1.
I have never scored in a competitive game sadly!best has come at school though... I got the ball and took a touch so the ball looped in front of me, as it came down I lifted it over the keeper from about 35 yards..... you could pass me a ball 1 million times and i''d never be able to do it again!i dont score goals... so everyone was sweet! Also scored a Marco Van Basten (vs russia) at the park with my mates once...
quality :)
 2.

I''ve scored 400+ Sunday league goals, including some absolute belters but my favourite was from about 6 yards. We were 2-1 down at home against the league leaders, last game of the season and we had to win to take the division. 5 minutes to go we equalised, they were still quite relaxed as we had to win. 2 minutes left, cross came in from the right, I edged ahead of the defender and flicked it past the stranded keeper in to the bottom corner. Cue title in the bag and absolutely insane celebrations. Those were the days !
Nice. Very nice. Its good to have a goal in this list that wasn''t spectacular per se, but meant so much more due to context. Were your opponents on their knees punching the floor Sammy Kuffour style (Man utd 2 in injury time - Bayern 1) ?
They were utterly gutted. Particularly nice as their CB had spent the entire game telling me how crap I was! Pretty sure I celebrated that one with a "Gazza" dentist chair routine .....

 4. I''m going to dig out my home Asics shirt now then and flog it.Also got a long sleeved Hummel Poll & Withey from 83/84 I think.....
 5. I should add some of these include food, tickets etc!
 6. Anyone received their corporate brochure today? It''s amazing what we will charge for.... £199 to be mascot £175 to access post match press conf £150 to start OTBC before kick off £200 to be in squad pic £23,000 for a box in the Jarrold!
 7. I had a couple of pints in Old Orleans before the game, and there were quite a few Leeds fans in there. TBH it was fairly good natured, but a bit irritating with their WACCOE song going on and on. I had a chat to one of their guys at the bar and he was a decent chap, no bother at all. I play footy with a couple of guys who work at the club, and the announcement in the away section was that Leeds fans were being kept back after the final whistle "for their own safety". As another poster has said, I believe they forced their way out of the ground, there just wasn''t enough of a police presence to stop them.
 8. We''ll be fine. I shall be celebrating in Yellows after a fine victory!
 9.
Hold on Boyo!! To say that Martin is just as good/bad as Semmy is outrageous!! Semmy is woeful at best and liability. I would pick Marting ahead of him every time.
I''d pick my Nan to play ahead of Semi.
 10.
He resembled a very average pub player in the JPT game v Brentford. Not one of Gunny''s best aquisitions I fear...
There is actually an explanation as to why he was so poor against Brentford. It''s not a good reason mind you......
 11.
WTF is going on? Any money that was available is now spent. Spent by a manager, who has been sacked 1 week into the season. We make Newcastle look professional in comparison.
I thought I was pieman.........
 12. It''s shit in Yarmouth, regardless of the weather.
 13.
I was just thinking about all the youngsters that came through around 96/97 from the same u18''s side. Darren Kenton Che Wilson Adrian Forbes Chris Llewellyn Craig Bellamy Adrian Coote Drewe Broughton all made their first team debuts within a few months of 1 another, could be similar this coming season, strange how their respective careers turned out. We all knew Bellamy would make it at the top level, whilst most of the others only made it in the lower leagues
I met Adrian Coote on holiday in Florida when he was playing for Colchester. He was smoking like a trooper, and out on the beer every day. It''s amazing how he didn''t make it.
 14.

I think we need Docherty in league one.  To the people who want him out, who else would we get better??????????
My Nan''s available.
Available to replace The Doc that is, not for any other reason!!

 16. I fully expect to get slaughtered for this, but I did see him in Yarmouth Tesco''s a couple of weeks back.....
 17. I was told, by someone with very strong Colney collections, that if Omaringe didn''t make it then it would be down purely to lack of effort. Apparently has all the ability in the world but just doesn''t want it badly enough.
 18. Wasn''t Sam Habergam one of the kids of Soccer AM''s Skill Skool? He had amazing skills, if he can transfer any of that to the pitch he''s got a chance of being a decent player.
 19. I work with a firm whose owners are friends of Alan Lee. They are adamant he really enjoyed playing for us, and doesn''t want to sign for anyone except us. Apparently it meant alot to him the way we accepted him after just a couple of games.
