1.
Some of our fans need to stop behaving like teenage girls and get a grip. Unless, of course, they are teenage girls, then thats fine.
I agree Morty, Why is it that some fans are happy to give dogs abuse to a player and then behave like a shocked maiden aunt when they get a bit back? Maybe they should be supplied with smelling salts in case they faint the next time someone gives them a bit of their own medicine. At least Snoddy is a man>
2. Trowse is much closer to Carrow Road. You could walk there on match days. Wherever you choose, welcome to Norwich.
3. Ginja is right, Its not about fun or entertainment or style of football. Its about winning. Boring Boring Arsenal fans didn''t complain when they were boringly winning every game 1-0 under George Graham , but they did complain last season when they played brilliantly but won nothing. Chelsea fans didn''t complain about Joses boring tactics when he was in his first spell there. Liverpool fans never used to complain when they won despite playing badly ( apparently its a sign of a great team) Problem now is its all about keeping the PL money rolling in, so results are everything. And its not just Norwich fans who are feeling the pain. Half the division is in the same position, with all those teams unbelievably inconsistent. Even the Barcelona like Swansea are falling away and their fans are no more happy than ours despite their style of football. Expectations have shot up, every club is looking for season on season improvement and all have more resources than ever, but its not a realistic expectation for all the clubs to improve their position each season. Its dog eat dog and the rest of the season is not going to be pretty for the bottom 10 teams. Still its more exciting than mid table mediocrity. Isnt it????
4.
Rumours of unrest in the Carrow Road boardroom have surfaced again. According to sources close to the club McNally is trying to run NCFC as his own personal plaything leaveing many of the current directors bemused and unsure whether to continue backing the club financially, time will tell but the lack of any definite action in the transfer window could point to such a scenario. One rumor that appears to have legs though is that of Lazio''s Centre back Ciani. Sources claim that Norwich have agreed a fee of around 2.5 million euros (Just over 2M pound sterling) with the Italian outfit, with personal terms believed to be close to being agreed.
I didn''t realise that we had MANY directors financially backing the club.
5. Everybody has the right to disagree with whoever they like, but don''t go calling him a part time fan. Mick Dennis has been supporting City for years and nearly always manages to mention us even when he is on the radio supposedly talking about other clubs. Maybe some are having a go just because he writes reasonably argued articles.
6.
if you buy a ticket you can come and go as you please, leave when you want and arrive when you want, these people that moan are moaning about standing up for 2 seconds
Its not 2 seconds though is it? Its a few seconds each time for each one coming and going. Then they decide to stand still and block your view if something happens on the pitch. Then if there are other early leavers coming down from rows behind, there is a hold up getting out of the row.
7. Some near me, go for a leak 20 mins into 1st half, come back, then leave to go to bar on 40 mins, come back in 10 mins after 2nd half starts, then leave on 85 mins. They don''t need a seat.
8. So a handful of people staying behind is going to unsettle The Board is it ? I expect that they are already unsettled by the prospect of  losing the income that goes with the PL. Any demo would just be a few juveniles from this board.  Don''t forget the vast majority of fans never read the drivel (mostly) that gets posted on here. As for the early leavers, we should really have a demo against them.
9. Picking a manager is a big gamble, and fans are fickle and often deranged in their opinions. Pundits are no better , they only speak from hindsight. Malky is no better than Hughton. Lambert is currently unpopular at Villa Ole Gunnar is completely untested in England. Spurs get rid of someone with experience to go with a newbie. WBA ditch a guy who has done wonders for them in recent seasons. WHam fans hate big Sam. In the summer the phone ins were full of Arsenal fans suggesting that Wenger was ruining their club. Its nuts isn''t it? Even the great Fergie was getting dogs abuse every time ManU lost the odd game.
10. This from Villa Talk Forum. Football is an entertainment industry. This rubbish at the moment is not entertaining. Villa Park is going to empty at this rate.    I''m willing to accept that we may have a transitional period here and that the football will follow. But if we stick with this style of football for longer than necessary, I''m not interested.   I was really looking forward to this season and have been to five matches. We''re dishing up long-ball crap and I think we have ridden our luck so far too! It isn''t what I expected at all.   I thought we''d kick on from the end of last season but no end of freak results (Man City) can mask the agricultural approach we''re taking.
11. Dear Mr McNally, Please ignore the knee jerk panicking of fans who want to change managers at the drop of a hat. Some of them behave like spoilt babies, spitting out their dummies when things don''t go their way.
12. I would rather listen to Mark Robins opinions than the majority of idiot views on Canary Call or for that matter many of the knee jerk nonsense on here.
13.
some people view Norfolk as a sleepy little back water. sadly with that comes "sleepy little backwater" views..
I hate the needless abuse Hughton has been getting and I hope he starts to get the results we all want. I also hate racism and any other type of bullying. But I must point out that your assumption that racism comes from sleepy little backwater views also smacks of needless ignorant stereotyping and lazy assumptions. I believe that most people in Norfolk are some of the most welcoming anywhere. If you want to see overt racism from football fans , I suggest you visit some of the forums of some of the London clubs, one in particular of a club in South London may make you revise your opinions .
14. Durham is just a Troll. He changes his mind on a daily basis, he doesn''t believe what he says or writes, its just to get a reaction.
15. The best way to deal with Durham is to ignore him. The more you react, the more ammunition you give him. He doesn''t believe most of what he says, but as he is a radio troll looking for an offended response to his insults, he feeds off of any response.
16. Orford,  I am not saying that the Norfolk accent is awful,  I have a bit of one myself. However as with all accents, there are degrees, and my colleagues is at the deepest of the deep end with a slow and poderous delivery which makes him utterly boring to listen to.
17. I work with a guy with an almightily awful Norfolk accent, who is an avid (lifelong , he says) Liverpool fan. I hate to think what the reaction to his voice will be if he calls a Liverpool radio phone in. Mind you he will probably be one of many plastics phoning in.
18. Your mate down the pub??????????? A West Ham fan??????????   Why are you listening to him??????
19. Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married.... The other night I was invited out for a night with the ''girls.'' I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, ''I promise!'' Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed... 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals = 12 cuckoos MIDNIGHT!) The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him ''MIDNIGHT''... he didn''t seem pissed off in the least. Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said ''We need a new cuckoo clock.'' When I asked him why, he said, ''Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said ''oh shit.'' Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.
20. Thing is, Durham spouts opinions which he doesnt actaully believe to attract response from outraged fans. If you havent been "rubbished " by his fake opinions, you dont exist.
21. the fact is that the ethnic mix of the Norwich area is the same as the UK national averge. this is not my opinion but a fact from govuk statistics. if you live and work in Norwich you will know that the City has many more black residents these days, and is a very tolerant place.
22. Getting rid of Doomcaster and Mumby. Getting in Bowkett and McNally. McNally appointing PL. Everything else has followed from there.
23. Its all getting very juvenile in the snakepit. More interested in their own "humour" than supporting the team?
