1.
I simply cannot wait to put this arrogant little village team in their place, just really hope the game goes ahead though.
Er Colchester arrogant? Only one set of fans being arrogant in all this and it ain''t us...
 2.
They started it. Oh yeah, and they smell.
A worse smell is coming from your direction,oh hang on it stops about 20 miles up the A12...
 3.
I know that we have it down at carrow Road, but should it be compulsary for teams who are building a new stadium, or teams to add during this closed season, the amount of games being called off over the last few weeks, its awful and when watching a video on SSN some of the pitches were fine but some of the area around the ground was slightly icy!   [;)]
Most games get called off because of the areas outside the stadium and not because of the pitch, unfortunatly it is the world we now live in where health and safety is taking over everything..
 4.
Someone calling me a knob ? Would you be calling me that face to face, if not don''t say it on here. Thank you
I think you will find he is one of your own supporters, one of the decent Norwich supporters who actually lives in the real world...What exactly is your problem? Why do you have a need to show this aggression??? Shouldn''t you be off supporting Millwall or Leeds with your attitude and not Norwich
 5.
Looking forward to saturday if any trouble (not caused by us) no doubt you 2 will be happy to stand behind us
Sounds like the only one who wants trouble is you. I haven''t got a problem with Norwich fans in with us,after all it is ONLY A FOOTBALL MATCH and there is nothing wrong with a bit of friendly banter between us but some of your comments are beyond belief....
 6.
Beckford: League 16 in 22 Cups 4 in 7 Holt: League 16 in 25 Cups 6 in 5 So Beckford has scored as many as Holt in the league having played 3 games less and considering 3 of his cup games were against teams from higher leagues (Watford, Liverpool, Man United) his cup record isn''t that bad and all of Holts cup goals have come against Carlisle, Yeovil and Paulton Rovers, brilliant Beckford is better then Holt, simple as Add to that Beckford has scored 74 in 113 starts for Leeds
Yeah and he won''t be your player for much longer
 7.

Our chairman doesn''t like you, he doesn''t like the way you do your business, and he neither wants nor needs your money. Some of you on here were revelling in your new-found hard-nosed tough agressive attitude when you poached Lambert - well this is flipside, have that attitude to smaller clubs and be prepared to be disliked. I''m guessing the irony of posting "all this ''my Dad''s bigger than yours'' crap" and then "severe case of little club syndrome" in successive sentences is lost on you? If you had all gone quietly about your business, picked up however many home tickets as you could, that would probably have been the end of it. However, thanks to foolish threads like this one, that crop up frequently on not just your messageboards, but thanks to Wiz and others, on ours too, the club, stewards, police and even some fans are going to be watching very closely for Norwich fans in the home sections. That''s not a threat, just a simple statement of fact. You have your allocation of tickets for the North stand, any away fans elsewhere are breaking ground regulations, and we sadly have the sort of fascist stewards who''ll be only to happy to enforce those regulations.
Its all about fear of losing to a smaller club. Clubs like Norwich,Leeds,Southampton and Forest and Sheff Wed when they were in our league think they have a got a right to be playing in a much higher league and just can''t accept the fact that they now have to play little clubs like Colchester every week. They all bring up the same thing over and over again that their club is much bigger and they have more seats in their ground than us,it is just like the school bully who says his dad is much bigger than yours. What their problem is is that our little club didn''t bend over backwards and give in to what they wanted by giving them more tickets than we normally give out to away fans,so you now get them boasting about how they have got tickets in the home end and how they won''t be moved because they are big lads. As i''ve said before Norwich has been my second team for about twenty years so i haven''t got a problem with them just certain fans who go on and on about the same cr*p time and time again. Most fans on here seem ok and we have had proper chats that don''t involve the our club is bigger cr*p but others are complete idiots.......
If we lose we lose, we won''t be the first, nor the last.  As you found out not so long ago  [:O][:S]
I know you all have got a problem with Robbie Cowling but just let me explain a few things to you all. I don''t agree with the comments he made regarding tickets,he should have just said "no Norwich are not having anymore tickets" and left it at that. He shouldn''t have said "i would much rather have an empty seat than a Norwich fan sitting in it" this has now caused bad blood between the supporters and it will backfire badly next week when you win 2-0 at our place. But saying that Robbie Cowling has done a hell of a lot for our club and i will never have a bad word to say about him and i can fully understand his problem with Norwich and mainly Lambert. When Cowling arrived at Colchester our record signings were Adrian Coote from you guys and Neil Gregory from Ipswich, both cost a pathetic £50,000. We also played in what was the biggest sh*thole in the league that was Layer Road,if you ever went there you will understand what i mean. Cowling basically got us into the ground we are in now and when Lambert took over Cowling spent alot of his OWN money on players Lambert wanted,i''d say at least £500,000 which is a hell of alot of money for a club like ours.. Most of this was spent over the summer so i''m sure you can understand him being a bit pi**ed that two games into the season Lambert jumps ship because he gets a better offer somewhere else.

 9.
Glad it was appreciated ''Cufcone'' ;)
No problem mate...
 10.
7, That''s pretty much your whole grounds capacity isn''t it?
Funny man or should i say funny school boy....
 11.
Made me smile tbh, Keane was only saying before Xmas that he was definately recalling Lisbie whether he liked it or not and offered a wager to the journo he was talking to. Said something like ''''I make the decisions round here , not Lisbie and he''ll be back on Jan 1st  would you like a wager on it'''' Keane is doing a great job there [:D] ''''no goal for 12 mths'''' Stern John instead of '''' 10 goals Lisbie''''  and now he''s trying to offload his £1.75m Priskin striker signing which shows he''s lost the plot. Keeep up the good work Keane [:)]
Keane said he was recalling Lisbie to sell him as he had had  plenty of offers for him.Total bulls**t,he just wanted us to put an offer in for him..Bloke is an idiot but i think he is doing a great job
 12.
CUFC you defeat your own arguments 1. You have several hundred tickets still up for sale 2. How many dodgy? tickets are you returning in excess of 1000? 3. Take away the hundreds that will still get in 4. AND IMPORTANTLY YOUR FANS ARE NOT LOYAL - YOU HAVE SOLD HARDLY ANY TICKETS FOR MK AND MILWALL - SURELY THESE GAMES ARE AT LEAST AS IMPORTANT 5. When you took Lambert from Wycombe you dont seem to have moaned then 6. MAYBE WE CAN HELP YOUR FUNDS PLEASE TELL US WHEN YOUR DVD PRESTON 7 COL 0 GOES ON SALE
1) there is actually around 300 left 2) no idea how many dodgy ones, all i know is there are a number of tickets that will not be sent out 3) Yes Norwich fans will still get in the home end but will be kicked out if they show they are Norwich fans in any way. 4) We only have around 5000 loyals fans, the rest just jump on the bandwagon when there is a big game. When we played Chelsea away i think we took more fans to that than there was at a home league game the week before. 5) I personaly couldn''t give a toss about Lambert, managers come and go just like players do 6) No idea about the DVD,I will enquire about it if you want one
 13. You will be ok if Holt is out injured with Lisbie on his way to Norwich..Apparantly Wizard saw him in Norwich today, isn''t that right Wizard???
 14.
For all you Colchester fans coming on here, just think what your chairman is costing you with his gob. Apparently you cant afford Lisbie yet he is quite happy to turn away £40000. Has he really got the interests of your club at heart? Through one game you are putting your whole season at risk - maybe you should be singing sack the board at your next game. By the way I seem to remember Milton Keynes and Watford doing the same checks but 100''s still got tickets. Unfortunately some of your so called fans? are selling tickets.
How is he costing the club £40000?  I beleive there is only a couple of hundred tickets left....This game was always going to sell out whether we gave you 5000 tickets or 500
 15.
You have no fans with a Norwich postcode? What about an Ipswich postcode? Lots of City fans down that way and i''m sure lots of Norwich fans know people in Suffolk or Essex
People that have brought tickets before are on the system so they will be ok...Norwich fans that have got them through local people will be ok as long as they don''t make it not known they are Norwich fans at the game...
 16.
talking to mate who lives down that way according to him Colchester have a big pile of tickets put to one side vwhich they are classing as dodgy applications, how many exactly he doesn''t know but if Colchester don''t get a move on and decide what to do their mouthpiece will get his wish empty seats if they don''t send them out
This is true,EVERYONE not on Colchesters system or with a non Colchester post code is being checked out..
 17.
I have a horrible feeling that it could get messy, with sendings offs and yellows galore. There is no way that it can be just another game because of the build up on both sides and I just hope that both sets of fans can keep things cool off the pitch as well. Personally I will be glad when it''s over whatever the result, because it''s been a distracting sideshow for way too long.
I just hope that they appoint a strong enough Ref for this match as with both teams fired up it could get a bit tasty. As you have no doubt seen yourselves some of the Refs at this level are not exactly brilliant and if we get the wrong one then things will get out of hand on and off the pitch...
 18.

No, it''s fair play to him I reckon. What do you reckon the score will be on 16th? I''m going for 1-1
2-0 Norwich...
I think its almost too close to call, yes, we have the quality to win the game but it has been built up to more than a game now, Colchester will be fired up. Literally anything can happen lol.
I''ve said before that if we treat it as just another game we would be in with a chance of winning, but i think too many people have taken things too far and i think it will backfire on us.....
 19.
No, it''s fair play to him I reckon. What do you reckon the score will be on 16th? I''m going for 1-1
2-0 Norwich...
 20.
Don''t understand...really I don''t cufc. You joined this site in August (presumably to take a pop at us) and you''re still here. Maybe we''re your second team! I can''t see any other reason for posting because if I was to post on Colchester''s site it would mean I was interested and quite motivated in fact. You''re welcome as an associate canary!   I have to be honest here is suppose,Norwich are in fact my second team...Have been since the start of the premier league back in 92/93 season....Walkers greats getting into Europe and beating Bayern Munich and just losing to Inter Milan
21.
Look cufc.... why do you bother staying on this site? why not chat on colchester''s forums? Surely Colchester''s fans have something to say about their own team?
We haven''t got any fans remember....
 22.

There was one on the match chat thread, but he''s gone quiet, and he thinks Norwich is a village poor little mite
I am here...Hello...If you look again i didn''t call Norwich a village,i said we were a tin pot shi**y little village club....And anyway i''ve just heard we are after Prestons caretaker manager now, isn''t that the normal thing to do after you concede seven against someone?
A village club is in a village is it not?  Not exactly brains of Britain are you? I couldn''t care less about who you get as manager or don''t as the case may be, all I care about is the fact that you were beaten 7-0 and we at least scored 1 goal more than you [:D]
You are not exactly brains of britain are you? How is me calling my team COLCHESTER a tin pot shi**y little village club calling NORWICH a village?

 24.
I Think we should all post this on the Colchester website: "When the opposition puts seven past you you can''t even score once. You''re rubbish!"
But we lost against a team in a league higher, you lost to a tin pot shi**y little village club.....
 25.
Just think what a threat they could be ,if they fully concentrated on what they were doing instead of worrying about other clubs and their managers !!?!
I''ve said myself that we need to treat the Norwich game as just ANOTHER match instead of hyping it up so much...Although i would never say a bad word againat Robbie Cowling because of what he has done for the club i think he is taking it a bit personal with what has happened over Lambert and Norwich and i think all that is going on will have a negative effect on us on 16th Jan.
