1. Personally I have no problem with the concept, I just think that as others have said with regards to MK Dons and I also believe West Ham who have set up theirs in a far more match orrintated way and thus create actual boxes using them.... rather than a dodgey looking view from a window.I think there has to be a level of acceptance, its happened and there will be no change for at least the next 10 years. Thats not just down to the complications of the lease, but also the cost of doing it. The club is now focusing on the re-development of the City stand and that is the best way to increase capacity and income, for this reason I high doubt that they will be even thinking about re-devloping the corner infill. For a start the cost of buying out the lease, knocking down the hotel and then building the stand for only an additional 2,000 seats at the very most seems fairly pointless when compared to the ratio of seats to cost that the city stand would produce.
2. Man some of you are sad... oh booo hoo they are wearing a split scarf, so obviously they MUST support the other team? Really? I mean really! once again a sign everything is going ok on the pitch if we are having to resort to flaming.... scarfs. who cares, it has no bearing on the match, the team, lambert or anything. never bought one myself and none of my buissness what other people spend their cash on!
3. We dont need to change a winning side JUST because Holt scored, the side didnt become bad over night we were just up against a very good liverpool side who forced us back for periods of the game. The starting line up worked brilliantly against Bolton, Sunderland and Swansea, while also kept us in the game against Liverpool! For me the same starting line up, but we know to bring on Holt an drop hoolahan to the right or left depending on who goes off, earlier if if things arnt working! Personally i would like to see jackson get some minutes just to inject abit of pace at the end of the game.
4. I cant help but feel if the boys come out flying we could put this beyond them quickly... but that is the key, we cant get frustrated because of this knowledge, if it isnt working we are capable of switching things around and getting it. Its all about the 3 points, even if we do have to grind it out!
5. Johnson, if the keeper did save it he would find his hands going into the back of the net with the ball or any other body part unfortunate enough to get in the way! Orrrr, there might be a football shaped hole in the roof of the barclay...
6. Emnes has caught my eye since the end of last season, not sure if we would want to match their asking price! Snodgrass might be cheaper if he is off form and would offer some competition on the wings and also in the gap between the front 2. Cant help but feel that if we are still in the top 12 come january we may push the boat out to cement our place in the top flight, the finacial insentive of doing so may be enough to roll the dice!
7.
I agree, Catlineker. Wondered whether all this talk of England call ups has unsettled him a bit, though.
Na, hes known about it since the Sunderland game! And i think he has become twice the player he was at Leeds and credit has to go to Johnson for wanting to progress and push him self, while also to Lambert and the coaching team for working some magic and getting the best out of him!
8.
Leon was incredible today, Better Wizard what are you on about! Can''t believe people are moaning after a 1-1 draw at Anfield! Shocking
Happy with a draw... Worthington, is that you? Its talk like that which will send us down I tells ya! [:P] Huge point, id be very suprise if Swansea or QPR or any of the lower teams will come away with anything from Anfield.
9. Thought I would dig this one up in time for tonights MOTD! Hahaha wonder what we will get tonight after our smash and grab on his beloved Liverpool...
10. Id say less poor defending more a very very good attack... come on, we were up against Bellamy, Suarez, Gerrard, Adam and Downing! It was always going to be tough and remember we are still learning! And no matter how you coin it, if we use the logic ''they could have 5'' we could also say norwich could have stuck their chances away on another day and one it 3-1!
11.
An idea might be that you actually reply to what I posted or read the posts above ps a clue - if we are not enjoying success then the post "there is very little competition from other clubs. Cambridge & Luton are now non-league. Bedford is a biggish place but does not even have a non-league club. Lincolnshire is not much better served".
This a local club for local people.... haha ahh canny beat the league of gentlemen! Cant say im bothered, if we have a large stadium then it means most people from Norwich who want to come to a game will be able to go, and if people from other counties start seeing the light and wish to come pray at the alter of Carrow cathedral then so be it! We wont be complaining at the extra income they bring funding moves for big name players to help us push for europe etc!
12.

I rate Pilkington more than I do Bennett, i''ll be very happy if this signing comes off. *Note thats not a knock at Bennett who''s signign i''m also chuffed with.
Sorry Lambo, but todays EDP has virtually buried this rumour...thank Gawd.
These old threads throw up some real diamonds... need i say anymore! Thank Gawd we signed him in the end eh!
13. To be honest it doesnt matter if he isnt scoring if he keeps laying it on a plat for other players like Pilks yesterday! Was an unbeliveable performance from the lad and the defends must have let out a sigh of relief to see him go off... short lived to see Holt come on in his place, who i though put in a good  shift and was very unlucky to not score with that excellent long range effort!
14. Though it could be years before it would happen i have to back the idea of the barclay being turned into a hugh ''kop'' style stand, largely because it out of all of the stands has a lot of space behind it.However a mirrior image of the jarrold but slightly larger version for the city stand with large corner infills would be brilliant and really make Carrow Road start to look like a top English stadium... heck we might even be considered for an England friendly oh joy of joys! The most important thing is, with more and more preasure being put on the FA to do with debt in football it could be that clubs in Norwichs potenitaly future position of self sustainabilty could really benifit!
15. I dont see the harm in any of this.. money is money! We all scream and shout at the idea of Paul being backed in the transfer window, but then get sniffy at the clubs attempts to secure funding from people with a conection to the club. Oh dear a famous person taking an intrest in what we are up to, how terrible and how terrible of him to talk about us and raise our profile! I guessing that he wont be a real fan till he gets a season ticket right, pretty sure reading on here thats how it works [;)]
16.
He''s a proven Championship striker who is not good enough for the Premier League. We''d be crazy not to accept a bid of a couple of million.
Thats a pretty stupid statement right there folks, the season is still early and he hasnt featured in all of the games.... or are you basing it like in the other thread on monday night? what did you expect of him to come off the bench and get a hattrick or do what lambert said and grind the pace of the game down and take the preasure off the back 4. We would be crazy to accept an offer of a couple of million before we know where we are playing next season, and even then it would be foolish to sell the lynch pin of the club who has a huge effect on the dressing room.
17. Still clinging onto the past I see! Love how we have: Been Divison 1 champions, then relegated out of the premire league, relegated out of the championship, League 1 champions, Championship Runners up and now sit 9th in the the premire league... and it that time they have done nothing, actually nothing. Its almost no suprise they live off the past as there sure as shit nothing going on for the last 10 years or how ever long its been!
18. Oh he didnt just go to the camera.. have a look at this! Legend hahaha www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRLVc-o0Mf8
19. One yellow for a bad tackle and then two for ours for time wasting, was a great display because we barely noticed he was there!
20. Hes still pretty young and I recon if we give him enough abuse it could really throw him off his game.... not expereinced enough to have the Grant Holt effect of playing off the crowd and it working in his favour! lets make him glad to hear the final whistle and see the back of our fine city! [;)]
21. Or Chapplefield that has a flat rate of £2 no matter how long you stay after 3 as long as you dont mind the walk!
22. I know its the cool thing to hate drogba... but hes still a person, I dont think anyone on this message board would want to be knocked out like that and wake up in ambalance thinking you were still at a football match. Stupid statements about his wages and making comparisons to soldiers fighting is completely irrelevant, we could use that logic to say that anyone that gets hurt outside of a war zone should just ''get over themselves''.
23. Lamberts first choice was always Morrison, what alot of people forgett is that that was the case last January too its just Millwall didnt go public like Fry did. Would he have done a good job.. who knows? Would Snoddgrass have done a good job, would McNamme have set the premire league alight? Really no point playing the what if game, we''ve got what we''ve got and we have been playing well and won our first match so personally im just focused on who we have on the books.
24. Holts got to earn his place back at the moment, though that said Morrison has got to start putting them away or he will find himself dropped, I still think that its possible to See Holt and Vaughan starting up front in a 4-4-2 with the wingers but that would see Hoolahan being dropped or Fox being dropped and Wes playing central midfield
