  1. And a follow up text states: "He is our best attacking midfielder. Has he fulfilled his potential? No. Not yet!"
  2. Friend who is a big PSV fan and watches them every week texted me this yesterday: "Very annoying player for opponents. Can play really well but has games where he does not turn up."

  4. Norwich connected jailbids that spring immediately to mind are Peter Mendham, Elvis Hammond, the aforementioned Ched Evans and there are a couple more lurking at the back of my mind (help please). We''ve had our fair share of dodgy characters. Which is probably an unfair thing for me to say because the whole hero or villain thing is just far too simplistic for human beings, footballers being no exception. Mr Bellamy is a prime example - his fantastic charity work and his somewhat petulant character...
  5. "perhaps you missed the signature at the bottom of the post" Nope, didn''t miss it......
  6. When I read the title I thought the OP was changing his name and persona. Alas...
  7. "there are NO targets as there is never any certainty about what points will achieve what, as with another much loved cliche the ''must have 40 points to avoid relegation'' taking another kicking" Correct. But a target can be to achieve mathematically guaranteed safety, whilst the overall aim can remain as finishing as high as possible. Targets are benchmarks. Most companies'' aim is to make as much money as possible. many will set targets along the way to help them work towards their aim.
  8. "Aim: to finish as far up the league as possible. First target: make ourselves safe from relegation." how do you seperate the two ? how can you achieve the latter without contributing to the former - and pretty much visa versa ?" Precisely. As I said in the bit of my post you didn''t quote: Not mutually incompatible.
  9. Aim: to finish as far up the league as possible. First target: make ourselves safe from relegation. Not mutually incompatible.
  10. One Tina Turner There''s only one Tina Turner She''s always been shite But her legs are alright Walking in a Turner wonderland
  11. Palace were truly woeful at the start of the season and then pretty woeful again up until the last few games. I predict they will get less than 20 points.
  12. Would be surprised if he is still with them next year. Pleased but surprised.
  13. That Sam Byram That Sam Byram I do not like that Sam Byram
  14. I enjoyed reading that. As you say, no comment needed.
  15. Blimey Ricardo doing the predictor for a whole season must have taken a chunk out of your day.
  16. "@tomclarke752some bloke on canary call said that the board made hughton change his tactics why we been scoring more is this true?" Rubbish McNally Tweet. Mr Mc hasn''t lied to us yet and I see no reason to believe he is now. Some of the conspiracy theorists on here have been known to suggest that other fans'' lack of support for/faith in the club is damaging. I would venture to suggest that the peddling of such conspiracy theories is somewhat damaging in itself. Please desist.
  17. Correct. And a pat on the back to all those who speculated on here at that time that we were already safe.
  18. Doesn''t mean diddley squat of course and purely hypothetical but just for fun, given that Wigan went down on 36 points, does anyone remember when we got to 37, thus making us retrospectively safe at that stage?
  19. Absolutely no idea what any of this means. But nice to be in the top 10 of anything. Is it bollox? If so, what kind of bollox?
  20. Interesting idea NWC - now show me the stats
  21. Have Bolton got anyone decent we can pilfer as part of this deal?
