  1. He pronouces it with a V. https://mobile.twitter.com/NorwichCityFC/status/1611491676031164418
  2. Rightly proud. The 1990s first team bungalow could do with cladding to match the modern buildings though.
  3. Chris joined (Premier League) Birmingham, before joining Aston Villa. With hindsight, it would have made a good story, at least, for Chris to have returned. As it was with Dion.

  5. Dike would have been a good signing, he would have given us some hope. We could have given him a Premier League opportunity, knowing that he would be a good Championship striker for next season, if it came to that.
  6. Daryl Dike could be a sensible target.
  7. Rightly so! In those days, 'promotion from within' meant you could almost assume who the next Manager would be (the reserve team Manager) - so Stringer followed Brown, and Walker followed Stringer. A legacy. Liverpool did the same.
  8. Agreed. That goal gave us genuine hope. March 1993.
  9. This is akin to what happened with Angus Gunn. Southampton paid £10m to Man City for him, after his fine season with Norwich in the Championship. If Norwich want Skipp, put an offer on the table, Skipp will get a season of Premier League starts at Norwich, which he and his agent knows he won't get with Spurs. Premier League appearances are currency too.
  10. Mike Walker's first game, away to Arsenal, 2-0 down at half-time. Brings on Mark Robins, who turns the game, 2-4, final score. Roy Waller was giddy on the commentary that day.
  11. A rare post from me, but I recalled the ''Rumbelows Sprint Challenge'' shown on Saint and Greavsie from 1991/2. I think Fox was chosen to represent Norwich, but was eliminated in the heats. I think that Ekoku won the first version of the challenge prior to joining Norwich. Ekoku would therefore be my answer. Although Adrian Forbes could run, seemingly like he was escaping from something.
