1. Feels good man, I was bricking it before the game, individually we weren''t even that good but Adkins tactics and the performance and as a team was quality. Should have the Ramirez and Phillips signings wrapped up 2mo, then just gotta buy a new defence and we''re good to go.
2. ^ That, wage wise I doubt our combined signings are notably more then Readings or West Hams, the only difference is we''ve gone for young quality rather then 30 year olds who will be worth bugger all in a year or two. Reading were rumoured to have given Pogrebnyak 65k a week, yet we sign a better player for less wages and everyone gets in a hissy fit just because he''s actually worth it.
3. He''s gonna be on 60k, so high but not outlandish, a fair price for a top international.

We also have no debt and they paid off all owed money in full when we exited administration, which we only went into from building a new stadium.
Take it you were not working for one of the local companies that were shafted then and had their businessess ruint - all at the expense of football. Football should be a game played between to sides not something that ruins peoples lives. I quite liked Southampton your comments have just changed that.
None of them did, they were all paid in full, the only people we made a deal with was Norwich Union who cut about 4mill off the remaining mortgage on the stadium in return for having it paid outright. You are just butthurt and have no idea what you''re talking about.
So jelly, haters gonna hate.

7. Feelsgoodman, my mind is still blown that were actually gonna pull it off, amazing
8. Yeah was gonna say the same, I think there''s a good 8 or so that could be involved. I think West Ham will stay up because of Allardyce''s effective hoof ball, Reading I''m unsure on, and we''re a bit of an unknown quantity still. Yeah Lambert leaving was my main reason for thinking you''d struggle this year, as long as Holt reproduces last seasons form you should be fine though I think. Saints'' main issue is still our centre backs, both of them need replacing urgently, the rest of the team is pretty much fine, but our centre backs are pretty dire, Clyne is by far our best signing.
9. Barely seem a prem game I mean, can''t see the edit button...
10. Yeah I had Wigan, West Brom and yourselves tbh, but I''ve barely seen a game since we''ve been out of the prem so no idea really! We''ll go down for certain with our current squad but we''ll be bringing it at least another 3 more players, I wouldn''t be suprised to see us spend another 15+mill, we just take ages with transfers. I''m not hugely into Jay tbh, I wanted Rhodes or Hooper personally and he''s keeping Sharp out the team who I think is a better player, can see Sharp being our top scorer if he gets enough game time.
11. Sup, thought I''d come on and wish you guys good luck for the coming season. Being a Saints fan I haven''t been on here since we were both in league 1, so nice to see how both clubs have came on over the last few years. Be interesting to hear how you lot think you''re gonna get on this year and how you think we might get on, think you''ve strengthened enough to avoid trouble again?
12. Matthias - Our recent history is basically as follows:Rupert Lowe took the club into administration by spunking all our money on nice catering, radio stations and expensive rugby coaches thus running up debts because we sold all of our players to pay for it which got us relegated. We got taken over by a guy with no money, George Burley spent silly money poorly, the money got screwed up more so he had the masterstroke of bringing back Rupert Lowe as chairman, who sells everything some more and sacks nigel pearson to replace him with a dutch conference manager which strangely got us relegated. Run out of money so get put into admin to find a buyer and if one isn''t found to sell everything to pay off the debts. Marcus Liebherr buys the club, pays off all debts and moonwalks on water. And we got a minus ten point deduction for going into admin. He bought us because we cost around £13million, plus around that again in debt paid off. £26 million For a club with premier league infrastructure, a big catchment area, decent history and now a stadium entirely paid for and no debt that''s an absolute bargain. All of the players and training ground improvements are being paid for entirely out of his back pocket and the club is still in zero debt so it''s not making the same mistakes again, he''s just absolutely minted and a generally god like.
13. Sad Little Canary - We didn''t wipe out our debt, every penny owed was paid. We''ve also just had a planning application approved for a new multimillion pound training ground, thus helping the economy.  We got the money from being bought by and having our debts paid off by Marcus Liebherr, a Swiss/German billionaire/hero, we were well overdue a bit of luck and we''ve definitely got it so stop sulking.
14.
Will score more than you''re bloke. Plus you are bottom of the league and smell of wee and poo and Portmouth are a bigger club and yhou have Pardew. Is that childish enough for you.[;)] Nice talking to you, go on home sunny to your little red board. Ta ta sweetie.
Lol good luck with the Shrewsbury striker, I''ll leave you to it.
