God , you must be really sensitive if you thought it was patronising.   I thought the shots of the gound and of a full stand of fans singing was very good. They inevitably had theDelia food reference, but that was shot in an attractive restaurant view, so even that cme across well.

For me , Gunny will always be a legend. As a player he was great for us. I will always remember him squaring up to Lothar Mattheus during our European run..  As a man he has had to bear tragedy in his family, and how he coped with that is an exmple to us all. As an ambassador and representative for the club , he put his heart and soul into all he did. Nothing should erase those memories.   The management thing for me is a completely seperate issue. Its understandable that he should put himself forward, but he should never have been considered , it was a desperate act by S&J and the rest of the previous board, they had run out of ideas and gambled on emotion being enough to rescue us. The rest is history, but if any good came out of it, its that now we finally have ruthless, hard nosed,and professional people over ruling the woolly thinking of the owners.  

Gingerpele,   the ground can never be full to the 26000 capacity because it includes the segregation seats, which have to be deducted from the 26000. I dont know what the actual operating capacity would be, it must depend on the away team, how many seats they take/sell, and what the mimimm number of segregated seats can be , depending on the opposition.

I am all for aplauding fans who support their local team, good on em.   I hate the plastic fans who parade around every town and city centre with their big 4 shirts on when they have no connection to the area the team plays in..   However Ipswich are our biggest rivals, they dont like us and we dont like them.   Last season they delighted in our downfall, now its our turn to delight in their potential downfall, nothing wrong with that.

I like WOTB,   Its a bit anarchic , but there is nothing wrong with that.   Over the years there have beeen some amazing posts on there, OK a lot of the time its a free for all, but nothing wrong with that.

Cam,   Are you confusing Lakenham and Larkman estates? Neither are great but the Larkman wins hands down on the Holeometer.

Lots of clubs struggle to attract plyers.    I have heard the same complaints from  Middlesborough, Sunderland and even Newcastle, not to mention  Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff, Ipswich, Midlands clubs, In previous times we have attracted some very good players. We live in a very small country , you can be almost anywhere from anywhere in a few hours. I work with people from Europe and the US, they find it laughable that we think we are remote, as far as they are concerned 100 miles from London is local. I also know a few Aussies who cant believe how busy our "country " roads  are.  

In previous seasons I could see us underperforming.   Now I think there is a new professionalism about the club, with Bowkett, Mc Nally and Lambert in charge.   Delia and Michael and their home spun amatuerism have taken a back seat, so although nothing is certain, I am confident.

 I do feel a bit sorry for them (not a big bit)      TWTD was invaded by City fans on Saturday night , and I must admit I did  join in the general mickey taking.   However they must learn to take it as well as give it out.   Thats how it works.   They are very delusional though, some of them still dont realise what kind of a run they need to put together to stay up, and some are even still talking of play offs,                    bless.

This is serious. Please BEWARE! IT HAS COST ME A LOT OF MONEY!! Over the last month I became a victim of a clever ''Eastern European'' scam while out shopping. Simply dropping into Sainsbury''s for a bit of shopping has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don''t be naive enough to think it couldn''t happen to you or your friends. Here''s how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking voluptuous 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot. They both start cleaning your windscreen, their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they''ll say ''No'' and instead ask you for a lift to another supermarket store, in my case, Tesco at Sprowston. You agree and they both get in the backseat. On the way, they start undressing, and both get completely naked. Then, when you pull over to remonstrate, one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over your lap, kissing you, touching you intimately, and thrusting herself against you, while the other one steals your wallet! I had my wallet stolen august 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, and 29th. Also September 1st, 4th,6th,10th twice yesterday and very likely again this coming weekend. P.S. Aldi have wallets on sale for £1.99 each but Lidl are £1.75 and look better

For Ipswich to stay up,  they need to achieve probably 51 points, based on Forest finishing 4th botttom last season wth 51. That means they need to replicate the form of a top 6 finishing team ,again based on last seasons championship results.   Tough call?

Theres no need for him to go away.   He has been a great sevant for the club over many years.   Just should not have been appointed as manager.   I dont blame him for applying.   I blame the muddled thinking from those who appointed him  

Gunnys done nothing wrong,   He should have never been appointed as manager, it was a decision made because the board had no alternative ideas.   Thankfully the new Chairman and Chief Exec do.

Leeds fans I know expecting tough game, they see it as hardest so far. They expect us to take a good number of fans there and predict crowd up to 25,000.

Dont see why you shouldnt wear you rcolours, I have seen plenty of City fans out and about in Ipswich over the years. Seen them in the shopping centre, at the cinema, even saw a young kid in full City outfit kicking a ball around with his mates. Its Ipswich you know, not Baghdad.

Waller was always poor, and he had very little knowledge of other clubs. He is a throw back to the original days of Radio Norfolk when they seemed to go for yokel types like Waller and Keith Skipper. Som of the younger ones aint perfect but the sports team is better than it used to be.
