelson to score with an overhead kick. Darrell Russel will be wearing a short sleeve shirt, but will also have gloves, bobble hat and a Tom Baker Dr Who style scraf on.

Says alot about their ''great'' fans when they get more for a U19 England game than their record crowd. No doubt there we about 2000 Leeds fans in the biggest league crowd anyway. They would probably get more then most weeks if they held a car boot sale on the pitch. Can''t wait for a late Norwich goal and see 3/4 of the stadium go up to celebrate.  

A good gesture for the coach refund. Considering how much out of pocket the club are already with their own travel and accommodation costs for the team and staff. I for one don''t agree they should foot the bill for car travel also. Although the ref called it off; the reason it didn''t happen was purely down to the Walsall facilities. I read they had frost covers on since their last game - obviously they were good! (Looks like they bought the ones that caused frost rather than ones that stopped it!) I heard some people slag off Lambert for his pressure for the call off. For me, if he thought there was any risk to any of our players then good call. A trip to Walsall for a called off game is inconvenient, another season in League 1 is a disaster.

Hull have also held of submitting their accounts. Our reason is likely to be around debt restructure. We probably don''t want to test our debt covenant at present.  

Was a good game from two teams who shouldn''t be at this level. First half Saint were on top for two reasons.1) two men on Hoolahoop when he got the ball and 2) played a flat midfield that streached our diamond. Both goals came from Hoolahoop giving the ball away, but it was just one of those days for him rather than a bad game for him. All in all good point. I went with some friends from the south and so in with the Saints fans - best team they have played was their thoughts and most thought we would win in the the 2nd half.

Saints have about 5000 spare. Local newspaper article was getting all excitied about the gate going past 21,000!!  Unfortunately as I am going with some mates from the area, I will be in the wrong end.

Hope so - going to the game with a load of local mates, so will be in with the home fans. Really want a good result otherwise I am in for it all day.

From FA website - if a player does accumulate the permitted number of cautions prior to a cut-off date then the suspension will now be automatic as opposed to the current seven day rule. Apparently it changed at the start of this season.

Just noticed that we are now top scores in League 1 with 23 goals. Looking back at last year it took us nearly half a season to score that many. Also good to see so many different scores about. Seems ''Own Goals'' may not make out top 3 scorers this year. Shame was one of our better strikers last season.

For £300,000 a year into the NCFC kitty I for one am not bothered about us not being mentioned.

Great news he must by 5th or 6th choice striker. Get him away to League 2 for 1 or 3 month loan with 24hr recall and see how he develops. He needs games undre his belt and I think this is unlikely with the current squad. He can only come back a better player with some exposure/experience in lower league footy. I wouldn''t be surprised to see 5 or more of our squad out on loan in the next month or so.

I watch Theo warm up prior to Brentford and he body shape and positioning during the shooting practice was all wrong. I really don''t understand how he ended up with us.

Having grown up in Canada and being NC brainwashed by the old man, my only other choices would be a now defunct ''soccer'' team or watching early morning NHL games of the Edmonton Oilers.
