  1. As a notoriously delicate & fragile item, probably best to keep Matt Jarvis safely behind glass in the trophy cabinet! Joking aside, he''s a cracking player when fit though...
  2. The more I think about it, we''d do well to keep & build a goal-scoring team around James Maddison! If Norwich acquired a decent replacement keeper for Angus, a new left back + two hard-working effective strikers we ''could'' be operating at the top end of the table by October/November. Should that prove not to be the case, we could always sell JM for good money in January...
  3. Yes, I care enough to be interested (well, at least aware) of the competition we face in this league...
  4. Hucks still has that magic ability to draw 2 defenders & then accelerate between them into space to cause more damage. How come Josh Murphy & Co don''t learn to emulate that very effective style of play? Oh, & wasn''t it wonderful to see several big diagonal balls played from right back to left wing to set Hucks away? This season I''ve really missed Norwich completely by-passing midfield with a bit of urgent intent...
  5. Fear not! Kenny McClean will be finding the net here next season. Scored his 10th of the season today...
  6. I doubt many Norwich fans have ever seen Remi (I don''t even know his surname) play...
  7. Perhaps Raggett could play Centre Forward?...
  8. It''s all a bit wishy-washy these days; years ago derby games were much more intense...
  9. Josh seems far too tentative - a disastrous trait in any walk of life! He rarely wins a flick-on header or challenge around the half-way line & I''ve lost count of the times that once disposed,(and typically within one or two opposition passes) we find ourselves defending our own box. Time to field alternative options; Onel Hernandez, Marcus Edwards & even Matt Jarvis will be breathing down his neck shortly...
  10. It''ll be like having a new Premier League standard player in the squad... (£10.75m transfer value in his prime).
  11. Maybe Srbeny will play from the start & do a Leon McKenzie?
  12. He has grace & effectiveness written through him like a stick of rock. How Alex Neil couldn''t see he was (already) ready for the Norwich first team goodness only knows...
  13. I''ve been critical of Oliveira lately - he''s not been great for several weeks. However it would be silly to take him out of the starting line-up against Ipswich. That''s the perfect fixture for him to get his name back on the score sheet...
  14. Tettey galvanises things; the team is proven to be far more effective with him than without. I''d be very happy to see him continue here next season...
  15. In the Upper Barclay I rarely understand what the PA Announcer ever says about things like the Community Hero / Player Awards etc - I just hear folk clapping & take a guess what it may relate to... So yes, a more audible system would be useful!
  16. If Adam Lallana was worth £25m to Liverpool back in 2014, then Maddison ought to be a similar price in 2018...
  17. Has anyone heard Tom Smith actually speak? Doesn''t appear much of a leader so far...
  18. Superb attitude! Wants to win every situation - reminds me of Tony Adams in his early days at Arsenal. Potential Captain material. Those Brentford fans could see his worth...
  19. As with Chris Sutton all those years ago, maybe Sean Raggett will be placed on NCFC''s ''Fast-track Induction Programme'' to become a striker?...
  20. AN was a good fit at Norwich to start with, however he passed his sell-by date here. He seems to be a good fit at Preston - a lot depends on having the right person for the right job at the right time doesn''t it?
  21. Sandie Shaw - she used to wear mini-skirts & sing barefoot didn''t she? Can''t see that happening on the touchline with the cold winter months ahead; DF would have to be a total Puppet on a String to do that...
  22. I''m astounded at Lincolns comments about Stuart Webber: "He talks too much and I don''t like this attitude". Apart from the basic need (especially after Jex Moxey) to keep NCFC fans informed regarding his vision & plans - SW has quietly torn into the task of revolutionising the structure & practices at the club. Thus far he has displayed a remarkable attitude - and I respect him hugely for that. He''s doing exactly what he was brought here to do! Leadership starts at the top; providing we retain SW, his ideologies will permeate down. Unlike some supporters who seem to revel in problems & failures, SW appears to be focussed on finding solutions & success. Hallelujah to that!
  23. Marcus Rashford apart, England have been dreadful! Gareth Southgate doesn''t appear to be very inspirational does he? "zzzzz"
