1.
I was optomistic about him signing last summer, but having watched him this season, I can assure you he is not value for money.  too slow for midfield.  Okay at the back if you want a sweeper, but not up against either a big target man or young quick strikers.  Save any money you have for someone worth it.
He looked classy against you lot but anyone would have, he is past his best and whilst he is classy on the ball and can pass 50 yards ball with real ease he is to much of a passenger as his legs have gone, also would be well out of your price range, he will either retire or I could see him ending up in the middle east!!
 2.
Ipswich bought him for £100,000 or £200,000, Palarse bought him for £600,000. So you''re looking at £200,000 - £300,000 probably.
Not to forget his £10k a week wages!!
 3.
Rudi Skacel has just been released along with a few others from southampton worth a look? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Sk%C3%A1cel
He has been on £20k a week at Saints and turned us down because we couldnt afford him, i suspect he will be a little out of your reach!! In any event he is not that great
 4. Bit like asking nick Leeson advice on Investments!!     Date: 6/5/2009 ''Business in football'' pay £18 and see what you''ll get from their famous chief executive http://www.managers.org.uk/content_1.aspx?id=10:602&id=10:579&id=10:15&id=10:4
 5.
this thread fails. I was at least expecting a cowboy style quip.
Ok yyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa!!!
 6. Then there is only one possible outcome, you need proffesional people in situations like yours not Men of the Law! lol
 7. a young up and coming manager, Like Bryann Gunn perhaps?
 8.
Agreed Hooley. F*** Me - What''s the point in living life in a downbeat way and moping about our shambles of a football club? Pay the money, sing whatever you like.
and take the consequences of singing and supporting, division 3 is where your fans deserve to be, we stopped going to games and stopped bying season tickets in large numbers when our club was on the way down, the result was we got a multi millionare owner to pump in Millions to us and a qulaity manager, as a result our fans are now coming back to games, you have to be cuel to be kind and we got what we wanted from our club, can you say the same??
 9.
Bryan Gunn wants the players to go away for the summer and come back and look him in the eye and tell him if they want to play in league one next season. Firstly, I doubt very much that any one coming back after the summer will not be reporting to Mr Gunn, and secondly why should they have the choice. They should be told they will be playing league one football net season. Will be interesting to see how many of the players the club actually owns will be here to represent the club next season. I fancy there may be quite a few who will abandon ship to pastures new... and in fairness it may be a good thing to start completely afresh.....but hey...i thought we would be at least in the play offs this season, how wrong can one be
I think it is almost certain Gunn will still be manager next season, even your chairman has indicated it when he said that Gunn wants the job and that carries weight with him! You have no money so you can only appoint within and Gunn will be given a two year deal I would put money on it!!
 10. That chant sums you lot up totally, no ambition from owner to players to fans, just happy to celebrate being garbage and becoming a third division side, you get the club you deserve because you are spineless!

The fact that he is a truley shocking striker who has scored 5 goals all season and was marked out of the game at Pr by a shi* Ivan Campo doesn''t bother you? What has happened to your club your standards are so low it''s unreal!
Don''t know why you are so concerned, it''s not your Club after all, it''s ours, and he is not your player either  [:)]
I guess in some way I am just a little sad that there won''t be any more derby games for a long time, feels like an end of an era. I am just suprised at how low your standards are that''s all, not trying to make fun it just seems suprising how keen you seem to be on a poor aging striker who was a cast off from your local rivals and who has scoored what 1 goal for you!

 13.
Doherty is going to be leading us Sunday, no doubt about it. Gunn will just be a by stander, Clingan will be Doherty''s right hand man and we''ll win because the players want it, not because Gunn is riding on the wave of former glory.
I would be totally shocked if you beat Charlton, you are shockingly bad and they will want to win badly for their fans to try and sell some st''s for next year. draw at best for you guys, When was the last time you "stufffed" anyone?
 14.
If only it were that simple! Ipswich are showing real ambition at the moment which you have to admire as would love to see it at CR.  Think that having £20m to buy players to add to an already decent squad should help you to challenge next year, but as QPR found out, it takes more than money.
But QPR didn''t spend that much money, they have rich owners but how many players did they sign for over £1m? They signed loads of people but they were all like £400- £500k players! I epxpect us to sign 3 or 4 players in the summer and we should end up splashing out £3-4m on one player!
 15.
What''s that coming over the hill? It''s a two tier Premiership with no relegation to the League. Ipswich can see it coming and they''ve done something about it.  Credit where it''s due even though it makes me feel sick to say so. We could have played our last local derby for a very very long time if not for ever.
You will come back at some point but I think we will be promted by then and it waill tkae you a good 3 or 4years to get out of league 1/2, get someone to buy your club and you will come back!
