  1. So are Burnley bigger than Leeds just because they are in the prem at this time?
  2. Obviously the fact that Burnley are currently prem puts them above us in the pecking order, but how on earth they could be considered bigger mystifies me.
  3. Digwon may disagree! but yesterday at carrow road an example to our pathetic jobsworths at the pharm was set. I was stood all game at the back, stood next to a wafer thin divide between us and the norwich fans with police and stewards and there was no problems whatsover. Yes when they scored they were giving it the big one but some of our lot were giving it back and it was just accepted as part of the game. They even had some great banter with our fans during it and they were a credit. we weren''t treated like the stuff on the back of your shoe like you get at the galpharm. Super place is Carrow Road. One nice touch after the game when my programme dropped out of my pocket and a young norwich lad ran about 100 metres to give me it back. He even tried to direct me towards our coach. Some nice fans still around
  4. He hasnt disappeared, at this time of year  I have put him at the top of my Christmas tree.
  5. John Manning eh?   The only player to fall down slower than geting up.
  6. And producing great amounts of hot air , but agreeing nothing.
  7. Dont wear colours in the snakepit???? Big joke. Try telling that to the girl who paints he face yellow and green.
  8. 60,000? they''ll need to Forest and County to play at the same time on one pitch to make that worthwhile!!!!!
  9.  I believe Nottingham is also on the list of Cities, I know Forest are well supported , but they will only get near 40,000 if they are in the prem. MK already have a 40,000 shell, if not actual seats, I cant envisage them getting even half that for MK Dons games though. Plymouths plan is nuts, they will need a massive increase in support and success to justify the new stadium.
  10.    Herbert is a  -----------Herbert.
  11. Comment below taken from Yeovil forum. They dont like Holt.   Jordan Obviously home from Uni, played a blinder. Great atmosphere great game, my Norwich supporting mate reckoned they were lucky to get a point, and wonders how Grant Holt ever gets a game his opinion one I share I hasten to add I reckon he invented the phrase does my arse look big in this.
  12. I liked the guy who came on and said he was proud of everyone from the ballboys to Delia ( not as conciselyas that obviously) He began with a totally incomprehensive ramble about watching England in 1966. We later learned that he had only been going ton the Carra for 3 years, and only then becuase his son "had won tickets to Carrow Road at Morrisons" Now I am Norfolk born and bred and proud of it,but sometimes, just sometimes I wonder about some of my county brethren. Good thing is I have worked all over the country and know its not just us, there are wassocks everywhere.
  13. the default fact about us is that we were exterminated by the giant meteorite and football fans everywhere remember us fondly.
  14. Thanks for that Ernie. I sympathise re the journey. For too many years to remember I had to make the journey from Norwich to Oldham (Hollinwood)  on a very regular basis. I had to attend meetings which started at 10.30am , so early starts were necessary. Also have fond memories of staying at the following Oldham hotels. The Bower. Smokies and the tall hotel building close to the Town centre ( sorry forgot the name) is the Roxy cinema still there?
  15. Wookie, Posts can be very serious , very unserious, or anything in between. However its never as weird as WOTB.
  16. Radio Norfolk are holding a special Canary Call on Monday re the meteorite strike and what effect it will have on the squads ability to achieve promotion.
  17. Tony is getting his own show, end of problem. What about the endless procession of miserable gits worrying about us selling Holt, Hoolahan, Russell, et all. And now worrying about the manager going to manage Scotland. Last season was easier, everyone was rubbish and we had no problems losing anyone. apart from games obviously.
  18. What do you mean its not Rarmy, the entire City stand have been singing that for years, its much better than Yarmy. I took my wife today, and when the crowd started to sing "when the greens go marching in" she was singing "when the saints go marching in." Easy mistake.
  19.  AJ wrote: Great time to score your first goal! Beausant wrote Second mate. He scored against Wycombe, but who cares!!!     Pedants everywhere Beausant, not just prats like me eh???
  20. Beausant,   I couldnt be any more local, so forget the second homers reference. There were 2 spelling mistakes in your post by the way.
