Carrow Road closures after matches
Titch replied to Lambert is King's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You are wrong and misguided in just about everything you say. 1) The Club paid in previous seasons and has been making "contributions" for many years. 2) It''s nonsense to expect to be able to arrive at and leave matches in a safe manner is it? 3) I personally have witnessed a number of near misses involving cars, buses and HGVs. 4) The Club (as an Events Organiser) has a statutory obligation to produce a Traffic Management Plan and, to the best of my knowledge, has not done so this season. 5) I wasn''t aware that anyone had been incensed by playing a game with a sprinkling of snow. As far as I am concerned, a match should be played whenever possible, particularly at Colchester when I am getting soaked to the skin! 6) I am reasonably confident that I am able to remain safe as I have seen some of the potential dangers and do what I can to avoid them. However, complacency often plays a major part in tragic events and I see little point in changing procedures that have operated successfully for countless years merely to save a few pounds. I have been advised that the saving the Club has made is sufficient to pay the wages of ONE FIRST TEAM PLAYER FOR ONE WEEK.
think most of us will believe the statement from the canaries site over what you''ve written :P -
Dont usually do this but here is my ratings..

Why is Theoklitos still here for?
Titch replied to ncfc4life's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
im guessing hes here because the previous manager wanted his ''number one'' target so much he paid him a wage well beyond what he''s worth and has ever earned beforewould u leave a well paid job if you were paid to do something your not doing, and didnt get the sack for it? lol -

Show your support for Norwich City's promotion push
Titch replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
cant wait to see the atmosphere once it''s finally confirmed that we are promoted :) -
He was definitely a confidence player. When he was good you knew about it, but there was never the consistancy there to ever make him a great player unfortunately.

Can I ask.... since the boo boys have stupidly started to come out now... Would fans be happy with 2nd?Personally I wouldn''t care how we got up, long as we do, and I will be chuffed to bits for the players/fans/manager/everyone involved :) I honestly think we have more players at Norwich who can cope well in the championship than people think.

hmm that post came out weird!it was ment to say I thought it was a thigh injury, as per the injury report before the Oldham game
-
I thought it was a thigh injury?Defenders Jens Berthel Askou (foot), Adam Drury (thigh) and Zak Whitbread (calf) remain sidelined along with striker Cody McDonald (thigh)that was an injury report from the Oldham game
-
It does seem he is a little fed up with greedy supporters who want 3-0 or 4-0 wins every single weekend now.Like he pointed out, it''s 2 defeats in 18 and we are TOP OF THE LEAGUEwhy isnt everyone more happy?

Boring Stats re: Promotion
Titch replied to Stephen Frys Evil Twin's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Fuzzy logic posts- " No team in the top 5 is outplaying other teams week in/week out at the moment and considering Millwall was our first loss since Leeds, far from relegation form my friend " eh ? Who said we were in relegation form ? Did I ? I think you need to read my post again, or perhaps again after that. Or simply We have so many points at this stage in the season that we could play so badly (ie relegation form) over the next 15 games and still qualify for automatic promotion. Even simpler - we get 17 points from our next 15 games and still COULD go up automatically - that, if averaged over a season, would see us relegated Even more simple - we could play as badly as the binners and yet still be automatically promoted
No need to get sacarstic/narky :) -

Titch replied to Stephen Frys Evil Twin's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
it''s quite a measure of where we are that we could play the next 15 games in relegation form and yet still automatically go up ! We need now to be looking for 100 points and 100 hundred goals Holt to be top club scorer and any other record going. There will never be another season like this for quite a while so lets dream all we can Because that is what being a football fan is all about.
No team in the top 5 is outplaying other teams week in/week out at the moment and considering Millwall was our first loss since Leeds, far from relegation form my friend :)Not playing that well at the moment, sure, but all teams go through it - in the last 18 games we are still one of the best teams in the country stats wise.Championship here we come again :) -

Afternoon everyone :)glad to see we are already one up! -
http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1926680,00.htmlBest news you''ve heard all week? All that worrying for nothing :)Next headache, will they be silly enough to sell the ground...

Considering the "Dire" financial situation with the club, I''m suprised we signed anyone and I''m delighted with 4 (hopefully!)I still think there will be more.. We were too used to Doncaster and co''s lack of ambition.McNally/Lambert I expect to get their men and if we go up this year I expect the board to fully back them again next seasonThe thing is... The rebate issue. If we knew then, what we know now, would more people of done it? I think they would- but how were we to know, especially when we are so used to being let down. It''s the first time in a very long time I am fully behind the club, it''s actually a nice feeling :)
-
Hopefully tomorrow will be a double signing, cant wait to see how good Whitbread is for Norwich, heard good things about him. The other guy (like all new players) I will keep an open mind aboutI still have a feeling the transfers won''t stop at just 4 for Norwich either :)

Re: The truth is out there someone
Titch replied to Graham Humphrey's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You can imagine it now. Lambert saying to the lad or lads - "Sorry lads, I cannot be at training today because I''ve got a meeting with the Burnley lot but we will all pick it up tomorrow."Things like that would be kept extremely confidential, even players wouldn''t know, business is business, no matter what the game/company. -
Hendo signs for Colchester
Titch replied to canary cherub 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Does he still look like he''s a 14 year old kid?? I never rated him as a Norwich player but I suppose he''s good enough for Colchester :)
