1. was the fact that our players will be knackered after putting so much effort in on a strength sapping pitch for 80 minutes with 10 men. And all this while being 3-0 down after some shocking decisions by a p*** poor ref. Most other teams would have given up the ghost by half time but not us. We put so much effort into trying to win the game from an almost impossible situation that we may find that some players will be struggling for Monday.

Give them a break all you moaners

2. Taking it as given that we will go up, what do you think will be more likely to happen first. Promotion to Premier League or relegation back to League 1. It may take a few years for either to happen but one will come first. I think a lot depends on the manager but i cannot see us getting in the same mess like we did a year ago and think that we will have 2 or 3 years knocking on the door before taking our rightful place once again with the big boys. What happens after that will once again depend on finance.

3. Forster - Yes
R Martin - Maybe
Drury - Yes (but will need cover)
Doc - Legs may let him down
Nelson - No
Lappin - Yes (but will be one under pressure)
Korey - Yes
Russell - Yes
Wes - Yes (If he moves the ball on quicker - if not he will struggle)
Holt - Yes - will do a job if we get balls in the box
Martin - Yes - will only get better
McNamee - Maybe - Looks full of confidence
Elliott - Not seen enough to judge
Hughes - Yes
Rose - No
Askou - Yes
Cody - Maybe
Oli - Yes
Daley - No

Back four a worry but we do have experience in that department. I think the key to Holt and Martin proving themselves at a higher level will be the quality of their supply.  With two wide players putting quality balls in they will both score plenty. I have no doubt that Holt is good enough a player to survive the step up but he does seem to get too involved with the physical side of things which affects his concentration at times. Still F****** love him though!

Yes, once again we had to put up with Martin failing to run around like a headless chicken. For Christ''s sake the man did hardly anything except score a brilliant goal. How many more chances can he be given before we offload him? [:P]

5. I may be showing my age here but some things obviously never change. As a kid in the mid to late seventies my dad took me and my brother to Norwich v Leeds. I think we lost 1-0 and were in the old South Stand near to the away fans who were then in the present Barclay end. Although there were no official family areas in those days, it was well recognised as a place where it was safe to take kids. On leaving the ground where the hotel now stands, big iron gates were opened to let us out and about 500 Leeds scum came charging in and started picking on a fella with a young son and looking for a fight. I was only about 7 or 8 at the time and it was about my fifth match ever but i''ll never forget the sight. Don''t know who decided to open the gates with all the Leeds fans lining up outside, (probably the police). Does anyone else remember this game?

Judging by the state of some of the ''hoolies'' yesterday, there were probably some who were there all those years ago as some of them looked old enough to draw pensions. (Don''t these old men look ridiculous in Stone Island and Burberry). I saw no trouble, but Lloyds before the match was the best atmosphere i have seen for years and while the game wasn''t a classic, the last five minutes were priceless

6. From the N & P stand you could make out every single person in the Barclay wearing the new kit as the colour is so much different. I think it is better than the orangey yellow we have used recently but a bit of extra thought could have gone into the design. Am i right in thinking it is only for one season. If so may give it a miss

7. Without the benefit of hindsight, how many of you out there would have been happy had we appoined Keane as our manager during the recent (and frequent) changes. I would have been about 70% happy with him as a manager who could probably attract decent players but it just goes to show it is horses for courses when it comes to managers methods working for one club but not others. Mike Walker took us to dizzy heights but struggled at Everton (although may have been different given time). Keane may well turn things around at Portaloo Road (god i hope not) but may run out of time and patience. Martin O''Neill lost his first five games at Leicester and all the fans thought he was absolute rubbish. I hope Lambert proves to be the right one for us and you cannot doubt his passion and commitment.
It is another example of trying to turn someone with pace into a footballer which sadly is the modern way of thinking nowadays. If these young lads do not have blistering pace they stand no chance of progressing through the ranks. Most also need to be six foot athletes to stand a chance (something the Spanish national team have made a mockery of recently) I know it was a different era but John Robertson (ex Forest) smoked 40 a day and was as slow as a steamroller but give him the ball and he would get half a yard and put the ball on a sixpence. This was because he was spotted as a footballer and not as an Olympic standard athlete. Would Jan Molby, one of the greatest players to grace the game, get a look in nowadays because of his build. It is not Daleys fault as he has made the most of the talents he has but has found that all opposing full backs (most of whom were probably scouted as wingers themselves) can match his pace and he needs something extra to make an impact and it is just not there and never will be.
Of course Molby and Robertson would still make it in the game today... but obviously they would have to cut down on some of their bad habits as you rightly say the game has become far quicker.

As for Molby being one of the greatest players to grace the game, I think that you are bigging him up just a little too much there surely???

I''m a fully paid up member of the ''large boned'' footballers union so maybe i was a little biased. He was some player though.

9. I think we will win 5-0 and surprise loan signing Huckerby will score a hat-trick and Cureton will get the other 2 (sorry being really silly now).

We can predict all we like but we have to face facts and after the pre season hype of new signings and friendly victories, we have to admit that we are not very good, even in the third division. It will take time and new faces to turn round this club and even then the ''right man, right club, right time'' factor needs to fall kindly . We need a strong manager with a single minded plan (I think Lambert fits this bill), a squad of players who all want to carry out this plan (probably halfway there) and then confidence from all concerned that the plan will work. If everything clicks in place confidence will build and results will follow. If the plan doesn''t work, the manager gets sacked, if the players don''t like the plan, the manager gets sacked. If the supporters don''t like the plan, tough sh*t. I just hope the plan involves playing some football!

As for tomorrow as a one off game of football, of course we can win but don''t get carried away just yet.

Let me make it clear I wasn''t at Carra rud on that disaterous day but from what I''ve seen so far from Mr Lambert surely after Colchester scored the first goal, they decide that that was good enough and put 10 men behind the ball and handed the the initiative back to us!!!

May be the front man had some pace so managed to chase the hurried clearance from the back and score the extra 6 ??
Luke Daley has ''pace'' [:D]
So does Usain Bolt but it doesn''t make him a footballer!

12. Kick the ball as far forward as we can, allow opposition to run at us as we stand back waiting for them to come forward. Eventually win the ball back and repeat. If Lambert thought we could hold on to a 1-0 lead for 89mins, 43 seconds then he has seen a different defence to me this season. If we were playing Man Utd then fine get a lead and park the bus, but MK Dons. God help us. As seems the case nowadays, training methods seem to be more concerned about where the "coaching manual" tells you to stand when the ball is in a certain area of the pitch, who you have to mark on set pieces and what areas you have to put the ball into. How about spending some time teaching them how to play through teams and not just over the top of them. Simple skills like passing the ball to someone in the same colour kit as you are wearing is obviously not something we spend a lot of time on.

Every day of the week, i had both away and home.....now trying to buy one, these are like rocking horse shyt!!!

i have found a site that sells them, but only have smaller ones!
I''ve got one in size large.

Cost me £50 off ebay but its immaculate. I think it may have been framed or stored away its whole life as the shirt just has no signs of wear anywhere at all.
I think you may have bought that off me. I discovered alcohol at the same time I bought the shirt and it ceased to fit over my beer belly. Was as good as new but i''m glad it has found a good home.
