I thought about this the other day... At home matches, girls screaming if there was a dangerous attack on our goal... Anyone else remember this? -

Whose car is it anyway?

Only if they'd been caught/convicted. Might have done a runner... Anyway foreign student or someone who's returned home seems more plausible. Especially given the Saudi plates -

Yes I've noticed that. Definitely been abandoned. I think it's a Porsche Panamera. My first thought was drug dealer I have to say. Based on **** all đ I've just googled it... -

I'm hearing Go Johnny, go Johnny, go Johnny, go Johnny, go go go To the tune of Go Buddy go! By the Stranglers. -
Listened to Rattus Norvegicus, the first album by the Stranglers, from start to finish last night, it's a long time since I did that...

I think I was there for that one. I seem to recall a handful of Man Utd fans (game cancelled or something) thought it would be a good idea to come into our end, they got short shrift from the Norwich fans though. I also recall it was a snowy drive back to Yarmouth through the edge of the peak district. -

A good vinyl hi-fi system st up, is the best sound you'll get from music. Pi.sses all over CD and other digital formats. Can cost you a lot of money (and space) though. Depends how much money you have to or want to throw at it. Facebook marketplace a good source for upgrades, and have a look in charity shops for vinyl. I also guarantee you'll see ABBA and the Carpenters and musical soundtracks that your mum and dad used to have đ Although I sometimes hear the argument that reel to reel is the best, but not ever having access to one, I can't comment. -

That's not what I'm picking up from this thread at all. -
It was Victoria Derbyshire, but it wasn't JRM, but another chinless wonder I'd not heard of. First interviewee on from the HOC lobby.

Newsnight last night was questioning a Tory MP who was defending the Rwanda policy (of course) and the interviewer said that at current expected rates (a couple of hundred a year or suchlike) and the current backlog, it would take 500 years or something to clear.
-
Tiny Rishi soon to tell us how wonderful he is, how wonderful the Tory party is, and how they're carrying out the "will of the people" with the wonderful Rwanda plan.

Brilllliant.

What a ridiculous state of affairs (as if we didn't already know it) that Trump and Biden are the best that the US can put up as candidates.

Vera, TV detective. Annoys the hell out of me. The hat, the coat, the accent, the ponderous plotlines... -
Yep, yellow legs and eyes good pointers for a sparrowhawk. Lovely.

I've often wondered how Spitting Image would have portrayed Rishi Sunak...
