  1. Obviously first dibs to original poster but I might be interested in that one ticket if it comes available at any point, SDP - what stand is it in?
  2. Eyes bigger than their stomachs. Villa are lucky we''re obviously confident we can sell them to home fans, as otherwise they''d just get charged for all the unsold seats.
  3. Excited Canary - yes, you can have a concession ticket as the full price one, then get the adult for £10. I got mine earlier, 1 adult 1 student, paid full price for the student ticket (£15), and the adult was £10. Absolute bargain especially as WBA is my favourite away day of the season anyway!
  4. Fantastic effort and safe travels, see you there
  5. Those venues all seem clustered in one relatively small area of the north midlands so I imagine that''s intentional, we''d be very out of the way
  6. Yes, special offer. £19 adults, £10 over 65, £5 kids. Wigan are only taking the tiny block at the end, so far more tickets available to Norwich fans. Nice move from the club after a lot of justified recent criticism, good to see them showing some flexibility on pricing when it makes sense to.
  7. The Yarmouth chants refer to the general perception that United fans don''t come from Manchester, instead from towns such as Yarmouth. I remember us singing the same thing at them back in 2005.
  8. Jas is right that many clubs wouldn''t see it as financially viable to strip out sections of seats. But the point is that by changing the legislation it gives clubs the choice. It doesn''t mean that every club immediately has to replace areas of seating with standing and indeed I think that would happen in very few cases, at least at first. The obvious example would be that if a club is building a new stand or stadium, then they could incorporate it into their new build design.
  9. It''s a 3 mile walk from the station to the ground along a motorway, definitely not recommended. They run special football buses from the station to the ground for about £4 return. A friend who supports Fulham used the bus service a few weeks ago and said it was very efficient on the way there, with long (but relatively fast moving) queues after the game for the return.
  10. The game is sold out, but there''s plenty available for the Sunderland match
  11. The 4 for £44 was for 2 adults and 2 kids at Villa, not 4 adults
  12. shefcanary - indeed, not been an S10 resident for a couple of years now, thought I''d better stop misrepresenting!
  13. TV games are Bradford v Arsenal and Leeds v Chelsea. Both us and Villa are playing the Saturday prior so assume we will play Tuesday 11th December 7.45 then.
  14. Agreed ldc. I don''t care about the club making another £20k or whatever, in the grand scheme of things it''s small change, I want to see a stadium full of Norwich fans getting behind the team and wanting to come back again and again, not 10,000 empty seats and Spurs taking the piss.
  15. Haven''t you heard, it''s an integral part of the Club''s ten year strategy to tap into the lucrative Norwegian market and guarantee a stream of tourists to fill our freshly expanded ground. Mind you, if we get a pre-season tour of Norway out of this I''d be happy with that
  16. Bought one online earlier but won''t know where it is until it arrives. Would be surprised if the club have risked taking the full allocation given it''s midweek and a bit of a trek, though perhaps we''ll have the option to take the additional block(s) if these sell quickly, not sure what Southampton''s crowds have been like this year as to whether that would be possible.
  17. Ed Balls has a couple of season tickets in the row behind me in the Upper Barclay. He himself is only there maybe five times a season at most though. Was on the back row of the away end at Chelsea the other week too. Charles Clarke used to be a fairly regular spot in the Barclay as well but not seen him for a while now.
  18. Spurs had 2,300 earlier this season, so I imagine our allocation is similar, roughly 10% of capacity as per league rules.
  19. To get two together for the game in January you''ll probably need two supermemberships at £20 each.
  20. Is this what, is this what, is this what you left us for? Is this what you left us for?
  21. We''ve got more points than you, we''ve got more points than you...
  22. They''ll be £53 (£55 to non-members) as they''re in the ''premium'' seating area. The BBC survey will refer to ''standard'' seating areas (e.g. Barclay, N+P, City/Jarrold wings), so the £50 headline figure is technically correct.
  23. Not cheap, but www.barmyflags.co.uk do the customised ones with lettering/club badges.
  24. Worth noting for those who enjoyed their afternoon out on Saturday that there''s quite a few local games in the Norfolk Senior Cup this coming Saturday with lunchtime kick-offs, leaving plenty of time to get to Norwich for the 5.30pm Arsenal game. Fixtures are: Cromer Town v Stalham Town (2.30pm) Caister v Sheringham (1.45pm) Reepham Town v St Andrews (1.45pm) Spixworth Town v Wymondham Town (1.45pm) Great Yarmouth Town v Fakenham Town (1.45pm) Acle United v Blofield United (1.45pm) Dersingham Rovers v Loddon United (1.45pm) Swaffham Town v Downham Town (1.45pm)
