Bear with me here..... What I mean is in the championship we were in all honesty for the last 3 years a crap, middle of the table club. Now we have been relegated, we are suppose to be the big boys and getting a lot more coverage than we would had we been in the championship cause of everything that is happening. Let me give you an example. You’re a manager- would you want to take on Leeds or Shef Wed? Norwich or Scunthorpe? Southampton or Barnsley? I think we have the potential to attract a better manager now due to the fact we are more likely to achieve success. Does anyone else agree? Or even understand what I mean?

No Norwich i have not.. Im sure i should be speaking to him at some point tommorow afternoon though. I did speak to him this morning and he was adamant he would be joining in the next 2 days.

I haven’t left the building. Just was a little busy.. Well, the person that assured me it is Steve Coppell says he is still very very confident it is him. However it does seem weird having McNally saying the new manager is in employment at another club. Everything I have told you i still believe to be 100% true. I see no point in lying to other NCFC fans!

wel i appologise ncfclad. In fairness i think most poeple had guessed from all the media it was getting that Bell and Hoolahan were signing. But i would not put it past some of the papers just to have coppied it from you ;-)    

Colneycanary, its aimed at anyone who makes rumours up. I’m not saying for one second your making your one up, I think it’s strange that Steve Coppell has not yet, to state facts signed a contract with NCFC, and therefore will most probably be staying at Dunstan Halls or another Hotel until a contract is agreed and signed.  The reason I’m on edge is everyone is VERY sceptical due to the amount of fake rumours doing the rounds and in any normal circumstance I two would think it was BS. If your genuine then I think it’s great Steve''s already looking at property. Not sure how he has found time to do this since he has been out of the country and only returned recently I believe, this may be incorrect though. Oh and being a smart arse wouldn’t really suit my style, believe u have to be an arse and smart to claim that title, something you would no allot about by the sounds of it ;-) again I’m only joking  

Canaryfan, thanks for the advice, I think I will wait, let other people see what happens and then gloat when I’m right haha.. I’m only Joking I wouldn’t gloat ;-) In regards to ncfclad, has any of his 9839910913 rumours ever come true?    

Please do check who first informed you Steve Coppell would be joining NCFC. You may do this by checking thread dates and times. To give you a bit of help it was I, ‘Norwich Fan’ I think you will find the other rumours are simply other topics set up after this one to try and make people believe they have an insider. I fail to see where the pleasure of attempting to trick fellow fans lays and therefore would not do it..  

Just to give you all more ammunition against me if I’m wrong, instead of giving me until Thursday, you should (everything going to plan) only need to wait till Tuesday 18th August. Worst case scenario will be Wednesday 19th August.

I have found it humorous that since I originally started this post another 3 or 4 have been set up claiming to know Steve Coppell and that he is thinking about applying for the Job. No one can say he is lying cause if he chose not to take the job he can just say he changed his mind, if he does (which he will) take the job offer then he can keep on pretending he has a friendship with Steve. I have well and truly put my Nads on the chopping block as i have said he WILL be joining along with a date. So if he doesn’t then i really am screwed and if he does then I’m no better that the other guys starting rumours. Just remember who told you first! Can we get away from the subject of me being a ''binner'' or liar or attention seeker untill Thursday, in the mean time is everyone happy with this in my mind, fantastic and ambitious appointment? And then when he does sign you may apologise then ;-) Only Joking

Like I say, give me till Thursday. Your journo cam may believe he is out of the country. So was Nelson. Signing a contract meant he came home on his honey moon. I can confirm Coppell was in Norwich today Being shown round the stadium is standard. He may of been here last season, do you think he looked in the offices, home changing room (which by all respect is just a green room with a 32" TV init. I can also swear to you i am NOT an Ipswich fan and would appreciate it if you didn’t say that. How would you like me calling you a binner? Horrible feeling, id much prefer you have a go about my family ;-) lol.    

Im not heartless, i feel for him and his family as i would for any fan who was offered the job and then had it taken away, but at the end of the day like you say the right desicion has been made (imo) but it does feel like they have there own personal agenda of publicity that caring about the club. Take gunnys begging for the job to any camera or Journo who would listen. I wish they could deal with it with dignity and pride

Hello all again, Facilities- my guess would be they were part of the attraction to the club, they are top championship or better quality. I’m sure we all know the kind of things that would be said before they are. I can understand why you would think a whiff of BS could be present. I have just read a few more of the topics below, and i think there are another 6 managers definitely joining NCFC lol. Like i say just give me till Thursday to prove myself. If I’m incorrect then there’s no chance of getting believed a second time (I think its ncfclad that would prove that point) Have a good evening all
