[ quote user="Doc''s Big Nose at the Heart of the Defence" ] Francomb: 7. Expecting him to be the next academy product to break into the first team. Askou: 7. Started off really well but unlucky with injuries. Hughes: 7. Was our best player early in the season but got injured at the wrong time. Performance of the season Vs. Leeds away. Adeyemi: 6. Still very young but will certainly break into the first team soon. Elliot: 6. Scored cruciall goals against Hudders but has been average apart from that. [ /quote ]Francomb has had as good a season as Askou and Hughes, and a better one than Adeyemi and Elliot? No he hasn''t.

have we got investment...?
Henry VIII replied to singing canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i was having a scan round various rumour pages last night ,not only did i come up with some players that i feel would be very good signings ,also Norwich are about to receive investment or possible takeover. But you have to ask yourself this question . 1... Lambert has been told he will receive funds....where from ?? we are 20 odd million in debt .and still more than likely smarting after relegation. Delia has said before ," we wont let anyone know how much money we have because other teams would want more for players " maybe im putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 here but...... my point is ,after relegation the club must have taken a body blow financially ,as well as having to buy in 11 players . the bookies have surprised me with the odds on us doing better than many championship team next season . i realise we get television money ,but that is not a vast amount ,and considering the amount of debt we have, that could be swallowed easily ..... to compete in the championship ,we need to spend some money and i feel i am being realistic in saying that . i am confident with the players we have ,yet i think we need to add 5 or 6 good championship standard players to give ourselves a good shout . thoughts ... .
None. -

Best pub to drink near stadium today
Henry VIII replied to dezmondo18's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Unless you want to queue up for half an hour in the ''away'' pub, I''d recommend staying at London Bridge for as long as possible -
Not yet worthy of a song.

How much did our new players cost?
Henry VIII replied to O.T.B.C's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
How much do you reckon we payed for Whitbred, Mcnamee, Martin and Johnson. In order I would estimate that we payed 300k, 300k, 250k and 100k. What do you reckon? And where did the money come from and is there more but will we have to sell?
I doubt we paid much more than £150-200k for the lot of them. Transfer fees at this level are often nominal, and more to do with contracts coming up and getting players on the wage books.
