Just to play devils advocate here a bit. We all know the police and government tried to cover up a lot of what happened and deserve the criticism they are getting and some people will end up in jail and quite rightly so....... However, the fact that hundreds possibly thousands of liverpool fans turned up without tickets and stormed the turnstiles, which caused the mass crush and the actual deaths, somehow seems to be forgotten. Yes if the police and stewards had done a better job it could have been prevented, but on the flip side if those fans without tickets hadn''t have turned up the same could be said.

If Fulham play the way they did in the first half and the first 20 mins of the second half yesterday, the game will be over by then as it will 2 or 3 nil Fulham. We have to come out at 100 miles an hour all attacking and get an early goal, if we do that their heads will drop like it did when Everton scored the second, but if we play the way we normally do away from home we will be hammered.

Then why not start playing better and picking up results 10 games ago, they were all in danger then. I will be shocked if Fulham and Cardiff get more than 32 points and Sunderland 34

Sunderland, Fulham, and Cardiff have taken 25, 24 and 25 points from 29, 31 and 31 games respectively. What makes anyone think that in the last 7 or 9 games they are going to take 13-15 points to stay up. One more win and we are safe.

The most glaring observation on RVW on Saturday is how deep he was coming to get the ball sometimes he was back in our half when he got it, then plays a short pass and has 40 yards to get into the box. For me a great striker is one that plays off the centre backs, the likes of Rush and Owen and Lineaker, you never saw them collect the ball as deep as RVW was on saturday.

Don''t the players have a responsibility to give us something to cheer about, say attacking football. It''s quiet because we get the same dire boring negative play each week, only in patches have we shown any real attacking intent.
