  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq2J146riTI I''ve been to several games with friends, one example being Chelsea, in the shed where just one guy stands up and sings something like "Zig-a-Zag-a-Zig-a-Zag-a". Having seen this video, with a one man call back chant, I think it would be good to implement this at Carrow Road as we don''t have anything of the sort currently and can really get the crowd going....This may well be shot down, however having seen it first hand I personally think it''s a good idea? Norwich-NORWICH Norwich-NORWICH Come on you boys in green- COME ON YOU BOYS IN GREEN Come on you boys in green- COME ON YOU BOYS IN GREEN Norwich is Yella''n''Green- NORWICH''S YELLA''N''GREEN Norwich is Yella''n''Green- NORWICH''S YELLA''N''GREEN
  2. Cluck you''re a bell end. Graduates contribute more to society through taxes and reinvestment into the economy than an extra £3000 a year through fees for maybe 3 years. £9,000 a person is nothing compared to the amount that goes back into the country in future years.
  3. Wetherspoon''s at Liverpool Street? The pub on South Africa Road, about 100metres from the ground is home fans only, but there are plenty of pubs on the Uxbridge Road, which is where I''m going after slipping down a Wetherspoon''s All-Day Breakfast As for parking, somewhere like Redbridge? Cockfosters? Right on the edge of London, parking is normally cheap and as there are few commuters it isn''t hard to park up. Takes about 45 minutes to get into Central London though, well to Sheperds Bush anyway.
  4. Sweep over like Jack Tweed. Thinks he''s Danny Dyer?
  5. Should be a loyalty pot for those kind of games, if you''ve gone to a certain percentage of games you''re guaranteed a seat. Won''t happen though, it''ll be all the people who complain about prices for Barnsley at home but can somehow afford more for the Derby games.
  6. Cheaper from Kings Lynn, and as I''m from near Fakenham, I''ll be heading from there. Get on the beers once in the Capital, beautiful. Normally have to drive, so it''ll be a lovely change.
  7. Tim, I''ll let you know might have two tickets available. I''ll find out this evening my friend and brother might have to work.
  8. It''s surprising to me that Lambo lives out a suitcase, must be crap. Hopefully the Middlesborough job doesn''t come up, his name will definitely be in the hat? Close to home, might suit him?
  9. The guy who starts the thread asks a genuine innocent question wanting some feedback from those of us who can see the games week in week out, as their isn''t too much reaction on Radio Norfolk. I think I''ve heard this guy at least twice on Radio Norfolk? One that actually talks some sense, just because he can''t make the games doesn''t make him a loyal fan, I know when I can''t get to games I rarely listen to them, but seeing 20+ games a season, I''d call myself a reasonably loyal fan. There are different kind of fans, but someone who listens week in week out is better than most of us on here. No need to rip him for an innocent question, we should be encouraging more support, not belittling it and saying ''I''m a bigger fan than you, so you can''t support Norwich''. We want a full stadium week in week out, whether they really care about Norwich or not, the more money we have, the more Lambo can spend on gems.
  10. Sorry guys, trying to listen to coverage but iPlayer isn''t letting me (some kind of licensing?), is there any other way of listening or do I need to go find a radio..? Many thanks.
  11. I agree with Jacko on this one. I do like Paulo and his insistence on playing football his way, but I think he sticks to his philosophy too much, he''d probably fair alright in the Prem, but Championship you have to be able to change the way you play very quickly. Which Lambert is certainly adjusting too, but Paulo just didn''t have that in his bag. I do hope he gets another club and becomes successful because I always liked the guy personally!
  12. Paul Gallacher-GK Tony Warner- GK Darren Ward- GK Jamie Ashdown- GK Lee Camp- GK Had quite a few forgettable Goalkeepers in recent memory.
  13. Quality game last time, Darel Russell popped in a second half goal for a cheeky 1-0 smash and grab. Had to sit 3 rows back from the front of the lower tier as it was raining. Good from the Norwich fans but nothing from QPR, hopefully their in good voice this time, top of the league.
  14. Right in my opinion, football is a passionate game and a lot of chants involve swear words, so as long as it isn''t constant I see nothing wrong with it. If it''s in the family area, I understand the problem, but I have been asked to refrain from swearing in the Barclay. Well having kids in an vocal area of the ground is a stupid idea. I of course told him where to go, the Aviva Community Stand... As for the ''c'' word, literally it isn''t offensive to one group of people, it isn''t racist or anything and if taken literally I don''t see a problem with it. It is a passionate word and can be used if necessary. I see no problem with it, people should stop being such prudes, they don''t have to use offensive language, but in the Barclay/ Snake Pit what do you really expect?
  15. I was surprised he was so comfortable at left mid, might be an attacking left back, hopefully not in the same mould as Otsemeobor however.
  16. Very accomplished, bit of gas, good delivery, eye for a pass, nice touch... By the looks of it, a very good addition to the squad, pity he isn''t right footed really, give Korey a bit of competition. Very good start and pleased to see him come on when we were under such pressure and he still played his game, unfazed.
  17. Grant Holt is a little underhand, we don''t really have a ''dirty'' player and haven''t in some years. We have those one who love a tackle, Crofts, Gary Holt, Safri, Brellier amongst others, but none to be described as dirty for 10 years or more...
  18. Because nothing really needed to be said following Saturday''s game. Didn''t deserve to lose, should have taken 3 points and any other day we would have, the team played very well and no-one needed to be changed with is exactly what Chris and Neil said, I''m not going to ring up to agree with those points.
  19. Please lets not embarrass ourselves, our chants are pretty poor as they are, can we please not make them worse by making crisp jibes..?
  20. Lappin away at Luton? First goal for the club an absolute stormer. Apparently Fox is something of a dead ball specialist? But he''s never on the pitch, not that I''m saying he should be, as Crofts has made the position his own. Bye bye, Gill, Hughes & Tudur Jones.
  21. Completely agree with that Hucks, thought that the vast majority of things came down the left side, played very narrow on the right, Korey became more of a central midfielder with Crofts, filling in for Hoolahan. Maybe lacking a right winger? Not that I have anything against Korey, just hardly any balls came in from that side, and so they often had 2/3 men on that side and if other teams have more quality on their right hand side we''ll struggle.
  22. Agreed, subs earlier was my only worry. Jackson could have got a lot more into the game if we weren''t already one down just as he''s getting into his stride. Might have made the difference. Having said that Lambert seems to know what he''s doing and I can''t remember the last time I saw him make a sub before 70/75 mins.
