1.
I just posted that we should walk away too, but thinking about it, knowing Lambert he won''t splurge money on someone he doesn''t believe in. If we end up bringing in Morison for about £3.5m - yes it will be expensive, but if Lambert thinks it''s worth it, then it''s worth it.
Trouble is we aint used to dealing in this kind of cash are we?!! I really dont know what he is worth nowadays. The market is so inflated.
2. Walk away, i think we are being fairly tight but we dont want to go chucking cash around. Clubs know we have got some dosh to spend and each and every club wants to squeeze as much out as possible. Tell them to go forth and multiply!
3. Chairman said yesterday he will be earning 25-30k next season. Do we pay that highly???? I dont think so and bloody hope not either.
4. My point for a while now, CMS over him all day for me. However we will prob get neither!!!
5. You dont know till he gets a chance to prove himself. Why cant he be prem class? If he isnt, then is any of our squad prem class? How many goals does he need to score before you class him as prem class? was dj cambell? was beckford when he was signed for everton? Is holt prem class? In lambert i trust and trust me, he was not willing to shell out 2.5 mil in march for a player he didnt think was going to make it next season. I look forward to his arrival alot more than vaughans i am affraid, but i trust our boss. Why wouldn''t we?
6.
Not convinced about CMS. His stats from last season are superb - banged in 0.6 goals a game. But he''s had his chance at a higher level when in the Champ with Posh, and disappointed. I very much he doubt he would make an impact in the PL. Nicky Maynard is my striker of choice. Lambert best be quick though as with clubs like QPR sniffing about these prime players wont be on the market for long.
Please do not judge him on his previous championship season, it doesnt do him justice. He got double figures in the championship with a sh*t team that finished rock bottom. Is that really that bad? CMS suits our style of play. He can hold the ball up very well and keeps it, he is lightning quick, never gives up, chases all day long, good in the air, finishes well, isnt a billy big balls and wont be demanding high wages. Perfect for the way we play. Maynard and long, i do not rate as highly, good players yes, but similar players to jackson for me. Give the chap a chance! I think he would do us proud with some good service.

9. Me too, reckon he was told to hang on, get us up if you can and then you can go. Fair play to him never chucked his toys out of his pram, just cracked on doing his job. Sign him up, could be signing of the season for me. I think once he gets a taste of playing at grounds like old trafford, he will want more of it.
10. Surely he wont screw it up again. He only has a year left on his contract, he knows he wont be renewing that is public knowledge. He needs to get what he can for him and i don''t expect that figure to be more than 2.5 - 3 million. Basically what we offered previously for me, or maybe a bit less. Like i said not many people willing to take gambles like Sir Lambert!
11. Sorry just posted a similar comment in new thread. You will find my comments there!
12. I have seen CMS play and Long play several times this year and imo CMS''s all round game is much better than Longs is. He is quicker, works harder, good in the air, stronger and can hold the ball up very well. Not much in it when it comes to finishing. Long admitted himself he did not play well the other night so people, please do not be blinded by his MOM award and his 2 goals, although very well taken. I understand that CMS has been playing inferior opposition all year but my opinion still stands, he has that wow factor when he plays. I believe that CMS will join us over the summer. Barry ''fatso'' Fry was on Talksport last night and said he will definately not be playing at Posh next season. He added he will be playing in the premier league as if the deal has already been done. Read into that what you will, but I cant think of too many PL managers who would take a punt a league one player, apart from Lambert. Can you? I would welcome them both at Carrow Road but If I had to pick one it would be CMS. Cheaper and for me the better player. Your thoughts?
13. Morty thanks very much. I will ignore the clever comment from sing up the river end! Morty, You are spot on. I phoned up, heard i was 8th in line and thought i know where will help!!! I will call back tomorrow. Cheers.
14. Can anyone help? I am looking at getting a buy back ticket for coventry game. Do you have to be down the ground early doors? if anyone would like to inform me of the buyback rules it would be much appreciated. OTBC
15. Not completely sure on this but i think buy backs go on sale the day of the match from a certain time. I think you have to go to the ground for them. Like i said that is just what i previously heard. Can anyone confirm or deny this as i want to try and get a buy back myself and i dont mind camping out if i have to!!!
16. Are cardiff not playing saturday and monday? hope so cos bellars cant possibly play so many games so close to eachother!
17. I think it is because of the bank holidays and double pay scenario with suffolk police. It was originally scheduled for friday i think then got moved. Makes you wonder why they don''t just play it saturday afternoon at 3pm. Let''s face it no more trouble would occur at that time than it would at 19:45 when people are off the following day.
18. Completely sold out. Tried to get one yesterday, not a seat in the house.
19. Normally find him quite good but that comment he just made got my goat! Fool! Could be sour grapes or could just be the national media doing the usual and ignoring us completely. Which by the way is fine with me, its what happened last year and we just went about our business!
20. just a thought..... I have previously watched sport/sky sports programmes on justin tv. Now i have seen at the bottom of every users page they have what they have previously shown. that is where i would try old buddy, old pal!
21. Agree with most of what you say city however, looking at Cardiff''s run in i am really struggling to see where they are going to drop too points. Don''t get me wrong i hope they do but cant see them not winning alot of games Doony A - 3 Shef u A - 3 Pompy H - 3 Qpr H - 1 Preston A - 3 Boro H - 3 Burnly A - ? So up to the last game they will have got 16 from 18pts. I know they could slip up, like all of us. As for us: Swan A - 0 Wat A - 3 Forest H - 1 Scum A - 1 Derby H - 3 Pompy A - 1 Cov H - 3 I see us having 82 points. If we can win at scum or swans that will give us 84/85 i think that might just do it. Swansea & leeds do have it quite hard so we should be able to hold them off but Cardiff do worry me! All these figures and fixtures are scrambling my brain just can''t wait for things to be a bit clearer! If things go our way this weekend we could well be 7pts clear then i will be getting excited!
22. Googler I Feel exactly the same me old fruit! Cant wait to get these games out of the way and have been the same since about mid January!! As for the internationals, I feel the same there as well! Don''t get to many games as i work nearly every saturday so i get my buzz from listening to radio norfolk from 2pm onwards on a matchday! May i just add that they are doing a fantastic job on matchdays! Is 83 points going to be enough? I have us finishing on 82-83 this season.
23. Fair point bury yellow. Players still dont take kindly to being slated like that but if it for a chance in the prem and heavier pockets who knows hey
