  1. Totally agree LDC; DF appears to have established a nice balance between respecting the opposition and the winning mentality/self esteem of our own players...
  2. Rejecting interest for our best players will be a key achievement in January; Aarons & Lewis must be on the wish-list of several Premier League clubs...
  3. Morty is serving a ban? Didn't know that. He's alive & well on Twitter...
  4. I''m thrilled for him to reach the England first team; potentially the best play-maker & free-kick specialist since Beckham departed...
  5. We took our youngest to Loftus Rd as part of his 13th birthday weekend; given the drizzly weather & lack of knee-room (so much for ''Gold Standard'' seating!) I''m so glad Norwich got a deserved win. The lads looked confident even during the warm-up - I sense their individual & collective levels of belief have risen considerably since playing at Portman Rd. Nothing lucky about Pukki''s goal; pure instinct to guide the ball into the net. He only had a millisecond & he executed it perfectly. What a gem he is! He tracks back, works hard & is hugely effective with zero fuss. Little wonder he''s drawing early comparison to Grant Holt - let''s hope he continues to prosper... McClaren''s post-match comments about ''luck'' were just daft. Only one team deserved to win & it certainly wasn''t QPR...
  6. Given the high winds, our garden parasol at home in Brundall has been retired to the safety of the shed for the rest of the year. Planning a 5 mile road trip to Acle tonight to watch the NCFC game on Sky; without this action the garden furniture may well have arrived there before I do...
  7. Good-quality component parts are already in place at NCFC - we just need to see them tuned for performance...
  8. I''m totally with you LDC! What we experience in life largely depends on the beliefs & values we filter things through...
  9. As usual, we all have different expectation levels - I wonder what Stuart Webber & Steve Stone''s views are for an ''acceptable performance'' by the NCFC first team this season?
  10. The ''Farke, Farke Sort It Out, Farke Sort It Out!'' chant involved way more than 10 people. I was there & it sounded like several hundred to me - very loud & clear. The opposition must have loved hearing that being sung. Shows the underlying level of discontent amongst NCFC fans, that''s for sure...
  11. Abuse is likely to escalate the situation; forgiveness is the answer to build goodwill. Not expecting a round of ''There''s only one Simon Hooper!'' though...
  12. Given the lack of vocal support in the ground, those who ''Marched to CR'' must be woefully unfit; they seemed to use what little energy they possessed before they even went through the turnstiles...
  13. Should Norwich continue to achieve an average of 0.5 points per game and fail to beat Ipswich, I wouldn''t expect Daniel Farke to remain at the club...
  14. We have 2 x ST''s in the Upper Barclay - 1 Adult & 1 u-21 for a 12 y/o. We received a new u-21 ticket for 2018/19 season - no idea why?
  15. Just seen the Paderborn vs Norwich goals; ouch - even more concerned about the low standard of our GK''s now! Thankfully Pukki looks goal-orientated at the sharp end...
  16. My hunch (fear) all along is we have weak GK''s following Angus departure. I imagine SW/DF have been working on it for a good while though - new appointment shortly I would think...
  17. I''m reasonably optimistic about defence, midfield & attack - having never seen him play, I''m unsure about the GK though. Think we''ll miss Angus...
  18. I hope SW & DF are not ''just'' meeting Rhodes for a chat about a potential loan; we need to dig deep & unearth what he really thinks about working as Centre Forward for Norwich City. It''s a fabulous job - and Rhodes was once a fabulous finisher - it could be a match made in heaven, or a complete disaster. Tricky one to gauge; I really like him as a player however he comes across as detached & a bit morose. Having said that, most strikers would be relish the prospect of being well-fed by a creative midfield & even Rhodes might be getting mildly excited by what we already have in place...
  19. His finishing looks the closest I''ve seen to Grant Holt - so yes from me...
  20. As a notoriously delicate & fragile item, probably best to keep Matt Jarvis safely behind glass in the trophy cabinet! Joking aside, he''s a cracking player when fit though...
