  2. Green and Yellow Remember Ryan Wristbands - to support the Meningitis Research Foundation. Facebook Event - https://www.facebook.com/events/425653600832125/ Ryan Sweatman was cruelly taken by meningitis on January 6 2012 aged just 19. ''Ryan was born in 1992 to Gina and Paul, Danny, Carly and Holly. We now believe he was sent to us to ease the pain of losing his brother Joe, also cruelly to meningitis. Unfortunately, we now know he was only lent to us.'' One of the greatest loves of Ryan’s life was football and Norwich City in particular. It is therefore fitting that the wristbands are yellow and green. The wristbands have #rememberryan and meningitis research foundation debossed on them. All of the proceeds from selling the wristbands will be to aid the work of Meningitis Research Foundation in combating meningitis and septicaemia. 3. A huge thank you to everyone who was able to attend today''s Memorial Match for Ryan this afternoon. I am so very, very proud of what Ryan has achieved in his short life and these fundraising events will continue to highlight what an amazing person he was. The day was captured by ITV Anglia News www.itv.com/news/anglia/2012-05-23/carrow-road-match-in-memory-of-norwich-city-fan/ It really highlights what we are so keen to achieve...raise awareness of meningitis and raise as much money as possible for The Meningitis Research Foundation to one day find a vaccination to eradicate this disease. Although we are still counting, it looks like we have managed to raise more than £5000 from the day, which is a great achievement and I can only thank you all again for your support with this - family, friends, supporters and players. I would also like to thank Norwich City Football Club, Phil Lythgoe, Darren Huckerby, Paul McVeigh, Shirley and the The Meningitis Research Foundation team, Sam Meyer who organised the PA system and to the staff at Aylsham High School for organising 200 students to attend today wearing the most incredible yellow rememberryan t-shirts. One final thank you to my family who continue to be my rock and are the most amazing and strongest family I could have ever wish for. Please keep the #rememberryan going whether it''s a single donation or your own fundraising event. Please let my family and I know what you are planning as it continues to give us strength. You can also add your own fundraising event to Ryan''s Remembrance Fund by ''Making a page for Ryan'' at www.justgiving.com/remember/3487/Ryan-Sweatman The next big event for Ryan is my lovely sister''s Dance Show in Norwich...please visit www.facebook.com/events/217468351682422/ as the tickets are going quickly. 6. Remembering Ryan @ Carrow Road - £5 donation on entry - Free Parking Ryan Sweatman was cruelly taken by meningitis on January 6 2012 aged just 19. A huge thank you for everyone''s support when I originally sent Ryan''s Remembrance fund link to all pink un posters. I have organised a Memorial Match for Ryan at Carrow Road and the details have now been released. One of the greatest loves of Ryan’s life was football and Norwich City in particular. It is therefore fitting that a memorial match to commemorate Ryan''s life will take place at the Carrow Road ground where he was a season ticket holder in the lower barclay. The match will feature two of Norwich''s most famous names from their recent past - Darren Huckerby and Paul McVeigh - playing alongside Ryan''s family and closest friends. The event will also feature a performance by Dynamic Dance. All the proceeds from the match, and accompanying auction and raffle, will be in aid of the work of Meningitis Research Foundation in combating meningitis and septicaemia. My family and I very much looking forward to welcoming everyone on the day and thank you in advance for your support, in what will be an amazing tribute to Ryan. xxxxx please spread the word xxxxx For further details please go to www.meningitis.org/rememberryan If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Danny Sweatman on 07763002103, email rememberryan@hotmail.co.uk or tweet @dannysweatman If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate to Ryan''s Remembrance Fund fund please go to www.justgiving.com/rememberryan or text RYAN92 with your donations in £s (e.g. RYAN92 £10) to 70070

  12. The Barclay lost a loyal and passionate season ticket holder on Friday 6th January to a vicious strain of meningitis. My brother Ryan was only 19 when he died in his room at Sheffield Hallam University, where he was studying Sports Coaching and Development Through all of the hurt and pain it has caused my family, we are now so keen to get people''s support to eradicate this virus to stop other families going through the same thing. Ryan will be getting a mention at the home game on Saturday and numerous City players have spoken about Ryan on twitter #rememberryan He will be forever in our hearts. The most loving, caring guy and biggest city fan anyone has ever met. If you would like to donate or raise awareness, please visit www.justgiving.com/rememberryan or you can donate by texting RYAN92 £5 to 70070. Many thanks, Danny Sweatman xx
