alan Lee Or grant Holt?
Barclay Bear replied to I am a Banana's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Stupid Question! -
Definitely don''t think Doc should go him and Askou are solid together. However Tudur-Jones, Cureton, Theo, Semi and Gill can all go!
-
Don''t you mean when Cureton leaves in January! We don''t really need another striker we just need the money.
-
David Marshall regretting leaving?
Barclay Bear replied to 7rew's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Poor Marshy! However from watching him on the TV the other day I think at Cardiff he''s finally got a defence he can rely on. And whats with all the fluorescent orange kits this season! -
We have got so used to winning at home we know what to expect! We have become surprisingly over the last few games.

A very ordinary player in my view who is no better than Martin or MacDonald. If we were looking to pay a fee to get in another striker then there are far better than him about and we need someone in the Holt mould as cover or a different option
I agree, If we were to buy a new striker it would have to be someone that stood out head and shoulders abover Martin and Cody and became a full time partner with Holt, no point having another Martin,Cody, thats not quite good enough to play week in week out.
Quite true, though getting someone better than Martin and Macdonald would be tricky and probably would cost a reasonable fee!
Alan Lee
What! Never in a million years he was s**t. All that rubbish about how he was going to get loads of goals against Ipswich, he then did sod all in that game and made us look stupid! -
What if a meteorite hits Carrow Road?
Barclay Bear replied to Mister Chops's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At least if it hit Carrow road it would have to hit Portman road too and Colchesters so called stadium! -

I thought Lambert said he would let Hoolahan go for £8million! He must have been joking but I don''t think Lambert does jokes. -
They can''t have anymore goalkeepers on loan haha !

2-0 another comfortable home win! Holty and Lappin (if he doesn''t move to left back.) -
Even if Theo, OTJ and Semi all go we would still have a big enough team.
-
If we sell Holt in January.
Barclay Bear replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I hate all the higher teams who think they can come in and buy all the best things that have ever happened to this club! I hope Holty doesn''t leave, the directors said they had the money so when the time comes they better put their money where their mouth is. -
Radio Norfolk Commentator

I think this guy is normally the commentator for Lowestoft Town FC. -
Towards the end of last season I never used to think much of Doc, but now since fighting his way back into the team he has been consistent week in week out, he always pushes and pulls players around in the box during corners which is what we need. His and Askou''s headers are solid and their always there to wack the ball away! Apart from yesterday overall I think he''s a bloody decent defender.

Beckford has one of those faces you just want to smash!!

That''s not good news, if Fraser gets recalled and as Rudd''s still injured! that means Theo or Steer?
-
Right, I was at the match tonight. As for people saying that he shouldn''t play again, I think that is stupid and really harsh! Also someone said that he wasn''t in the penalty area when they scored their first but he was and he couldn''t of done anything about it anyway. They all had a poor game today and you cannot single one or two players out!!!
I didn''t say he should never play again I said I dont want to see him playing any time soon! Meaning he should do what Doherty did and be out the team for several weeks, improve, and fight his way back into the team. I understand that Nelson only played because Askou couldn''t be there, but you would think he would at least try and impress Lambert and win the place off Askou.

Awwww he''s so cute not playing because his wife is ill, get well soon mrs Askou we need your husband back.[:)]
