I totally agree with you there PP -
I also believe that if RvW turns out how we''re hoping and Ruddy stays, we could make a top half finish with Ruddy at the back and Ricky up front -
Even though I''m very worried about what could happen if he does go, I can''t really see him going - I read in the paper about Chelsea''s first bid but Hughton said that we wanted to keep our best players here and that unfortunately Ruddy falls into that category. In other words I think that he''s saying Ruddy is not for sale -
Yes - we went 17 games without a win during Ruddy''s injury period last season didn''t we?If Chelsea want Ruddy I''d ask £100m + Petr Cech. Then they won''t sign him -
If Ruddy does go this is what I see:1) Relegation - I can''t see us finding a strong enough replacement. Bunn isn''t good enough in my opinion2) Ruddy never playing for England again - I can''t see him taking the no. 1 shirt away from Petr CechChelsea offered Jack Butland a contract in January but he rejected it because he wanted to play regularly - if he had gone he would ruin his careerIf we do accept a bid Ruddy will have to decide whether he still wants to play regular first team football and get called up for his country, or become just a spectator on the bench with higher wages.I would only let Chelsea have Ruddy if they gave us Cech in return -
Either the 6-1 defeat to Man City last season - it boosted their goal difference which helped them nick the title from ManureOr the 7-1 defeat to Colchester - it got rid of Gunn and got us Lambert. I''m not very critical of Gunn though as he was a great player and also got us Holt. However, if he did stay on as the manager I don''t think we would have gone back up -
I do believe we could get something out of the game - they were abysmal yesterday and have a game in hand on Tuesday, although it is only away to Reading. It would certainly be nice to win - our only away win in the league this season was 4-3 v Swansea -
I believe his injury was what caused our form to drop. Bunn is certainly good enough to play in the Premier League, but this is only his first season with us and he is also the second choice keeper. The loss of Ruddy may have even frustrated the rest of the players -
Yessssssssssssss! All hail the Swans! -
2-1. arrgh -
1-1! Come on Swansea! -
Ruddy with Bunn on the bench. I was expecting Ruddy back last Saturday but I guessed he probably still wasn''t 100% fit. Ruddy also has more experience playing with us -
I reckon Wigan will go down. Yes, they have just managed to stay up through the past few seasons. I think this is due to their cup run. Everyone argues about whether a good cup run helps you in the league and I think it doesn''t - look what happened to Birmingham 2 years ago and Leeds in our League 1 season -
I reckon the reason Ruddy isn''t in the squad is because he''s only just back from injury and probably isn''t 100% yet, which is also why Pilks is starting on the bench. Personally I swap Tettey with Howson though. -
We don''t need money at the moment and Martin is a possible contender for player of the year IMO. I would never sell him. Whittaker was injured for a long time this season and may be injury prone. -
This game is a very winnable game for both sides. I do just happen to like Stoke more than QPR but I would prefer it to be QPR as they are currently 7 points adrift of safety whilst Stoke are only 1 point behind us, in other words this would help us out. Probably a draw though -
Considering WH have held the top side to a draw, I reckon they should do quite well when they play against a side below them in the table -
Phew. Full time now -
Many thanks Carlos. Please could you look for couple more though to damage their GD more -
2-0 NorwichI never remember Ruddy being poor, but I thought he wasn''t that good when we first got him, but then of course he was settling in. Not that it took him long to do -
I think I would pick exactly the same line-up. Don''t know whether Pilks will be back but Ruddy is supposed to be -
As far as I''m aware Ruddy is supposed to start for us on Saturday, just need comfirmation from the clubhttp://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8643743/?utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=twitterfeed_football -
I do believe that Wigan will leave the Etihad with nothing tomorrow. They also will have fixtures closer together as they have 3 more games to play than us - including the FA Cup Final, a distraction for them. More games also means more chances for injuries, fatigue and suspensions. -
I totally agree with you CJ + ICF. The ref doesn''t give it because they are both shirt pulling. The lino gives it because he can only see Kamara. When the ref had the better view it drives me up the wall that he accepts the lino''s desicion
Why would Ruddy join Chelsea
