  1. Judge him over time, 4 games isn''t enough to judge but I''m happy thus far. He''s picking players who want to play and care and are actually quite good footballers. We weren''t very good last night but still won, we can grind out results, we''re winning comfortably away from home. That was the stuff of dreams last season. Anyone else remember Charlton at home in the cup, we were terrible and still managed to lose. Give them time instead of just losing faith straight away.
  2. Obviously the real fans.... "couldn''t believe whaley was black" Week in week out season ticket holder ;).
  3. Banter is fine, but only going to abuse the away fans is a bit pointless. £3 to use behavior which is normally suited to a ASBO seems like a good deal to them, can''t do it anywhere else as our stewards don''t fancy tackling 15-20 youngsters, what surprised me is they didn''t bring any police in to try and quieten them down.
  4. I was sitting E Block near the front, but wasn''t one of the idiots just taunting the away fans. There was one directly behind me who would not stop singing, on his own literally the worst "chants" you could imagine. Anything that came into his head he tried to put some kind of tune to and sing it, and maybe once did someone join in and those were his mates anyway. Fortunately we only have to put with during Cup games, as they can only stretch to seeing a couple of games a season and don''t have season tickets.
  5. Kennedy was a good centre half, better than what we already had the club.
  6. It''s well known he expressed a desire to Gunny to move onward and upward.
  7. We are playing in this competition for a reason. I''m going to Carrow Road tonight to watch us smash a team that beat us two weeks ago. If any of you don''t want a trip out to Wembley then I''m not exactly sure whats wrong with you. We''re in this division and I want us to win every game possible. So get behind the team.
  8. There is literally more chance of us getting 25,000 at home on Tuesday night.
  9. "And that is saying something. Lee Croft gave 100% Lee Croft ran up the wing Lee Croft cross end with no product Simple really Sammy Clingan should have got it!" AGREED. Clingan should have got it.
  10. How can you say I know nothing? Everything I said was valid? Wether you believe it or not, or have a different opinion doesn''t bother me. But why try and cut it down straight away? I''d like to know your opinion on the matter instead of just saying mine is wrong? If you have a better one? or a right one? I''d sure be interested to hear it?
  11. No I think he should be dropped, but to say ''he''s the worst defender seen at NCFC'' is touch of a exaggeration?
  12. For gods sake. Seriously he has a couple of good games, scores the winner. Everyone will want him back in the team, it''s absolutely ridiculous, same goes for Wes Hoolahan, OJT, Gill, Nelson, Theo and any other new players that have received the brunt of this Forums anger. He''s had a couple of bad games, but last season coming 2nd in the player of the season means that the vast majority of the fans didn''t think he was a bad footballer. He hasn''t become a terrible footballer, he is looking a bit out of shape and has had a couple of bad games. But if Holt had a couple of shockers, would he get slated? No probably not, but if it was Jamie he would get slated. Some of the posters just want out players to fail, they want someone to have a moan at, because surprisingly for a League One team our board have actually spent some money, the same can''t be said for other clubs in this league. So you can''t really moan at the board on this season performance, because they got rid of Gunny and brought in a manager who the majority agree with. Norwich City fans always love to have a good moan about something. We were outclassed by a quality outfit. Slipping isn''t exactly a horrendous mistake, specially as Lappin should probably have been tracking Jones out that wide. I wouldn''t fancy my chances marking Campbell and Jones who regularly score against much better defences. Spillane got sent off for a petulant foul, completely unnecessary, and it certainly was a foul. Yet he doesn''t get slated? You need to get some continuity before slating certain players, and singing the praises of others. I realise this post won''t be the most popular, but it''s also to the point.
  13. Completely agree Lincoln, somewhere I''ve posted 3 similar articles just not together. That just includes everything I''m thinking! Lovely to hear someone speak the truth.
  14. I''m attending Reading, but I''ll be back for the big Brentford game in the Paint ;)
  15. How any of you think one bad game means he should leave is beyond me. You''re too fickle, he looks less interested than normal and he''s straight out the door? No matter if he''s the most talented player or not. Has everyone else failed to notice he''s the only player being courted by a bigger team. Therefore he''s only player that is worth anything to us, don''t give me anything about him being too lightweight, and league one being a rough league. Hoolahan has more than enough skill to play us out of this league. Why you''d want to get rid of him for the sake of 500k. When that could be created from Russell, who was poor last season. Anyone who disagrees didn''t see enough matches. He was terrible upfront out of position and marginally better in the middle of the park getting sent off and stupid bookings. A couple of bad goals and a huge wage isn''t enough to keep him specially when we''ve got Gill, Jones, Hughes, Adeymi, Smith, Lappin, Hoolahan who can all play a variation on centre mid (I''m also probably forgetting some). Seriously how after one game you lot want to get rid of Hoolahan is stupid.
  16. Wycombe were terrible, but by no means did we look fantastic. A decent performance; yes! Especially after the recent events. Outstanding, not a chance. Much room for improvement which pleases me.
  17. Should have been player of the season last year. I wish him all the best!
  18. KEEP. No doubt about it, best player left now Clingan left.
  19. Appreciated Zippersleftfoot, someone who agrees with my judgement to a extent. We played a terrible side, can anyone remember them attacking with any intent, you''re talking about Hoolahan not earning his wages.... look at their strikers. Only scored because of our terrible mistakes from lumps up field.
  20. I believe he''s better suited to right back, quick good ball player. Doherty and Askou will be a better partnership or Nelson/Askou. Askou had a off day today but is certainly a good player. I''m not saying Spillane isn''t a acomplished player, he is and he can only improve just I think he''s better suited keeping Ot-semipro on the bench.
  21. 500k wouldn''t get us a player as good as him. Swansea are getting a bargin. He wasn''t playing with the right team last year, this team and he will shine. Just needs to be given a few games, if he is kept. Lambert will shape him into a quality player, as he signed him at Livingston so obviously believes in him. He''s a unknown quantity to an extent because we certainly haven''t seen the best of him.
  22. It wasn''t a good performance, the team worked well together. But we played a terrible Wycombe team, that was for all to see. If people think that was our best peformance we will get no where near promotion. I only rated how I did because I believe this team/squad can step it up a huge amount.
  23. Enough for him to hear it, which is enough for him to be affected I''d imagine. He wouldn''t have played today if the move was a certainty, they wouldn''t risk his fitness, if anything he''d have put in more effort if a move was on the cards, to make Swansea certain of his talents. Why doesn''t Otsemobor get more abuse when he is a terrible player? yet Hoolahan is our best player, has one bad day and you''re trying to send him packing. Yet Jonny might have one good day a season and you don''t start a thread about him (to my knowledge). It''s only one bad game, I wouldn''t judge him just yet. He''ll play a blinder against Sunderland if picked.
  24. I can understand your frustration, but him being booed was completely unnecessary. I thought you were incredibly harsh, he didn''t have a appalling game. He wanted the ball all the time, as I said before, he is a playmaker and when we aren''t making any play what can be done, he plays under pressure and there was no pressure from them and no pressure from us going forward. I don''t blame him for his attitude and think he is deserving of staying at the club, he will be a stand out performer for the club this season if he is kept, which of course he won''t. He applauded the fans all the way back to the tunnel if you watched him leave? There was no need for the bad attitude from the fans toward him, he didn''t do anything wrong. Drury make many mistakes in the first half and didn''t get booed I think it was completely uncalled for.
