  1. Players tend join bigger clubs just for money and the chances of winning silverware - Chelsea are also in Europe. What usually happens is they don''t get many games and ruin their career because they lose the skills - If Ruddy went to Chelsea and Chelsea won something, I doubt he would get a winners medal.

  2. Even though I''m very worried about what could happen if he does go, I can''t really see him going - I read in the paper about Chelsea''s first bid but Hughton said that we wanted to keep our best players here and that unfortunately Ruddy falls into that category. In other words I think that he''s saying Ruddy is not for sale

  3. If Ruddy does go this is what I see:

    1) Relegation - I can''t see us finding a strong enough replacement. Bunn isn''t good enough in my opinion

    2) Ruddy never playing for England again - I can''t see him taking the no. 1 shirt away from Petr Cech

Chelsea offered Jack Butland a contract in January but he rejected it because he wanted to play regularly - if he had gone he would ruin his career

If we do accept a bid Ruddy will have to decide whether he still wants to play regular first team football and get called up for his country, or become just a spectator on the bench with higher wages.

I would only let Chelsea have Ruddy if they gave us Cech in return

  4. Either the 6-1 defeat to Man City last season - it boosted their goal difference which helped them nick the title from Manure

Or the 7-1 defeat to Colchester - it got rid of Gunn and got us Lambert. I''m not very critical of Gunn though as he was a great player and also got us Holt. However, if he did stay on as the manager I don''t think we would have gone back up

  5. I believe his injury was what caused our form to drop. Bunn is certainly good enough to play in the Premier League, but this is only his first season with us and he is also the second choice keeper. The loss of Ruddy may have even frustrated the rest of the players

  6. I reckon Wigan will go down. Yes, they have just managed to stay up through the past few seasons. I think this is due to their cup run. Everyone argues about whether a good cup run helps you in the league and I think it doesn''t - look what happened to Birmingham 2 years ago and Leeds in our League 1 season

  7. This game is a very winnable game for both sides. I do just happen to like Stoke more than QPR but I would prefer it to be QPR as they are currently 7 points adrift of safety whilst Stoke are only 1 point behind us, in other words this would help us out. Probably a draw though
