6.
Rob Butler is a total moron.
Why do you say that ? How can Rob Butler be described as a total moron ? What I think is verging on moronic is someone resorting to that sort of abusive insult to describe a local radio presenter who is clearly passionate about our club and puts forward views and opinions which can hardly be described as extreme, whether you agree with them or not. I''m afraid it''s you who are the idiot.
 7. Well Priceyrice and LDC and your other hoppo, Morty,I find your complacency breathtaking. We''re sinking fast, missing opportunity after opportunity to pick up points against clubs outside the top 6, and you are calmly talking about saving our season with 3 points against Arsenal in the last game of the season. Fulham, with "nothing to play for" except a pride that our players seem not to possess, beat us 6-0 in the last game of the season and down we went.
 8.
We''ll beat Arsenal. They won''t give a **** by then. And Manure is worth a point. In other words, chillax Dave.
Ah, yes, like Fulham 15th May 2005. A newspaper article that weekend stated : Norwich are unique among the 92 members of the four divisions in their failure to record a single victory outside their own ground. "If you can''t win you certainly need to pick up points by drawing away from home," said the manager Nigel Worthington. They have gathered only seven of them.
 9. NO. However, I do empathise with Ricardo''s position i.e. that the replacement manager will probably fare no better. That having been said, having supported Hughton right through to the end of last year and then witnessing the dross of Boxing Day against Fulham and subsequent matches (Spurs and yesterday being the rare exceptions), I am now very much of the view that a change may be for the good and if it isn''t well at least we tried.
 10.

At the Southampton game, the 3 "fans " in front of me booed Almander when he came on. Along with a load of other fans. Disgraceful and don''t pretend it didn''t happen.
I''ve been watching that Salamander series on TV. Really enjoying it.
Making light of it doesn''t make it any better.
I''m not making light of it. It''s hardly a sitcom. looking forward to the next episode. The last one ended on a cliff hanger. As for booing players etc, that subject has become so booring that I can''t be bothered discussing it anymore.

 12.
Awww Snoots, you still crying about that? Elmander WAS booed at the Stoke home game, and he has also had sung "Fuck off Elmander, we''d rather have Holt" So don''t try and tell me theres nothing in this.
Ah, it''s good old sheepdog Morty, the know all who calls people knobs and morons. Crying doesn''t come into it so please don''t be so snidey. The discussion/argument that we had the other day was about the booing at the Southampton game when Elmander most definitely was not singled out by the fans who booed. And, for the record, I don''t agree with fans booing any players (or the manager) but my feeling at the match (I wasn''t at the Stoke match so can''t comment) was that it was Hughton and the sudden introduction of three subs after we were 2-0 down that spontaneously provoked booing and instantaneously became a chant of "you don''t know what you''re doing". As for tomorrow, I hope that no fans boo either players or manager and instead unite behind the team and the club.
 13.

In my mind it wasn''t the introduction of Elmander that upset the fans, it was the withdrawal of Hooper for Redmond that was signaled just as Elmander entered the pitch. You can never question Johan''s commitment to the cause, he offers good link up play and gives 100%. http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/johan_elmander_can_win_over_the_norwich_city_boo_boys_1_3459746
Spot on Mr Matt and most fans realise it they''re honest.
Morty doesn''t ! I felt it was spontaneous and provoked by a combination of factors but IMO the booing was definitely not aimed at Elmander.
 14. Well, Indy, having looked at Swansea''s remaining fixtures I''m far from sure they will get more than 6 points.
 15.

Warren - Excellent reply, well done mate. You represent everything that is wrong with this board now. Morty - Tell me i am wrong. Have you ever heard any of our players talk about Hughton like this?
What no swear words? Bit early for the pub though, eh? [:D]
How about "knob", your mate Morty seems to be fond of calling people that.
 16.

There were time under Roeder, Worthy and other managers where the atmosphere was acidic from the start! Do you not remember these times? I certianly do.
And that makes it okay?
And where have I said it''s OK? I''ve said that the fans react to what is played out on the pitch!
Anyone who thinks booing and jeering players, especially during a game, is a moron.
Can''t even have a peaceful lunch and browse the Pink Un MB without encountering good old faithful sheepdog Morty rounding up dissenters. Don''t you ever rest ? Are you still banging on about booing ?! I told you yesterday and I''m telling you today that the booing on Saturday was not aimed at the players. There is no point to your argument. However, I was really p_d off with Snodgrass on Saturday. How dare he come across to the away fans and gesticulate rudely at us. There is absolutely no excuse for such behaviour. There is no justification for players abusing fans during games. Anybody who thinks players jeering and booing fans , especially during a game, is (justified) is a moron. (deep sigh of satisfied indignation). But, of course, Snodgrass didn''t, I just made up the false premise so I could scramble up to the moral high ground and deliver a self-satisfying lecture from on high. Sit, Morty sit ! good dog. Have another biscuit.

There isn''t a single argument in the Hughton debate that I haven''t heard expressed hundred''s of times before and about lots of different City manager''s. When things are going badly the manager eventually gets shown the door and I can confirm the truth of that all the way back to Norman Lowe and Tom Parker. When was supporting ever anything other than a roller-coaster ride?Ans why do so many think the future is going to be somehow different to the past?
Well, I certainly can''t argue with any of that (it was ever thus) even though I must confess I''m in an argumentative mood !

" We all heard the chant of "you don''t know what you''re doing" and it''s just as moronic as booing. What a pathetic person you must be if you can''t see what a negative effect that would have not just on the substitutes but the whole team. You''re making yourself out to be a great supporter because you showed up but you''re not. A supporter is someone who supports the team but you''re not supporting them, you''re demoralising them with your moronic chants.
Oh, do read what was written earlier in the thread before expanding your chest and huffing and puffing like an out of breath bullock. Where did I say that I chanted "you don''t know what you''re doing" ? Here''s a simple summary for you. Please pay attention : Morty stated authoritatively that the Norwich fans had booed the players and seemed also to suggest Elmander in particular. I said, no they didn''t, that I was there and it was clear to me that the fans were booing the management team, NOT the players, and this seamlessly became a chant of "you don''t know what you''re doing etc etc ...." I also stated that, personally, I don''t boo players but, granted, I omitted to add that neither did I chant "you don''t know what you''re doing ..." at Hughton (even though I''m afraid that I don''t disagree with the assertion).

 20.
Yeah, that makes no sense whatsoever Snoots. So, to recap. You tried to make a point perhaps about me not being allowed an opinion on the subject because I wasn''t at the game, but we essentially agree that booing players is wrong and counter productive.Probably best we leave it there[Y]
No, I didn''t think it would make sense to you Morty.
