Following Doc''s departure, do you think Lambert will go out and buy another Centre Back in as a replacement, and do we need another Centre Back? Or do you think we''ll be lining up with current NCFC defenders such as Whitbread, Askou and Nelson or possibly even Spillane next season across the middle at the back? Discuss. [:)]

Re: The Doc is on his bike......
Wesbian replied to SUPER YELLOW CANARY 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes, another Doc thread. Sorry! What sort of club does everyone think he will go to and in what league? Also, is there anyone who wouldn''t give Doc a good reception if he ever lined up against us? He''s been a great servant for the club and one of our top performers this season, always gave %100 even when he was heavily targeted for criticism by our fans. I admire that about the Doc and think EVERYONE should give him a good reception, no questions. Saying that, there''s always a few who disagree and decide to boo ex-players regardless... -
Carlisle at home - fancy dress - Paul Lambert Day
Wesbian replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It''s a shame Lambert is in the stands for the Gills game and not the Carlisle game. Seeing so many people dressed up as him, he''d be beside himself! [:)] -
What ever happened to the guy who threw his season ticket at Gunny against Colchester? I bet he''s feeling awfully stupid now! [:P]

Win tomorrow and we are up!!
Wesbian replied to Red Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We''ll be as good as up. If we win, it''s then impossible for Millwall and Charlton to catch us, leaving Leeds and Swindon the only teams who can catch us and even Swindon can only get level with us so they won''t make up the goal difference. Honestly, i still want the title though! OTBC! -
Leyton Orient vs Norwich: Unofficial Match Thread
Wesbian replied to Excited Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I know we have no one to replace him with but Elliot is a waste of space. I''d rather Cody come on to give us something different.Come On Norwich! -
P.S. and even then it would need either Leeds or Swindon to overtake us on G.D. Even more unlikely! [:D]
-
If we win tomorrow and Leeds lose, it will need at least 2 teams out of Swindon, Millwall and Leeds to win all of their games. Which is seriously improbable as Millwall still have Swindon to play. Still, let''s concentrate on what we do! If we keep winning, we needn''t look at the other teams [:)]
-
That last minute had little effect on us, let''s just hope it scares Leeds into messing up tomorrow. [:D] Just puts them on level points with leeds in third. Therefore, if Leeds lose and we win, we''re still up. [:D]OTBC!

That would put Leeds 12 points behind. At least 12 goals behind (that''s if they lose 1-0 and we win 1-0) with Beckford up front.. I think we''ll be alright [:)]
-
If Swindon lose tonight and Leeds lose tomorrow against Carlisle. If we win we''re up [:D]It''s a long shot but would be nice to wrap it up before the tougher games without Holty and Wes.

I think the ''racist chants'' were a myth fabricated by a child trying to exagerate a point. I''m not saying it definitely was because every club has a few prats who are likely to such pathetic, unnecessary abuse. But i find it hard to believe that our fans would shout racist chants, what with four of the Norwich players who featured in the game were black. Still, i am dissapointed by the behaviour of some Norwich supporters. I like to think of us as a family club and it seems a shame when the minority do something like this. I''d like people to come to Carrow Road and enjoy their visit (despite going home with no points with any luck). I hope it was a lie because i''m strongly against racism and think it''s sickening when it comes into sport. I think some foolish fans just get carried away when their emotions get the better of them and act before thinking things through.

Not if, but when..... Promotion countdown
Wesbian replied to Bill's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Depends who we win against i suppose, wins against Leeds and Charlton are effectively worth 6 points and will pretty much send us up unless we cock it up bigtime against the clubs in the bottom half. But i don''t think Lambert is the sort to let that happen - best manager we''ve had for a very long time.OTBC! -
Apparently Peter Cullum has returned to form too!

Isn''t that what happened with that Shinawatra guy at Man City? I heard it happened shortly after his assets were frozen... -

Wesbian replied to Canary_on_the Trent's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If Mcnamee wasn''t our main threat, i would''ve thought we would have reverted back to the diamond. Against a struggling team at home, it seems silly having wingers trying to whip crosses in for only Holty and Martin to aim at in the box when a team like Southend will probably lie deep and absorb our pressure, we''re unlikely to be able to whip crosses behind the back of defenders, they''ll be dropping deeper and deeper to keep us out now. -
i never knew this happend

That explains his reluctancy to go into the opposition''s half, after all that''s where all the shooting happens -

Anyone with any legal knowledge who can estimate how much we are likely to get off of them? i''d take about 25 mil. -
What a great appearance off the bench, setting up the goal and acting as an outlet with his pace whenever we were back defending in the last minutes. Cracking signing from Lambert and looks like he''s becoming somewhat of a fan''s favourite. Keep it up lads! Everyone confident he can fill in for Holty while he''s suspended? Or do you think Lambert will change formation? OTBC!

Does anyone know of a bigger version of the picture of Lappin: http://www.pinkun.com/content/pinkun/norwich-city/story.aspx?brand=PINKUNOnline&category=Norwich&tBrand=PINKUNOnline&tCategory=xDefault&itemid=NOED17%20Jan%202010%2019:18:49:750 I think it''d make a superb desktop wallpaper :) OTBC!

If that doesn''t stop the opening day of the season being constantly mentioned, then surely nothing will. What a performance, chuffed to bits :) Rarely been prouder to be a Norwich fan, particularly happy with the front 4 (Wes, Chrissy, OJ and Holty) and thought Nelson had a cracking game. OTBC!

Watch Norwich Colchester on t'Internet
Wesbian replied to Grant Holts Moustache's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
My Mistake, all the same. I think i''ll stick with the pinkun live update service that they kindly provide for us. It''s been a god send this season as far as i''m concerned and with the kind of lag that accompany live streams, it''ll probably be way ahead of the streams as well. OTBC! -

Wesbian replied to Grant Holts Moustache's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It also says the startime is at 16:00 and goes on until 18:00. More evidence that it''s a faulty stream if it doesn''t even get the kick off time right.
