Cliche, but...........................
Emotional Rex replied to Norma Stick's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
For a second there I thought we were signing an Arsenal left back and an ex Manure/Newcastle midfielder! -
2-0 city Chris Martin both of them . Up yours to all who ridicule him
Nice one Chrissy! I hope you''re right.
Another decent game yesterday although at times he wasted great crossing opportunities and was nervy against Commons. But does every decent game he has warrant an appreciation thread?
Well it seemed like everything he did that was less than perfect warranted a new thread complaining about him. -
Required ASAP for full effect in the office. Come on Sportsdesk Pete. Don''t hang about mate!
Our fantastic support??? I thought that appart from us stood in the back 4 rows, our support was shocking last night. Everyone sat down not making a noise, until half time came and they all stood up and started chatting. Then the refs whistle went for the start of the second half and they all sat down again. Awful support
Agreed that most of the noise came from the back, but just because people choose to sit down doesn''t make it "awful support". I''m 6''-3", I don''t suppose many behind me would appreciate me standing all through the game[:P]

Scunthorpe Match report on www.dh6.co.uk
Emotional Rex replied to hucks@dh6.co.uk's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
There were many occasions when the play was so compressed that a player like Hucks could have had a field day out wide. I bet he thought that too.[;)] -

Video of David Fox press conference
Emotional Rex replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Lambkins does seem a bit relaxed about everything doesn''t he? He''s quite pally with Fox. Nice to see him let his guard down for a change. -
Gunny is guest co-presenter for the whole show on this weeks "The Coca-Cola Football League Podcast". Not much time given to the Canaries, but as usual he''s pretty non-committal. I''m sure he still, deep down, wants City to succeed, but he just can''t bring himself to show it. He seems to be cropping up a fair bit in the media though. Also I didn''t realise, (although plenty of you probably already knew), Gunny''s son is in the academy 14 year olds. Must be quite awkward for the lad at times.
I put Doherty in the January pot because I prefered Nelson until Lambert finds another Askou. I don''t dislike the Doc as he gives 100% and aslong as its a high ball he''s great, but there''s better and cheaper on the wage bill out there.
You preferred Nelson?[8-)]

12 kings lynn players have left the club
Emotional Rex replied to I am a Banana's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Who gives a flying fig about Kings Lynn? They just take up time on Radio Naaarflk when they could be talking about Norwich City. -

Thanks for all the advice everybody. I was in Vegas nearly 20 years ago so I''m expecting a few changes! If I can''t watch the match live, maybe I''ll just sit by the pool and let the bikini clad waitresses bring me another beer to drown my sorrows. [H][B]I can always wath the Sky recording when I get home. -

I''ll be in Las Vegas when the Leeds v City game is screened live. It will kick off about mid-day Vegas time. Does anyone know where or whether I will be able to see the game televised? Any well known casinos or sports bars? Thanks[:D] -
being the right person in charge! Why oh why does he insist on playing Cureton? What exactly has Cureton done for the last year? It''s not like he sets up chances for other players either! He has started the last 3 games and he''s done nothing apart from one lob, that he put over the bar against Wycombe. And can someone please tell me what Hoolahan has done wrong. Ok, if there isn''t a place in the midfield, well play him upfront alongside Holt. It just seems Lambert has his favourites and Cureton is one of them for god''s know''s what reason. This is the first time Lambert has really annoyed me and I''m starting to think, it could become a regular thing!
Yep. Lambert out![;)]

Player Ratings - Norwich City v Walsall
Emotional Rex replied to Mister Chops's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Holt will struggle against bigger, stronger and faster defenders than himself.
[^o)]Very astute. I think that applies to Messi, Ronaldo, Kaka and all. It''s a bit harsh to single out Holt.
